When Allyson woke up that morning, after making a piece of toast and slathering it with peanut butter, she turned on her computer to check her emails. She had been applying daily to different jobs, from secretary, to office clerk, anything where she could be behind a desk and either on the phone or computer. She was kind of desperate at this point and after her mother had brought it up, she opened up a profile on the website, Nannies.com.

At first she thought it was a porn website, but her mother, and why would her mother be watching porn, about nannies none the less, eww, had told her about it. Some of the people she worked with at the office used it and from what they had said, she was a great candidate for a nanny.

She had the experience with children, having worked at the daycare for nearly ten years. But that was why she was looking for a boring desk job. She wanted out of the high pace that came with watching children. But, she was good at it and all her certifications, CPR and first aide, were up to date. So, since she was desperate, she created a profile and had downloaded her resume.

That was about a month ago.

So waking this morning, she hadn't expected to be contacted.

He name was Deryn McAllister, father of two year old Melanie McAllister. They had just moved to the small town of Woodland Falls, Colorado and as a single father, he had no one to watch her as he started his new job. Since it was her only hit, she sent back a response. They agreed to meet that afternoon over coffee to discuss terms and what all he expected. But the man she met with, wasn't whom she had expected.

He just moved to town, to start anew, his wife, the mother of his little girl, having passed away nearly a year before, and he loved her and just couldn't take being in the town where they had grown up together and fell in love anymore. Perhaps it started a slight depression, so to do better for his daughter, he packed up and left. And her being so young, it wouldn't hurt her to bad to be uprooted like that.

He found a job, bought a small house before moving out there with help from his parents, they understood completely and have his back on his decision. But what he didn't take into consideration was who would watch Melanie when he was at work? So he searched the papers and then went online and found the site Nannies.com. After looking through a lot of people, he didn't want just anyone watching Melanie, he found Allyson. Her picture was sweet and she looked like she actually cared, so he reached out and the next morning, he got a response. They agreed to meet over coffee. And for the first time since his wife had passed, he felt that acceleration of his heartbeat, that tingle in his loins as attraction filled him.


So with this, I need a male to play Deryn. Melanie could be an NPC. But I see this as a slow budding romance, especially since he is new to town. And since Melanie begins to love her, it's easy for him to begin to fall.
