Interest Thread: Devil May Cry - Fate of Two Worlds

Having recently finished the latest installment of the DMC series I wanted to see if their were any online rpg based on it. Imagine my surprise when I found there weren't many out there so I thought I give it a try here on Elliquiy.  The basic idea is this;

Two years after the events of Fourtuna Island, Dante learns that his twin Vergil didn't die at Mundus's hand but rather had used the last vestige of their father's power to rip open a portal leading to another hell dimension where he landed in the most unlikely of situations. Back in the human world Dante enlists the help of Nero who possesses Yamato to try and find a way to bring his twin back as their efforts are blocked by group calling themselves the "Exalted". It is unclear what their goals are but one thing is for certain - they don't want Vergil brought back and seem real keen on taking Yamato.

Meanwhile after being flung to another world Vergil awakens to find himself in a hell unlike any other he had seen before.  Unfortunately for him he was quickly beset upon by the denizens of this new realm and despite being sword-less he puts up an impressive fight with hand to hand skills alone, but even then it isn't nearly enough. On the cusp of defeat the half devil son of Sparda is rescued by a masked savior. In return for saving his life and tending his injuries his masked rescuer exacts a Debt of Honor that would prove most interesting.

Name;  Vergil, Twin son of Sparda
Alias;  The Dark Knight, Nelo Angelo.
Age;  Unknown.  (Looks 25.)
Race;  Half demon/half human.
Physical Description;

Styles;  Darkslayer.
Powers;  Darkslayer Style of combat.  Teleportation, long range sword slashes, lightning fast strikes, and incredible strength even without using his Devil Trigger.  Major boosts to endurance, speed, agility, dexterity, and all the rest thanks to his demon half, Vergil is a force to be reckoned with even on the worst days.  Summoned Swords for long range attack when not using his Darkslayer abilities.
Personality;  Cold, sardonic, collected, and calm as glacial ice, Vergil is a warrior without equal or compare.
Strengths;  Incredible strength, speed, agility, dexterity, endurance, and senses even without using his Devil Trigger.  Some magical power as well is in his possession, mainly in the form of telekinetic blades he's able to summon at will.
Weaknesses;  Personality flaws abound in Vergil's character, the most obvious one being however is mentioning either his half breed nature or by saying his mother's name.  Either way, be prepared for Hell's full fury to fall upon your head for either transgression, but if you're able to exploit said weakness you might just gain the upper hand if used correctly.
Profession;  None currently.  (Will be another investigator however, much like his brother.)
Personal Possessions;  Besides the clothes on his back and the weapons he carries, Vergil does hold one personal item that serves no practical function for combat or anything else.  A small amulet, half of a larger magical amulet which his brother holds the other half which when combined along with breaking a couple dozen seals, can be used to open a path to the Demon World, where their father sealed away his own power within his sword.

Devil Arms;  None currently.  Yamato however is his chosen sword in any situation, capable of sealing or opening true Hell Gates or completely destroying them when not used to create them.
Personal History;  The last time he and Dante had seen each other had been in the Demon World, being left wounded and weakened by their last fight together which he had lost.  Something in Vergil's otherwise cold heart began to thaw, but it would be a long time before he changed for the better in any noticeable sense of the word.  Regardless, before all this happened, the blue samurai warrior of countless battles both on this side and the demon side of existence used to be just like Dante in every sense of the word as far as having a caring heart and a strong sense of right and wrong, but with the death of their parents, Vergil changed for the worst.  Now, at a bit of a 'midlife crisis', the man must adapt to the stirrings of his long dead heart or fall back into darkness....

Alias: No-face, though she detests being called that.
Age: 26 (146)
Race: Doppelganger (not sure what that falls under.
Physical Description:

This is her most common appearance, though due to her nature she can appear differently.

