Name:Lily "The Librarian"
Age: Early 20s
Gender: Female
Sexuality: It’s all good ;)
Character Type: Docebat
Skills
  • Persuasion There’s something about this her that makes people want the things she wants. Perhaps it’s just a mastery of language and skilled bargaining, but some would swear it’s her voice itself. In either case, both humans and their supernatural counterparts have a difficult time saying no to her requests.
  • Pleasant Presence Lily brings a sense of calm over the people around her, lifting those feeling low and balancing those who have a difficult time finding stability.
  • Known to many both supernatural and Docebat alike as “The Librarian”, Lily has an incredibly expansive and extensive knowledge of the supernatural. If you have a question, she’s almost certainly got an answer for you. Though… it’s not suggested that you ask her too much about herself.
Appearance:
The most striking features about Lily are obvious with a glance, a striking red mane against pale porcelain skin, lengthy creamy legs allow her to stand tall for a woman at 5’8”, her body thin but strong. Her eyes flicker a strange color that an individual might have a difficult time deciding on, a shade of green-blue that might not seem quite natural. Rarely found in pants, Lily is a fan of sundresses. Often jazzed up with several accessories, Lily is a fashionista, or at least she’d like to think so.

Personality:
Lily is a fairly quiet girl, keeping mostly to herself and preferring to watch people over interacting with them. Those who have spoken with her learn very quickly that she is incredibly quick witted and intelligent. Her diplomacy skills are incredibly high and it becomes apparent quickly that she is an old soul for her age. Often found with her nose buried in a book, Lily is the kind of girl that only a nerd would understand, but they’re all much too shy to speak to her. She’s gorgeous, but seduction doesn’t appear to be her focus - at least not at first glance.

Lucky for them, Lily’s quiet demeanor is not entirely an accurate reflection of who she is. A bold and forward individual when necessary, Lily is eager to speak her mind and debate opinions on topics of current politics or history. She knows the type of person that she likes and she’s not afraid to make the first move when she wants something. Though she much prefers to keep to herself, quiet with her books, Lily can be incredibly talkative and social with those she is close to. The most fatal mistake one might make with Lily is to underestimate her.

As is the case with most red-haired beauties, it is generally advised to stay on her good side. You don’t want to see the flames in this woman’s hair shift into her eyes. There’s only one thing left to do when that happens… run.

Backstory:
Lily’s background is something of a mystery. She keeps her cards very close to her chest, sharing little of her history with even those who come to know her well. She runs her own library in a sense, filled with documentation on the supernatural - books, parchment, scrolls, you name it - Lily’s got it. She’ll get you the information you need for a price, though many of her customers seem to arrive and leave with a smile on their face for entirely other purposes. Lily's prices deal in currencies of prices and vague favors to be called upon at her discretion, for a price never quite known. It’s unclear how she came to own all of the materials she does and Lily hasn’t yet volunteered that information to anyone willing to share it. For some time she’s been a valuable resource for both supernatural beings and humans wishing to find them.

Lily and Esme go way back, Lily having discovered Esme during a time that she was wild and losing herself to the beast inside. With some help Lily was able to bring her back, coax her to some peace within herself and help to create the Black Swamp Tavern. When not between the shelves of the library, she’s usually found at Black Swamp Tavern chatting with some regular friends, catching up or helping Esme out or getting to know new faces.

Lily has an obvious thirst for knowledge, a need to know people - who they are, what they are, where they’ve come from, why they’re here… perhaps what their weaknesses are. Lily is a very approachable young woman with a bright personality, though her voice is soft and quiet - demanding those who wish to speak to her listen closely to her words.

Character Ons/Offs:
Ons: Flirting/Seduction, Intelligence, Knowledge, Power, Looks, Lily will do near anything for the right price
Offs: Dim people, Dirt, Bathroom activities

The Librarian seems like a pretty interesting character, Saffron. I imagine that "Little Cat" has had some chats with her over the years; what do you think? I could see them enjoying a friendly battle of wits, carrying on carefully phrased meta-conversations, words hidden within words. The thing about words is that meanings can twist, just like a snake. Shed off the skin, see what lies below.

