So this concept is based off of a story I read online and unfortunately can no longer find.  (I would love to give credit where credit is due if anyone knows of this story).

Sentinel City

Location: Sentinel City, a high-tech futuristic metropolis and home to nine million inhabitants.  It is the world’s leader in advanced technology with many leading research facilities and world renowned Universities harbored within the city’s limits.  As a result of this level of technology, the city is nearly pollution free.  Sentinel City is very close to an utopia, if you can ignore the overpopulation of the supernaturally enhanced beings that use the city as their own sandbox.

However, this has not deterred the citizens of Sentinel City, a resilient and highly adaptable group of people.  In fact, the bestselling book within the city is “How to Survive life in Sentinel City” a thorough guide on how to adapt and adjust to the chaotic and often unpredictable happenings within the metropolis.

Characters:  Player characters will begin the game as normal, everyday citizens going through their daily routine.  An in game event will result in transforming your character into the opposite gender, and a side effect of this transformation will be that the character develops super powers.  The characters must adjust to their new bodies as well as their new powers.  They will be guided by their helpful, individualized and interactive copies of “How to Survive Life in Sentinel City”, and the omnipotent and mysterious ACME company that specializes in equipment and clothing for supernatural beings of every persuasion.

Mood: A very light, comical, and amusing atmosphere where nearly anything is possible and the characters are oddly capable of accepting and moving on, no matter what they encounter.  Ideally we’ll be poking fun of a bunch of different tropes along the way, including (but not limited to) superhero tropes, female/male tropes, gender bending tropes, and fantasy world tropes.

It will be a freestyle, sandbox game with the majority of the story centered on the group of characters and their individual reactions to the changes in their gender as well as their superpowers.  It is open to both heroes and villains.  PvP scenes will be decided between the two players in OOC or PMs.  No Drama, God-modding, or Meta-gaming please.  The game will likely be hosted in the small games, NC: Exotic thread.

Looking for 5-8 players who would be interested in this game, and possibly a few people willing to run NPCs.

Character Sheet:

Name: Your character’s name?
Alias: Your character’s alter ego?
Alignment: Hero or Villain?
Prior Occupation: What did your character do before s/he got super powers?
Personality: Describe your character’s personality (1 paragraph please)
Appearance: Describe how your character looks.  Pictures are welcome, but please add a written description as well.
History: Just a few short paragraphs about your character prior to gaining powers.
Super powers: Keep this balanced.  No overpowered characters.  If you have unique ideas feel free to run it by me in PM.
Weaknesses: Try to give your character a couple weaknesses related to their powers.  Such as somebody who can fly being afraid of heights, or a person who can manipulate shadows being afraid of the dark.  If you can’t think of anything, you can leave this blank and we can work on it together.
Player’s Ons:
Playre’s Offs:

I would be willing to give it a shot! I will start figuring out a character. What limitations were you thinking as far as powers go?

AribethAmkiir

Pretty much anything.  Try to make your character balanced.  The wackier the better, but also realize that you shouldn't have complete control of your power from the very beginning.  Some references could be The Tick, Mystery Men, or Superhero, Inc.

Downfall347

Alright, and are you looking for a character profile or are we getting character descriptions and the like in game as it progresses?

AribethAmkiir

Just looking for interest right now.  If there's enough interest I'll make up a character sheet.

Laughing Hyena

Much as I prefer the superhero genre I have a PM request for you Ari.

Caitlin

At first I wasn't really sure what to think of this, but as you already knew I was interested in a super hero game Ari. ;D

I'm still not sure about the gender bender part, but I have to admit; it does sound like fun. What kind of posting frequency do you expect of people? Next to the other game I'm in I don't think that I could handle posting more than once a day at most, especially if our zombie apocalypse really takes off.

I'm also not sure if I would want to go from male to woman or from woman to male... Although I am getting a couple of interesting ideas now for the character... ;)

A character sheet would be nice though! Would you want us to fill in a biography as well, or can we do without?

For now please note me as interested, though I can't promise for sure yet that I'll join. It'll really depend on how busy I'll be with GMing our other game. (I hope to get that more clear the coming days, with the current waiting I easily have time for another game, but if things really pick up then I don't want to commit to a game that I can't see through.)

