While We Were Away: Jailhouse Edition (Interest Check)

I'm posting this as an interest check at this time because I'm not sure I'll find enough players who want to flip the script and role-play evil characters who take advantage of a civilization-toppling event to break out of jail and wreak some mayhem on the world...

I'm picturing characters in this thread would likely be gangbangers, rapists, robbers, etc.  I don't want this to be Extreme, however (though I could picture it getting kind of intense as non-con will definitely play a prominent role), so no Hannibal Lecter types.