#78
Name: Khaendan Maeve Greyson
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Character Type: Docebat
Appearance: Lithe and willow, Khaendan possessed an almost ethereal quality to her, like she wasn't entirely human. Skin like ivory and long ebon locks made her look like a life-size porcelain doll. Her large, harlequin eyes speckled with flakes of gold were full of curiosity and if one peered closely, it would seem as if she was wise beyond her years. For those who have seen her bare back, she has a scar that stretches from her right shoulder to her left hip of claw marks. It is clearly a very old scar, but it is still very visible.
She had a unique sense of fashion, combining current trends with those of ages past. She favoured dresses, skirts with corsets, Victorian boots. For being so soft-spoken, she always made a statement with her choice of clothing.
Skills: Empath - Khaendan is extremely in tune with emotions, both her own and those around her. She has honed her empathic abilities to allow her to pick up subtle changes and nuances as well as shielding herself from extreme or large amounts of emotions.
True Sight - Khaendan was blessed with the gift of a second sight, so to speak. It's not something that is passively active; rather it is something that she must focus on to use. If Khaendan feels that there is something off about someone, she can focus on them for several moments and an aura around the subject reveals itself to her. This can reveal the type of motivations and such about a person or their actions.
Seamstress - Khaendan has studied fashion since she was young and taught herself how to craft clothing and costumes; she has crafted a good deal of her own wardrobe.
Personality: Khaendan is a shy, quiet, soft-spoken woman. She hardly has an unkind word for anyone and goes out of her way to help others, especially those less fortunate than her. However, do not mistake her kindness and quiet for weakness. She is not afraid to tell someone how she feels or to stand up for herself.
Khaendan is a bookworm and a scholar before anything else. She always has a book and a journal with her. She works at an occult and new-age bookstore, which gives her plenty of reading material. Besides reading, her main hobby is studying and researching the supernatural. She will spend hours upon hours in libraries and on the internet reading everything that she can about the supernatural, including different lore from around the world.
Backstory: At the age of six, Khaendan witnessed the brutal and grotesque murder of her entire family at the hands of a creature not of this world, a creature of nightmares. She too was on death's doorstep, until a divine intervention occurred. Well, divine is probably not the right term; more like a Kindred intervention. The wendigo that had massacred her family was being tracked and hunted by a vampire by the name of Tarquin Ashdown. He arrived in the nick of time, just as Khaendan was trying to outrun her attacker. Tarquin dealt with the wendigo swiftly, but not before he had ravaged Khaendan, shredding her nightgown and back. She blacked out from the terror and pain, not remembering Tarquin scooping her up in his arms and taking her from the home. The vampire saw something in the young girl that made him want to protect her and see to it that she survived; he could tell that she was no ordinary human and in time, his prediction would come to be correct.
Tarquin took the young girl in and raised her as his own in his home in the heart of the French Quarter. She was given only the best of everything growing up - private tutors rather than public schooling, music lessons in any instrument she desired, Tarquin taught her several foreign languages, and any hobby she showed interest in was supported - but this didn't spoil Khaendan. She developed a love of clothing after finding Tarquin's extensive closet of clothing from all of the eras he had lived through; of course at this point in time she believed that he just had an eclectic taste in clothing and liked the fashions of ages past. From that point on, she spent much of her free time studying fashion, costumes, clothing, and sewing. She chose to learn the violin and piano for music lessons and French and Italian for her foreign languages; she also picked up a good deal of Creole from her dealings with residents of New Orleans.
At the age of 16, Tarquin felt it was appropriate to tell Khaendan the truth about who he was and what had happened to her as a child. Surprisingly, she took it incredibly well; there was no fear of what he was or anger at him keeping the secret. Instead, Tarquin was met with a barrage of questions from the knowledge-thirsty Khaendan. She wanted to know everything he knew about his kind and the supernatural in general. She was a sponge soaking up every piece of knowledge she could get her hands on. And when Tarquin ran out of information, she turned to the internet and libraries to learn even more. It was also about this time that her gifts began to fully manifest. She had always known that she was different and that she felt emotions stronger than normal but she never knew why. As she got older, she brought it up to Tarquin and he was able to identify her as an empath. She was taught how to shield herself from other's emotions to prevent her from being overwhelmed and how to hone her skills to be able to pick up on changes of those around her. In addition to her empathic abilities, she stumbled upon something even more different and exciting - aura recognition. It wasn't something that she could always do, but if she focused on it, she was able to see the auras of those around her.
She attended school for massage therapy when she graduated and took several years in general studies, picking and choosing classes that caught her interest rather than going for an actual degree. She found a part-time job in a local bookstore for new-age and the occult. Between that and offering massages, she sill has enough time to travel and do her research.
Character Ons/Offs: Khaendan is very vanilla and naive. This isn't because of preference but because of experience. She has only even been with one man when she was in her early 20's. She has been on dates and such but it hasn't ever went past making out and petting. She is eager to please, to be in another relationship, and experience new things though even if those things may be of a darker nature.
"We are beings of starlight; we were meant to thrive in the darkness."
"I am a raging sea trapped inside of a raindrop."