Styles: Blade-Fist. It is essentially a form of martial arts, but the fashion in which she executes it allows and is enhanced by the addition of a blade attacked to the wrist, extending past the fist. On her main hand she utilized the blade, as it is her main hand, but on her off hand there is a different mechanism attacked. With a solid punch it fires a shotgun slug, into the target. The gauntlet on this hand is armored to prevent self-harm with the punch, and therefor also serves as her defensive arm.
Powers: Transformation, though at the cost of deep desire to claim the life of whose identity she has assumed, if they're not already dead. Telepathy, and enhanced empathy (can read surface thoughts.)
Strength: Due to her abilities, she can read and replicate nearly any type of personality. Her powers of deception are also quite prevalent.
Weakness: If viewed in a mirror or camera of any kind, she has no face. Anyone with slight psionic abilities is able to detect and even block her enhanced empathy. Powerful enough Psionic attacks are able to force her back to her original state, and sonic attacks disrupt her ability, often leading to a reversion to her true form. Also, a covering of lead is enough for any non-psion to block her. Is also very sensitive about her true form's appearance.
Profession: Espionage specialist, but also a moderately skilled assassin.
Weapons: Her dual gauntlets; one lighter with a blade attached, which extends about 4 inches past her fist, the other a bit heavier and more protected, with an impact compartment under her fist that fires it's loaded shotgun slug upon impact (can be manually fired with a wire inside the elbow.)
Possessions: Her coat, her weapons, and a journal. This journal is full of names a dates. These are the people she has personally killed and claimed the identities of, and the dates are when she killed them, so as to avoid using an identity 30 years old.
History: Serene has been wandering from place to place, being sure to avoid any highly populated area's that were strongly anti-anything not human. She'd been found a few times, once or twice on purpose in hopes of finding a job with which to earn money. Her skills earned her a decent reputation among darker circles of humans, and she is known by some devils or demons to be a deceptive whore, though she won't admit to being anywhere near a harlot.

Well, other than some grammar issues, which are minor anyway, I myself like Serene but this isn't my game unless the gal in charge makes me a Co-GM or something lol.  Until then however, it's not my approval you need win, but if it was I'd go for this idea in a heartbeat.   ;D

As a side note, Devil Arms can be created but I do ask, and I'm sure that Katra agrees with me on this, that they don't get too out of hand AND that you have a historical mention of them somewhere in your background history.  Beyond that, go nuts I say.   ;D

The best I could figure for Serene would either be a mask of some kind that removes her weakness while strengthening her in some way... or a new set of gauntlets that up her combat prowess, but I dunno...

Well, one of the other promised characters has already asked for Gilgamesh, and I'm looking for Beowulf as far as Vergil's concerned.  Still, a mask if found later on wouldn't be a bad idea if you want to go that route or another pair of custom made gauntlets and greaves as well so long as they are different from what's been made already.  Up to you though Racaro buddy.  In the meantime, welcome to E and I hope you have a blast here with the rest of us lol.  If you want, start spreading the word around by sending this interest thread through PMs to those you think might like this game to help draw more attention this way would be quite welcome.  Beyond that, relax and pull up a chair lol.

The human world, she was born there, and she's only slipping in and out of hell for very high paying jobs... but she's had very few of those. Though, what she'd gleamed from those small dives thwarted a devil or two from crossing over successfully.

Name: Jacqueline Whitechapel
Alias: Jack The Ripper, The Ripper, Leather Apron, The Nemesis of Neglect, etc.
Age: 20's (120's)
Race: Half-Devil

Physical Description: Jack appears to be an attractive young woman in her early to mid-twenties. She has dark hair brilliant green eyes. Her figure is slender and athletic. She can usually be seen dressed in something comfortable with dark colors and patterns, though she is never seen without her signature bowler and umbrella. The umbrella, at a glance, simply appears to be a cheap black affair with a red rose charm dangling from the handle.

History: Jacqueline grew up in London, England in the late 1800's, the product of a half-devil mother and human father. When she was but a young girl, her mother slew her father during a heated argument and then fled their home, leaving the girl staring at her father's beheaded corpse. Alone, she had to fend for herself in a city that was notoriously rough at the time. But she did more than survive. She spent days working in factories (disguised as a boy), and many nights living in an alley over a heating grate while she taught herself how to read, write, work with machinery.. and fight. Jack spent her 'teenage' years searching for her mother - to murder her. Young Jack could sense low-level demons that loved to dress up as prostitutes and prey on the souls of men. She slew many of these demons during her quest for revenge, hoping that one of them would lead her to her mother. They never did. As Jacqueline grew up, her quest for revenge was put on the back burner and she simply satisfied herself with honing her combat skills and hunting down bigger and badder demons.

Styles:
-Cockney Clobbering: Jackie learned how to fight by watching bare-knuckle boxing matches and getting into street fights. She is adept at fighting in a boxing style, bobbing and weaving, and delivering all manner of punches. She can go toe-to-toe in this style, blocking, dodging or absorbing punches while dishing out her own attacks. The downside is that this is not a very mobile style of fighting, as she has to keep her feet planted.

