Maybe I'm just misremembering, but I thought I saw the code to resize images (without uploading a manually resized one with the larger one) on Elluiki, and I can't find it any more...I was pretty sure it was somewhere on Elliquiy, but I can't seem to find it any more.

Does anyone know the code...or at least know where I might be able to find it?

And if I'm not making any sense, then essentially, there is (as far as I can remember) a code that shrinks an image to a specified size, so it can be used as a thumbnail or something  so you dont have to open the image in an editing program, change the size that way, save it as a different file, and then reupload it.

I'm not good at explaining. xD;

[[Image:FILE.NAME|thumb|right|250px|I'm a caption!]] is the typical syntax. I'm unsure if this can upscale images.

But would that work say, using the syntax you mentioned, so that I could create a thumbnail of an image that's on elluiki, but have the thumbnail on a thread, linking to the larger image?

If you want to resize images in the forums, you use the following syntax:

[image width=500px]http://imageurlhere.jpg[/image]

You can also height instead of width, or both at the same time. I'm unsure if percentages work, but I use the pixel-resizing all the time. Note that resizing generally makes your images look uglier. :-)