Twisted iN Tux

#81
Name: Dr. Jackson Lee Hunt
Age: Born on February 19th, Jackson is Thirty-One
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Seemingly Gay, Suggestively Bi
Character Type: Docebat

Appearance: Ruggedly handsome with wavy jet-black hair, bright azure-blue eyes, and a neatly trimmed goatee, at six-foot-six and two hundred and forty-five pounds, Jackson certainly strikes a memorable image; however, for all his height and might, he manages to maintain a reserved quietness about himself, more often than not coming across as a gentle giant instead of a brutish behemoth, which he could so easily resort to given his impressive size and strength. Impeccably dressed at all times, even for the most casual of occasions, Jackson is often written off as a foppish metrosexual who seems to be far more interested in his outward appearance than anything of real substance, yet, get him speaking for more than a few minutes and he'll reveal, in a deep, Southern drawl - which is often infused with authentic wit and charm - that he's an individual far more interested in others than himself. Free of piercings and tattoos, Jackson rarely smokes - unless someone is offering up premium cigars - and only socially drinks, so his body has yet to show signs of unnecessary wear and tear.

Skills
  • Athletically Inclined: Growing up as the "tall one," essentially from the age of thirteen, and being naturally athletic instead of painfully awkward as most adolescents tend to be, Jackson often found himself taking the lead when it came to anything even remotely physical. As a result of this early childhood development, he continued to be a force to be reckoned with throughout most of his youth, dominating whatever field he played upon. Basketball, volleyball, track, hockey, and swimming were just a few of the sports that he not only played, but excelled at, so much so, he was approached by more than a few talent scouts, all of whom would have to be turned away for the sake of the family name. No child of the prestigious Hunt's was ever going to be caught dead pursuing such a lowly career!
  • Ivy League Educated: While many would consider Jackson a triple threat, what with him being smart, good-looking, and physically gifted, it would be his mind that would win the race in the end and truly define the successful man he would someday become. Recognized early on for his impressive intellectual aptitude, he was not only encouraged to pursue such endeavors above all else, but pointedly - and relentlessly - advised by his parents to make the most of this God-given talent. Embracing a similar path that his father followed before him, Jackson majored in business at Harvard University; however, just to put his own personal spin on things, he also studied medicine. So by the end of his five years, he managed to earn himself a duel degree.
  • Socially Savvy: Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Jackson was more or less thrust into an affluent world filled with countless cotillions and frequent fundraisers, as well as an overabundance of black tie affairs. Smart enough to know that each event was more or less a stepping stone towards something greater, the young man took every opportunity to not only perfect his etiquette and hone his social skills, but garner himself more than a few influential connections along the way. By the time he reached his mid-twenties, he was well on his way to becoming an upper echelon socialite, more than capable of holding his own among the crème de la crème of the South.

Personality: Refined almost to a fault, Jackson is what many would consider the personification of the stereotypical Southern gentleman. Well-spoken and mannered, it is rare - actually, virtually inconceivable - to find him in an unruly or unkempt state. To the average observer, he truly seems to have his entire act pulled neatly together; however, to those who know him more intimately or to those who have a sixth sense about such things, Jackson's calm, cool, and collected demeanor is slowly starting to unravel for reasons he much rather not discuss at this time, just know that he's not been the same since he started dabbling in Haitian Vodou.

Backstory: As the third eldest son of Hunter L. and Stephanie Erwin Hunt, Jackson was afforded the opportunity to focus more on being himself instead of being the heir - or spare, for that matter - apparent. That said, this didn't mean that his parents let him off easy, far from it, it just meant that they applied a little less pressure to their middle most child. Regretfully, this disproportionate attention managed to drive a wedge between him and his older brothers, partner this with Jackson's inability to ever do anything wrong - at least from their prejudiced point of view - and, well, an underlying layer of anger and resentment was inevitable among the three oldest siblings. Thankfully, Jackson still had his two younger brothers to turn to for emotional support, so the trio became steadfast allies in a family that wasn't above drawing lines when they felt threatened or when things simply weren't going their way.