-Rainmaker: Jackie fights with her umbrella in this style (see 'weapon' for more) and is very mobile. This style is of her own design and she has spent years upon years perfecting and honing combat with her unique little weapon. She is nearly adept with it as older demons like Dante and Vergil are with their swords. All told, however, the umbrella has shorter range than a sword and, while multi-functional, it's use as a weapon relies more of the opponent under-estimating her than anything else.

Powers: She has all the powers other half-devils exhibit; immense speed and strength, the ability to 'flash step' (moving so quickly she appears to teleport), leaping astounding distances, slow aging, astounding durability and stamina. She is, however, younger than either Dante, Vergil, or other half-devils - she has not unlocked any sort of Devil Trigger or higher powers that go along with her heritage.

Strength: Intelligent, studious, determined
Weakness: Arrogant, inexperienced
Profession: Bookstore Owner ("The Black Library", East End, London)
Weapons: "Rainmaker", Jack's custom-made umbrella. The parasol is made of astoundingly tough heat-resistant fabric that can be used to block all manner of weapons and bullets when it is open. Blades can pop out of the edges of the parasol if she depresses a hidden button, and the entire top can be made to spin at high speeds, turning it into a gruesome saw-type of weapon. The cap at the end is also multi-functional, it can be made to dispense flames, gas, a thin blade for fencing, or even a grappling hook. The little rose charm on the end is actually a grenade, which can be pulled off and thrown, or detonated by remote with a little button on her bowler (in case someone takes her umbrella).
Possessions: Bowler hat, Umbrella, Oyster card, about 50 pounds in money

Race: Half-demon/half-human

History: Dante is the the youngest twin son of Sparda. After the death of his parents and the disappearance of his brother, Dante fully embraced his human heritage for a long time wanting nothing to do with the demonic influence that destroyed his family and drove his brother into becoming a vengeful power seeking individual. Dante's reluctance to having anything to do with his demonic heritage lasted well into his late teens when some friends of his accidentally got themselves involved in demon affairs forcing Dante to unleash his devil blood to save them. Once opening that door there was no going back for Dante, so he decided to put his abilities to good use and open up a Devil Hunting agency. Since then Dante has had some interesting fights to say the least battling some his father's old foes and preventing megalomaniacs from opening Hellgates. Along the way he managed to pick up a small group of like minded hunters that help out on various jobs, even managing to snag himself a lady fair in the form of quirk, devious sultry kitsune. A few highlights of his life is the supposed death of his twin brother Vergil and discovering an unknown younger brother, Nero. Right now it seems that a new power is on the rise seeking the Devil Arms and the power of the Sparda line in form of Yamato and the demon knight's progeny. Oh, well things were getting a bit boring as of late.

Styles: Swordmaster, Gunslinger and Trickster

Powers: Though not quiet as fast or exacting as his twin, Dante more than makes up for it in pure physical strength and endurance.

Strength: Strong, fast and enduring. Doesn't know when to quit and is intensely passionate and fiercely loyal to those few in his inner circle of what he considers family and friends

Weakness: Chronic flirting, pizza and strawberry ice cream. Cocky, arrogant and a consummate smart-ass. Has a bit of a sadistic streak in him.

Profession: Freelance Devil Hunter, Owner of Devil May Cry

Weapons: Rebellion, Ebony and Ivory

Possessions: Other than his Devil Arms, his trademark red coat, and his irrepressible attitude, not much else.

(Vergil.)  Indeed we are, and I don't remember asking your opinion on anything Serene.  This is between the Sons of Sparda.  "He replied to the rude interruption before turning to the uppity Nero, cold fire in his glacial blue eyes."  And you boy have no right to wield my sword.  Return it to me or you will regret ever crossing paths with me.

<Serene> Her apathetic look never left her face, she just sighed at Virgil and took another drink. "That's what I'm talking about... I have to speak aloud to myself in order to think with all the noise going on... and I still get interference..." she said, she looked at her flask, already half-empty. "I'm going to need more booze..."

[MissFire]

(Jack) Glancing sidelong at Serene, she leans with her left hand upon her umbrella and uses her right to tug down the brim of her bowler, "Let the blighters fight it out. That way, I can finish off the gent that survives and have the bounty for m'self. That's smart fightin', luv. Don't do no more work than you have to."

