I like to play switch characters. So she'll definitively come up sure of herself, thinking she's strong enough to deal with any situation, but if someone were to break her down and dominate her that would be a turn on.

I might just try that, then...

figured I'd throw my hand in and see what happens it sounds fun to me.
Originality is fast becoming obsolete, to make a trully unique world all your own is the mark of a great writer, artist, thinker.

Looks like we have quite a nice crew! When are we getting under way?

OHWceta

I'll probably post the official RP thread tomorrow morning. The Intro (the part where the crew and passengers board the ship) will probably be long enough to allow a few last minute people to join after the official thread kicks off.

Will our shipwrecked crew and passengers encounter any antagonists on the island they land on?

Aside from each other, not likely, at least not humans, there will be animals though. We already decided against terrorists, and other enemies seem just as bad of an idea. I think a few players volunteered their characters to be sabotaging the survivors for their own personal means. And even so some of the non-antagonistic characters might present a threat when in dire circumstances.

So the story begins:

My character has bodyguards on board, his dad doesn't trust him, my characters doesn't know who they are but they know him.

I almost certainly won't bring them in to the story as such  but saying that if any female character wants to double as a bodyguard (assuming our Gm approves) that would be great ...the only requirement would be to get close to Eli and have his back even if he doesn't know you do

Just a thought, that might be of interest:

I believe the legal drinking age in most of that strange country across the Atlantic is a rediculously high 21 years old?

The rest of the world mostly only requires you to be 18, and some parts of the world have the age even lower. So... If the ship is sailing under a flag other than the USA, it is officially the sovereign territory of that nation and the laws of that nation apply while on board. Thus, the moment the ship enters international waters, the legal drinking age goes down to 18.

Now, of course, the Captain of the ship is legally responsible for everything that goes on, but he is answerable only to the maritime authorities of whatever nation his ship is flagged under. It is highly unlikely that those authorities - mostly concerned with such weighty matters as piracy, shipwrecks, oil spills, etc, would bother themselves about the trifling matter of a few under-age drinkers.

Thus, it is left down to the staff at the bars to determine whether they should serve an individual or not. And as this is supposed to be an adults only type cruise, with no kids... You get my point?

Your logic is sound! You must be right! In order to do this plan, we need a paperclip, some chewing gum, a Tribble, and a set of handcuffs!

...

Wa~ait... I'm not on the same page as everyone else... H-hang on... *Turns a few pages* Oh. Here we are. Yea. I agree.

OOOH, what page were you on? It sounds a lot more interesting than mine!

OHWceta

Considering it's an adults only Cruise.

I'm not sure what the rules are in Bermuda or the Bahamas but in the British Virgin Islands it's 18. I got in trouble with my teacher for trying to order a drink. lol  (I was of age.....but as it was a school trip, no drinking was allowed)