Able to separate familial drama from the real world, Jackson naturally flourished both in social circles and at school. Regardless of what was ever happening on the home front, the young man managed to make the most of the numerous opportunities availed to him beyond the harrowing halls of Hunt Manor. As mandated by his parents, his focus remained chiefly on his academics, but this didn't keep him from dabbling in the countless athletic pursuits that brought him the most pleasure and joy. A wunderkind at juggling multiple responsibilities, Jackson made it all work to his advantage, just as he did with his growing - yet utterly false - reputation of being "light in the loafers."

By the time Jackson reached high school he had managed to pigeonhole himself as the class queer, an easy assumption seeing that he more or less "fit the bill." Thrilled that he had a scapegoat for having to spend any more time with the opposite sex than he needed to, he was able to focus on his studies and numerous extracurricular activities instead of allocating even a single moment to dating or, worse still, a girlfriend. Jackson simply didn't have such a thing slotted into his grand plan. There were only so many hours in the day and he just couldn't see himself wasting a minute on such trivial pursuits. When the time was right, he would open himself up to the possibilities, but not during the most critical years of his development. Contrary to the social norm, most of the guys in his class steered clear of harassing him seeing that he was not only the tallest, but the strongest within their ranks. Therefore, in the end, he was mostly left to his own devices, occasionally taking a break to squelch the advances of the brave young men who thought they had a chance with him.

Carrying this notion with him into his college years, Jackson remained true to his initial plan...or, at least he attempted to. Finding it a bit more challenging to remain focused on his heavy course load, as well as keep suitors of either sex at bay seeing that most of his unsupervised peers now had far more freedom to do and say whatever they wished, Jackson found himself seizing every opportunity to study abroad. His education was still his primary focus and he was willing to do whatever it took to achieve his goals, even if it meant putting himself in situations completely at odds with his current - admittedly pampered - way of life. The more distance he could place between himself and those who thought college was nothing but one long kegger the better.

Taking whatever opportunities were available - typically those nobody else would even dare consider - Jackson soon found himself studying in a variety of backwater hospitals and living within a number of unsavory hostels in Central America, Asia, and Europe. Exposed to a vast array of exotic cultures that were sometimes welcoming but oftentimes not, the determined American dug deep and pushed through each semester abroad. Such studies were meant to challenge the young man, after all, and to make him a far more empathetic global citizen; however, in the end, what he received was a series of eye-opening experiences that literally brought his fact-based reality to its knees. The defining moment would come during his time in Hamburg, Germany.

Receiving a patient who appeared to be nothing more than a malnourished teenage girl, the young doctor-to-be would come to learn - and reluctantly accept - that she was actually a newly born lycanthropic creature who had been separated from her pack pre-transition. Initially ignoring her pleas to be released, as well as her nonsensical ramblings about not being of this world, Jackson finally gave in once he had exhausted all other forms of treatment. It seemed that no matter what he tried, he simply could not satisfy her bestial hunger, so against his better judgment he set her free. Upon releasing her of her restraints, which had ironically been put in place for her safety, he bore witness to her true nature and stood by in stunned silence as she tore out the throat of his nursing assistant and then proceeded to ravage the remains until her hunger was satiated. Spared from a similar fate, for reasons he simply could not comprehend at the time - and doesn't entirely understand to this day - Jackson was free to return to his logical, albeit mundane, world; however, clearly everything had changed as a result of this horrific event.

The world as he once knew it no longer existed. Humans weren't the only highly evolved species on the planet. There were others, many others he would soon come to learn - such as the diminutive Aluxo'ob of Guatemala, the beautiful Merfolk of Syria, and the noble Tigress of Bangladesh, just to name a few - who walked upon God's green earth. Now that his eyes and mind were truly open to the endless possibilities, there was no going back. He had to know more about each and every one of them, but such research would have to be done in a mutually beneficial way, as well as in a methodical and respectful manner. It would be poor planning on his part to continue roaming around the planet halfcocked. He needed to settle down and set up shop, and where better to do that than in the reliably strange yet undoubtedly seductive city of New Orleans? If any place could serve as a supernatural nexus it would be The Big Easy, this much Jackson was certain of.

Little did he know, all those years ago, upon setting up his private practice, just how right he would come to be!

Character Ons/Offs: Very similar to my own, which is very open to the point of being limitless, especially when it comes to anything of a sexual nature. The only thing that begins to bother me, even just a little, is when my character is asked to harm or kill a defenseless - and I stress the word defenseless - woman, child or animal for no apparent reason. Senseless brutality against these three character types is just not my thing. I'll fade to black long before I'll ever explore such things. Violence against other men? Sure! Violence against supernatural beings who are trying to slaughter my character? You bet! But never against those who cannot protect or defend themselves accordingly. Feel free to PM me for further clarification on the subject.