[Racaro]

<Serene> Her glance would wander over to the odd woman with the umbrella, quirking an eyebrow. "Really? There's a bounty on their heads?" she said, pondering for a moment. "I could understand... I'd want to rid the world of guys with swords who think it's cool to say..." she'd start as she quickly shifted to mock Nero's form. "I can kick an old guys ass..." She quickly shifted back, the sudden tense of her muscles easing before the urge could take over.

[MissFire]

(Jack) She pursed her lips slightly and raised her right hand, wagging one finger back and forth in a 'tsk tsk' gesture. "Not what I meant by 'bounty', luv. I mean whatever they're havin' a squabble over must be pretty valuble. Might be somethin' I could display in my shop."

[Katra Alexion]

<Nero> *glares right back at Vergil* "Sword took to me just fine, I don't see a reason to give it back since it's chosen a new wielder." *smirks* "You can fight me for it...oh, wait - you can't, since your in a another realm."

<Kyrie> *suddenly appear and raps Nero smartly upon the head* "That's enough Nero."

<Nero> *rubs head* "Ow! What was that for, Kyrie!"

Gm: Okay, its nice to see you boys got your motors going but seriously save it for the rp. *lol*

Prrrrrrooobably the human world. Her shop, The Black Library, is an occult book store. Maybe Dante comes looking for information on the Exalted? And you could feed me what you want Jack to reveal about it? Or, another idea, maybe she's looking for a way into Nyxvale so she can try and find her mother and extract revenge. Lots of possibilities.

You could combine the two ideas.  She can have a place Earthside but be trying to find a way into the demon world.  I'd go for that lol.

I'd imagine Dante could find his way to Nyxvale. She could give him information, and in exchange, he gets her in to Nyxvale. :D

(Vergil.)  "The phantom image he was projecting into Dante's office scowled at the arrogant pup that bore the demonic arm he wielded his Yamato in, but cooled as he chuckled darkly at the boy before him."  It will be only a matter of time before I find my way back.  When I do, you will regret it, boy.  When I do, you had best be at your top of your game lest you want to find out first hand why even Dante had trouble when fighting me.

<Serene> She watched the scene unfold, sighing heavily. Given what Jack spoke, she suddenly wanted no part in the fight over Yamato. "I know enough about Yamato to wonder why you want it so bad... I would not dig being chased by deranged moth men day in and day out... just wouldn't be cool..." she said, sticking a pinky into her ear.

<Me>: Hm... what should Serene's motivation be? A job would be the most likely... but she might be in it for rumors of another item she could acquire by following Dante around... could end up being her Devil Arms.

NAME: Musashi

ALIAS: Musashi the Greedy, Squish, Money Bag

AGE: 96

RACE: Demon/familiar

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Musashi is a very small demon only reaching the height of ten inches with a wing span of three feet and a tail length of two feet. She is perfectly deceiving with her angelic wings and big green eyes. Green markings displayed along her scales glow and though she looks like an innocent  baby dragon, her tail is extremely bony and very whip-like. With small horns and long ears one must be careful not to confuse her with something pure.

HISTORY: Musashi, like the rest of her kind, were born in hell made to be familiars and sent to do their masters small duties such as sending messages or retrieving small trinkets worth some value, sometimes even sent into places that their masters were much too big to get into. Much like her blood, Musashi is mischievous, greedy, and extremely selfish. Quite often she uses her looks to trick her enemies. After one too many errands, Musashi found it best to squirm her way free from her masters grasp and begin her own collection of treasures and foul play. Crawling up through the dark smoke, Musashi made it to human life and began her journey, whispering into the ears of humans and turning them on each other. Being invisible to the human eye, Musashi never tried to hide in the shadows for she never suspected anyone could really see her.

STYLES: Musashi keeps close to the ground and usually tries slithering herself into places one cannot see or get to her. When backed into a corner she is most likely to attack with her long tail, her claws and teeth being of little use to her in battle.

POWERS: Though rare, once in a position of no escape, Musashi does have the ability to grow. Her small body will transform into a sucked up, skeletal demon with long horns and claws. Her Body will reach nine feet, her scales torn and stretched. With each attack she receives, Musashi will only grow stronger. While in this state the best thing to do is merely back up and wait for her rage to calm, for only when she shrinks will she be vulnerable once more.

