Sorry it took me so long, been dying sick the last few days. But here we go!

Name: Ferrus Cadarius
Species: Turian
Age: 31
Class: Vanguard, specialised training as a Shocktrooper.
Training: Weapons, tactical armour and combat training, Vanguard/Shocktrooper level Biotic Training.
Weapon: Fully Equipped, carries on his person a pistol, shotgun, assault & a sniper rifle.
Appearance: Ferrus is a tall Turian, with white facial tattoo's that signify his homeworld, not that anyone from outside his species would be able to tell their precise meaning, without asking him or doing research into Turian Tattoo's. His long military service has left with a very physically fit body, which has caught the attention of several ladies on worlds he's been posted to.

Background: Born on Palavan, the Turian homeworld, Ferrus had a typical upbringing and was placed into military service, like all Turian's, at age 15. Once his required service was complete, he decided to continue a military role, feeling it felt "correct" to be protecting the common person. While it is an uncommon trait amongst Turian's, Ferrus decided to take in Biotic implants, a decision inspired by seeing a group of humans devastate enemy forces with their abilities.

It was at this point Ferrus started training as a Vanguard, a role in which he performed with immense success, combined with his expert training in combat he was a natural choice to recieve Shocktrooper training, and while Vanguards are generally not trained in Assault or Sniper Rifles, his standard Military service left him capable of using both.

After seven years of military service as a Shocktrooper, Ferrus continued to perform above and beyond the general call to duty. He has recently been assigned to the SSV Anchorage.

Technically Aleesha would fall under a classification of engineer + Barrier skill, as if she'd completed the game achievement of using barrier 75 times, and then restarted with a new character Aleesha.  Although she's biotic her low talent for biotics lead her to follow engineering skills instead of pursuing her biotics.
If the universe is infinite, and there are an infinite number of universes that could exist, there must be by definition of the world infinite, an infinite number of worlds, and possibilities out there, and somewhere our lives played out with no regrets, fears, or discomfort.  If only that worked in practice....

I got the PM to play so I assume I am still in so here is my char.

Name: Jason Peterson

Species: Human

Age: 29

Class: Infiltrator, specialised training as a Sniper Commando.

Training: Pistols, Sniper rifles, Electronics, Decryption, Tactical Armor

Rank: Jason moved up into the ranks because of his non-combat skills but when it was found that he was an exceptional shooter he was given his gun back and told to go shoot things. He is a Service Chief.

Weapon: A Karpov VIII Pistol and a HMWSK VII sniper rifle.

Armor:Black Titan VI armor

Appearance: Six foot tall red hair Green eyes. He is more on the lean and kind of lanky side but it serves him well when he need to climb to sniping spots or get under things.

Personality: He loves doing four things Sniping, Drinking, Hacking, and Girls. Surprisingly quiet at first and then bam you have a great friend for life who cant seem to shut up.

Background: There is not much to say he was born into a military family and strived his whole life to make his father proud. Even though he is a great marks men his father insists that he is not a real soldier. He claims that "Hiding in the shadows and unlocking doors to sneak around is not what a soldier does!" Jason has since given up on the hope that one day he would be good enough and now he just lives day by day assignment by assignment.
Jason has not received any special awards but he has been recognized on a few occasions for bravery and quick thinking in tight situations. He claims that he will not die in combat but that he will die old and drinking. Only time will see how that one goes.

Are we just putting Systems Alliance ranks right next to the US Army's ranks? Has in the very bottom of the Systems Alliance is the same as the very bottom of The Army's? If so I should change my rank a step down to Service Chief.

The issue exists that the Systems Alliance has 6 enlisted ranks next to the US Army having 9 (E-1 to E-9). What makes it complicated is that there is a massive difference between a First Sergeant(E-8) and a Master Sergeant(also E-8), and the same with the Marine Corps. Similar pay grades with different responsibilties and very few varieties in rank.

The best I can assume, since we are using Systems Alliance ranks, is they are infact Marine Corps ranks, since most Alliance soldiers are classified as Marines(Operating in direct action with the Navy). To my best, the Servicemen ranks are simple, Private, Lance Corporal and Corporal, respectively.

As for the Chiefs, the Navy has Chiefs but not the Marines. In comparison, I believe the Service Chief would be a Sergeant, Gunnery Chief would be either be the E-7 Gunnery Sergeant or, as I believe, one of the E-8 Sergeants, First Sergeant or Master Sergeant. And finally the 'Chief', I dubbed it Operations Chief to give it some actual structure, seems to be Master Gunnery Sergeant or Sergeant Major.

Andraste's flaming sword! I know where babies come from!

OK following that then I still moved my char's rank down to a Service Chief...