BitterSweet

Approved character!

Name: Leo, Old Man, and “Ugh! What’s that smell?”
Age: Old
Gender: Male
Sexuality: At his age ... anyone who’ll have him.
Character Type: Docebat
Appearance: Tall, dark haired but never handsome.  A haggard face, lank curly hair, cigarette stained teeth and fingers complete the picture.  He wears a ragged coat year round, and a stained and battered fedora of unknown age and provenance.  Usually hunched on a street corner, when standing tall he looms over most everyone and has long, powerful arms.  His eyes are dark, with the look of man who's seen too much, and still sees too much.  Perhaps the drink is for that, perhaps he’s just another street bum.  He has horrifically terrible table manners.
Skills: Unexpectedly Strong: for a guy who looks like he’s on his last legs, Leo has a grip like a vice and punch like a sledgehammer.  Those knuckles are scarred with use and he can take a punch as well as give it.
Gossip: Leo knows things.  Generally things good folks want to keep secret - want to know where that prissy Priest in the white painted church indulges his sin?  Ask Leo.  Want to know who's beating his wife - and which wife is conspiring with her lover?  Ask Leo.  He doesn’t know the secrets of city hall, or the names of celebrities but the places where the shadows meet the streets are familiar to him.  Information isn’t free though, it might cost a bottle of cheap booze, or information in return, or - sometimes - darker things.
Lurking: No one pays attention to street trash and Leo’s made his way with that. He seems able to squeeze himself into scraps of shadow, the angles of a corner, or huddle like another pile of trash on the street and when he doesn’t want to be seen, it’s damn hard to lay eyes on him.
Personality: Grumpy, sharp witted and persistent - all traits that anyone who lives on the streets needs to survive.  Leo’s a loner, mostly, though sometimes he (in his mind, anyway) hits it off with someone and turns up at their elbow at sometimes very inconvenient times.  Few things seem to scare him, or even surprise him and there are moments when he’ll say something or do something that reveals a depth of thought no one would expect from someone like him.  Then he belches the alphabet.
Backstory: Leo’s been on the streets for as long as he remembers.  He knows he had ... family, he supposes, and perhaps they had names but what were they?  He has a territory of sorts, that encompasses the mission he sleeps in sometimes, and the streets around the ferry.  Get him drunk enough and he remembers (he claims) the smell of blood from the slaughterhouse, and the way bodies of the slaves held on Algiers were dumped in the river.  Of course that was long ago and nothing but the imagination of a drunkard.

Leo can sometimes be found around, near or even sometimes in Lily’s ‘library’, evidently she has a soft heart for the old man, or at least tolerates him.  She tells him stories and he’s told her a tale or two, over the years.
Character Ons/Offs:  Seriously?  Pretty sure it won’t matter.  If someone wants to surprise me, feel free to send me a PM and we can ... discuss it.

Alright, so this question has been asked a few times so we'll just be putting it right up on here as a notice to everyone:

Shapeshifting supernatural creatures who are able to shift into other people are not allowed. We had actually been debating on an NPC with this ability for quite a while but ultimately decided that it's simply too OP even for us as GMs.

However, supernatural creatures who are able to shift into animals and such are totally okay. :-)

#88
Name: Ravenna Sinclaire
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance: Ravenna stands at about 5 feet and 4 inches with a weight of approximately 125 lbs. Long hair black as ebony hangs down the center of her back, her creamy unblemished skin like fresh milk and eyes as pale blue as a January morning sky. Her Grandmother liked to affectionately call her Snow White.
Sexuality:Heterosexual
~Ons: Vanilla, romance, oral (giving and receiving), Dominant males (men that know what they want and are not afraid to reach for it) and wearing lingerie for her special someone. Ask if curious about anything unlisted.

~Offs: S and M, vore, bathroom play, anal and rude bedroom talk. Ask if curious about anything unlisted.

Character Type: Docebat

Skills:
  • Precognition Ravenna can catch glimpses of the future, but she cannot control what she sees, when she sees it or anything, they happen when they happen regardless if she is prepared or not. (Any visions had would be presented to GMs first before occuring).
  • Clairvoyance Ravenna can touch an object previously involved in an incident that was charged with powerful emotional residual energy (positive or negative) and see the history the object was involved in play out in her head, like watching a movie.
  • Spellcasting Ravenna is knowledgeable is a great deal of defensive magic, she knows a few offensive spells, but most of it is defense based. A much more skilled caster than herself could surely break through most of her spells though.