STRENGTH: Being small, Musashi is quite crafty and can squeeze herself into places that others would be dumbfounded over. Though her tongue is more prone into persuading humans, one could be quite enticed by the words that she whispers into their ear.

WEAKNESS: Musashi is very greedy. All that glitters and may hold of value is all this demon truly cares about in the end.

PROFESSION: Musashi was born to serve and can be quite good at it if one holds something that she wants.

WEAPONS: Musashi carries none that she was not already born with.

POSSESSIONS: Disgusting as it may be, Musashi carries with her a rotting corpse of a small fairy reaching three inches in length. The dead critter smells, but has yet to fall apart. Not even Musashi fully understands why she carries such a foul thing, but she is quite fond of it. This fairy is usually carried by mouth when on the move and securely in Musashi's tight arms when otherwise. When one threatens to take her prized corpse, Musashi usually swallows it whole to regurgitate it later for safe keeping.

I haven't thought it out fully. I was thinking it had to do with her former master. The corpse is definatly a security blanket for her. A prized posession. Might even animate into an undead down the road. Musashi came from an older idea I had for a castlevania story. She likes to chase and eat the fairies, manly because a fairy familiar was a healer and that goes against something that likes to cause pain. So it could be a sort of way to taunt a fairy by carrying a dead one around as a prize.

Created by the demon emperor Mundus, Trish was to gain Dante's trust and have him meet a similar fate to the man's mother and demon father at the hands of Mundus's assassins.  However, after some time of seeing the demon hunter in action and being saved by him a couple of times, Trish switched sides seemingly at the last second when Dante was at Mundus's mercy.  With her help and her demonic powers that equal Dante's own in many ways, the two were able to put the demon emperor down for good.

Now, years later, the Devil and demon hunter works alongside Dante, Nero, and Lady at Devil May Cry as another member of the team.  With the arrival of the Exalted however, things are about to get a bit crazy, just the way she likes it too.  Things had become a bit boring of late since very few demons can match up against the electrically powered demon slayer who uses two guns just like Dante does.  Regardless of what's coming, Trish plans to stand by her allies no matter what.  Only if Hell froze over would she ever do otherwise.  (And that isn't going to happen so no worries.)
Styles: Rolling Thunder.
Powers: Just like any Devil, Trish is able to regenerate quickly.  Not only that, but she's on par if not past Dante in terms of speed and agility if not strength, endurance.  Even so, she's definitely stronger than a normal human being, and since she has the power of lightning in her grasp, Trish can teleport around the battlefield in a bolt of lightning as well as being able to enhance her bullets with electrical power or those of her allies.
Strength: As said before, Trish is able to shoot lightning out of her hands or to amplify a weapon's power or the projectile force from bullets and missiles.  Still, all of her demonic powers aside, the lightning wielder has a good heart that had been woken up by Dante during their time on Mallet Island together when they were done trying to kill each other.  Because of this, she would never even consider betraying Dante or those he calls friends.
Weakness: She used to be cruel and uncaring, but thanks to Dante that is no longer the case.  Even so, it is possible, though very unlikely, that she'd become her old self again if the right buttons were pressed or her friends were put into danger they had no hope of getting out of.  She'd fight to the very end of course, but demons are naturally chaotic by trade and not to be trusted, especially those that would betray their old masters.....  (It would never happen but it's a thought.   ;D  ))
Profession: "Devil Hunter.  What else would I be doing, really?"
Weapons:  She has been known to use small daggers, (in her role as 'Gloria'), but for the most part she uses a gun in each of her hands just as Dante does called Lucha and Ombra.  She has also used Sparda from time to time as well during a few missions in the past, but for the most part she prefers her twin pistols she's able to amp up with her powers as a demon.
Possessions: Besides her clothes and gear, none.
Devil Arms: None at the moment.

She is quite an interesting character to play. Her greedy ways can get her and others into trouble and though it is not meant to be, Musashi tends to be a bit comical. I find it exciting to be able to dust her off and play with her soon.

Physical Description: Short black combed hair w/ vertical blue streak, brown eyes, dark brown skin, medium toned athletic build, 6' 4", 200lbs, usually wears streetwear and outerwear made for mobility due to his outgoing style while his colors consist of blues, whites, silvers, reds, and blacks. He is rarely seen without his backpack unless he puts it down to fight.
History: The Brice family were always known as protectors, bodyguards, and guardians for those who needed their services the most. Having defended the innocent and fought against evil and corruption since medival times, their legacy continues in their son, Vance, as he fights the darkness of his time. As he returned home to visit his folks, he finds his neighborhood trashed beyond repair, many bodies litered throughout the street, including that of his parents. His father put up a fight, however, and recieved the most punishment, yet, he lived long enough to tell his son with his last breath: "devil". With that, and a psychic probing of the image of what killed his father and everyone, Vance went on a hunt for this thing called a devil. He searched the streets and cities, following the trail of destruction, fighting off the hordes of monsters and demons on the way, or rather, in the way. Eventually, he caught up to the monster he saw in his dad's mind. A goat demon by the name of Baphomet. Its evil, demonic aura overpowered Vance at first, but his own strong-willed soul stood up to the monster as it prepared to engage Vance, launching vicious-looking curved pronged blades from its horns. Using his psychic energy blade, his Mind Blade, and his elemental attacks, he clashed with the beast in what was his biggest fight yet. However, strength and experience was on the devil's side as he quickly brought Vance to the floor. However, before Baphomet could deliver the final strike, Vance uses his elemental power of ice to surprise it with cold and get on top of its back, driving his Mind Blade into the foe's brain and flooding his emotion into it to deliver a series of psychic shocks and blasts that would render it unconscious. Afterwards, Vance took its head, concentrating his mind blade into a tangeble force and severing the head of the beast. He stood before Baphomet's slain  body as it distintergrated, having avenged his family and everyone else it slain. Suddenly, a floating ball of energy appeared before Vance from the demon's horns. As Vance touched it, it became a blade similar to Baphomet's, only sized for him. Fearing that the blade would possess him, he used his psionics to take full control of it, psionic markings appearing on the blade. Form then on, he vowed to use the blade, and any other of these demon-forged weapons, to slay the damned and any other evil in his way. However, he was still wary of these Devil Arms, after all, they were spawn by devils, and he knew of their tactics to sway humans, and he had no intention of becoming influenced by anyone, especially a denizen of Hell.

Trickstar) Uses his parkour and freerunning training combined with self-taught martial arts to deliver volleys of combos to the enemy, leaping, flipping, and manuvering off of structures, buildings, poles, and anything else he can.
Psychic Warrior) Vance obtains Psionic Focus to deliver more kinds of attacks with his psychic abilities, from blending his elements with his melee, to mixing different elements, to making powered-up versions of his attacks.
Hell Reaver) Vance takes full control of the demonic energy in Devil Arms, concentrating them to destroy hellspawn by unleashing their fullest potential. He does this by imposing his will on the weapon to sync with him.

Devil Arms: Baphomet) A crescent-shaped two-ended scimitar with three grips, 5.5 ft in length. Can be used to remove enemy weapons, deliver deep wounds, and be launched like a sawing boomerang. The blade's edge carries a frequency that allows it to unleash sharp sound waves when its in motion, severing anything that the waves touch. It can also create sonic clones of itself, surrounding the enemy with sonic blades and converging on the target with them, or even become one giant circular blade to attack bigger or more enemies. At full strength, it's Crazy Combo is Hell's Gauntlet, swinging the blade around him at blinding speeds, creating a cyclone around Vance that rips up all in its path.

Man oh man does this dude look dangerous.  I love him!  Your Devil Arm is pretty impressive too I gotta say but there is ONE teensy little problem though.  Using one's psionics to amp up the power is cool and all, but you'll notice that all Devil Arms have at least one power of their own they give to the wielder.  For example, Gilgamesh is able to generate powerful blades from the hands while doubling a warrior's destructive power at the same time with regular and charged attacks.  Beowulf is similar but without the blades.  Instead the light gauntlets and greaves double speed and strength while exhibiting light based attacks.  Ifrit is another gauntlet and greaves that does fire but it's the simplest of the three really since it was also the first from what I've seen.  My point being that from what I can see, your Devil Arm doesn't really DO anything on its own beyond what he's allowed it to do lol.  I still approve of your guy by all means, but a little more on the Devil Arm you got there would be most awesome.