Appearance:

Personality: Ravenna has a very good natured and out going personality, she's very friendly, bubbly and optimistic... but do not think for a second that she cannot become extremely scary when the need arises... it takes a lot to push Ravenna to that darker side of herself, but it's not to be taken lightly when achieved, the sweetest people can be the darkest.

Backstory:

To start, we'll have to go back to Ravenna's parents... Jean-Luc and Henrietta Sinclaire... and their tragic demise.
Jean-Luc was abandoned as a baby on the doorstep on a voodoo high priestess by the name of Madame Darla Sinclaire and she, while unable to have children, fell head over heels for the baby the moment she saw him, she immediately legally adopting him as her son. She raised her new son with powerful love and adoration, teaching him everything she knew about her craft, hoping one day he would become a high priest in her footsteps.
Jean-Luc grew to become a very talented warlock and it was at a Wicca and Voodoo practitioner gathering in New Orleans that he met Herietta... the most amazing, wonderful, beautiful and funny witch he'd ever met in his life, the two immediately began dating until they eventually ultimately decided to get married... resulting in the birth of of a darling little girl they named Ravenna.

It seems though that when life takes a turn for the happiest, that is when it all comes crumbling down...

After Henrietta was feeling better, Darla volunteered to babysit her newborn granddaughter, so the two new parents could go out on the town to celebrate their joy over the new addition to their family... but when Darla arrived... she first found her beloved son on the living room floor... his eyes glassy and open wide with horror and his throat torn out...
Panicked, Darla rushed into the nursery to find Henrietta in much the same condition as Jean-Luc, it looked as though Henrietta was rushing to protect her daughter when she'd been caught and murdered... by what most certainly looked like the work of a vampire...
When Darla approached her granddaughter's crib, baby Ravenna was safely sleeping soundly within, she found a sticky note stuck to the railing as well, it read... 'This is what happens when you can't keep your nose out of where it belongs, witch! Mess with us again and we'll be back for the girl, you have been warned!'

After raising her granddaughter for the last twenty one years, Darla still has not had the strength to talk about it, even though Ravenna has asked her more than a few times to tell her what happened, but Darla always simply told her that it would be far more dangerous to her if she knew the whole truth than if she kept her in the dark for the rest of her life... Darla always knew that if Ravenna knew too much and began poking around, she would lose her precious granddaughter just like she lost her beloved son... she just couldn't bare that...
Somehow though, in some way... Darla vowed she would avenge her son and his wife... one day...

Speeding up to present time, over the past few months since Ravenna turned twenty one, she has been working as a waitress as an establishment called The Black Swamp Tavern thanks to her grandmother being friends with the owner, unfortunately though... there was to be more tragedy in the life of Ravenna Sinclaire...
Upon returning home from work one evening, Ravenna entered her grandmother's home only to have her heart shattered into a thousand tiny pieces... as she watched her grandmother's lifeless body dangling from a rope around her neck in the foyer... a envelope safety pinned to the hem of the old woman's skirt with Ravenna's name scribbled across the front...

'Your dear old Granny really didn't listen all too well, did she? We were going to punish her by killing you, but you just grew up so pretty, it really would be such a waste to just kill you... so we decided your Granny had lived long enough and we'd see an end put to her meddling. You just be a good girl now, little Ravenna, otherwise you'll wind up just the same as your dear parents and your old Granny. Consider it a personal favor that we didn't leave her in the same mess as your parents...'

There was no name signed to the heartless letter worded as if it was something so casual... no name for her to hunt down... there were no images in her head no matter what she touched that was anywhere near her grandmother's body... no visions to give her any hints...
So the broken hearted young girl did all she could do, she got her grandmother down from the rope, placed her peacefully in her bed and then hauled ass back to the The Black Swamp Tavern, she figured if there was anyone she could trust right now, it was her grandmother's friend Esme...
One thing was certain in this young woman's heart... her parents were ripped from her before she was old enough to remember them... now her grandmother had been taken from her too...

She wanted revenge.

Taking me a while to put my sheet together, but I'd like to face claim Tom Hiddleston if he isn't taken.

May or may not follow this one too. 'Cause Pace. ♡

Also, I'm totally loving that Aorangi3 is using Val Kilmer, because who doesn't love a good old fashioned Southern gentleman!