Well, most weapons DO have an element but not all of them.  Gilgamesh was one of the few that didn't, as well as most of the projectile weapons you can find in the game, but they all had some kind of power that the others didn't have as well as their own movesets.  Still, it's cool and sound is a good way to go.  As I said, Devil Arms ALL enhance at least one part of a warrior's abilities while giving him or her a ton of new moves that are weapon specific.  Lucifer is a very good example since while it has no real element I can see, it does allow you to throw a ton of energy spears into an enemy that you can detonate at your leisure.  Pandora is a demonic weapons system with 666 different forms but you only get to use maybe a dozen of them, but that's more than enough to lay waste to the battlefield with what they allow you to use lol.   >:)  Sound is a good element but you need something that will enhance an already powerful warrior or at least a hint of what kind of powers it's able to use if nothing else.  I won't ask you to list every attack it can do or anything, but give an idea so we have something to go on.   ;D  Thanks!

He seems a tad overpowered for a normal human. If you ask me, you should drop the yo-yo's and the staff-thing and just focus on the psychic powers. Like he's descended from a long line of psychics or something and he's been raised to hone those powers but never really had a chance to use them since normal humans don't come into contact all that often.

I am here *lol* Spynmaster, you character is well thought out but I find myself agreeing with both Vergil and Miss Fire there on both the Devil Arm and on the psychic abilities. You already know what to tweak on the DA but as for the other I would suggest sticking to one (or two) element. As for the staff or yo-yo I will also say set them aside for now or you can custom them into DA later on. Other than that it is an excellent character

Physical Description: For the most part to converse energy Kei assume the form of a small black fox appearing about mid-adolescent; slim daintily and finely built with glossy raven-blue fur that seems to naturally absorbs ambient light around her. Her humanoid form is that of petite young woman, slim yet lean and athletically toned with lush curves. Long raven-blue hair matching her fur freely reaches her lower back complimenting her peaches and 'n' cream complexion and nicely contrasting with her violet tazanite colored eyes. Her features are a blend of classical European with touch of exotic Oriental thrown in. She loves clothes in the leather, punk and goth venues.

History: Kei doesn't talk about her past much as she feels that her past is no one's business but her owns. The only one she had ever truly opened up to is her paramour, Dante - and even he doesn't know all her secrets. Kei is actually one of the few Kage Kitsunes still existence both in the human and demonic realms. Her kind were hunted nearly to extinction some several hundred years ago for their fur and magical properties until the intervention of the Sage known only as the "Judge". He protected the few remaining numbers, taught them to fight, to use their magics even more effectively. She spent much of her earlier years under the Judges direct care and guidance in the wilds surrounding Nyxvale. As she neared the completion of her training she was allowed to visit other realms and dimensions which she took to working as a Devil Hunter in those realm to cover up her actual work in hunting down 'impure beings'

Styles: Kitsune-bi: Where Trish can control lightning Kei is the mistress of flames, she is able to create and control flames (both normal and magical) so they either burn her opponents of purify taint as she sees fit.

Illusionist: Using deception to her advantage Kei can create illusions to confuse and baffle her enemies and trick them into attacking each other. There are many applications to this style both in and out of fights.

Nature's Call: Manipulating the vegetation around her she can ensnare or impeded the movement of others.

Acrobatic Dervish: Much like the Trickster Style in that it uses alot of fancy moves and tricks with a pair of of daggers to work around the opponent defenses while staying on the move.

Reapers Caress: This style is only taught to Kage kitsunes. The style requires Kei to be in constant motion to be effective, wielding a scythe she can attack her enemies in wide sweeping arcs and slices

Powers: She has control over shadows and fire from her dual heritage. She can also sense and manipulate nature and cast illusions. Her physical prowess while still considered preternatural is considered on the lower end of the totem pole in comparison to other supernaturals. However, what she lacks in raw strength and power she more than makes up for in quick wits, speed, agility and evasion. Though not a psychic herself, Kage Kitsunes possess natural mental barrier that prevent their thought from being read by their opponent thus detecting their presence before they strike. Those combined with her magical skills place her right up there at the tip along with the rest of her crew at Devil may Cry.

Strength: Hard to read (psionically), Sneaky and devious, A fount of demonic information (if you know when and how to get it from her)

Weakness: Kei is secretive, possessive and on the lazy side when nothing important is going on. She is also susceptible to cold forged mithril weapons much in the same way a demon is allergic to holy energies. While it may not initial kill her it can disrupt her connection to the Earth and dismiss her back to her native plane until she is healed.

Profession: Devil Hunter (current) Purifier.

Weapons: Twin Daggers (KageTsume; Shadow Fangs) and enchanted Scythe (Kuro-Hantei)