One more question; do the super villains (have to) die in the story, or do they have a reasonable chance of staying alive? I have some interesting ideas for a super power for a hero, but perhaps playing a villain would be more entertaining. Not to mention, most people will probably play hero already and you'll need some bad guys to beat up too. (Just not the face please!) :P

Ps. The hyperlink to your picture is broken, you need to fix that code a little bit.

Roxy Rocket

The Tick is a good model. Superheroes are weirdos, lots of exceptionally normal people are around giving the wacky comedy routine a "straight man" as all wacky comedy routines need.

*Taps her lips in contemp-a-lation.*

I think this is a job for mild-mannered-aspiring-journalist-just-arrived-in-the-city-girl.

-snicker-

You just gave me a really good idea for a character personality, one that would defintely be fun to read and write about. ;D

AribethAmkiir

@ Caitlin: Post frequency would be preferably one every two to three days.  And no super villains don't have to die.  In fact, they'd be encouraged to live.  Part of the trope we'd be toying with is why villains always return no matter how many times they lose.  The one villain you were telling me about last week would actually work well here, Caitlin.

Also, a note.  If too many people are bothered by the gender bending or don't want to participate, than we could make it optional.

Caitlin

I would prefer to leave the gender bending out yes, but at the same time; it offers such a great potential for a storyline. I also think that as an author I should be able to take on any role and I'm always up for a challenge.

For this character I was thinking of a scrawny white-collar guy with an obession for gadgets that have blinking lights. He's also obessed about bedding a woman, but isn't having any luck at that.

After the transformation he would turn into a gorgeous woman, who constantly gets hit on by men, while he's lesbian himself, though I'll add in some bi-curiosity for the fun of it. She'll also still have trouble finding a partner due to her obessive personality. The obession for blinking lights will remain and will probably cause several humerous plots with all sorts of evil schemes that involve pretty lights.

For super power I was thinking of having her being very flexible/ agile and light. The flexibility would allow my character to avoid getting hit, even though she's not very strong herself. She'd be slightly faster than normal humans, but it wouldn't be like the super speed that the Flash has, more like the super speed of martial artists. As far as being light goes; she'd be falling down like a leaf, so rather than leaving an impression in the ground my character could fall of a building and land several minutes later safely on the ground, after slowly floating down. (This might actually be more of a disadvantage than advantage, since she'll be pretty vulnerable while floating down.)

On top of that I'll add the craziness that I described in an earlier pm. ;)

How would that be for a character? :P

I think that posting once every 2 - 3 days would be okay. This game would be more something fun to write about as a distraction than a full time commitment like or other game. ^_^

AribethAmkiir

Yeah, it's meant to be something light and fun to get away from some of the more intense games you may be playing or just a simple distraction from everyday RL grind.

That character has a lot of possibilities.  I've added a character sheet on the first post.  Feel free to start making characters.

Caitlin

Name: Alan Clarkson (Ellen Clarkson after the accident)
Alias: Illumina
Alignment: Villain
Prior Occupation: Tax inspector
Personality: Illumina is an arrogant, quirky, obsessive, inquisitive, clumsy and dominant woman. She loves gadgets, especially if they produce light and she also has a big love for creating new weapons.
Appearance: See pictures. Her uniform consists out of a tight black latex suit and a cat mask, which comes with night vision glasses that allow Illumina to see in the dark. The night vision doesn't function when it's completely dark, just like regular night vision goggles.
History:
Alan was a tax inspector, a job that he absolutely hated, because it caused him to be very hated. At the same time it did give him a certain power over people, which was something he absolutely loved, even if it effectively killed his chances to find a date. This hate/ love relationship with his work, combined with his obsession for gadgets that had shiny lights, had turned him into one very disarranged human-being. Alan didn't have any friends and even his colleagues tended to shy away from him.

In his cubicle Alan was often found muttering to himself, sometimes lashing out unexpectedly and often bragging about how he would strike a fortune with his latest invention, which was another weird thing about Alan. Apart from his job he only had one activity; inventing new gadgets that would emit lights and have strange effects. His gadgets more often than not turned into a failure, occasionally even blowing up, but despite the accidents he persisted and had come up with several wonderful devices already, among which were several lethal weapons.

Or at least, they would have been lethal if he had the funds to purchase some quality power cells that would really allow him to draw the full potential out of his devices. Instead he had to work with third rate junk, half of which came from the junkyard and didn't even work. The other half was purchased in thrift stores from his meagre salary, of which he spent all on his hobby, his passion, his destiny! (He always did have to cackle when he thought about the future.)

One of the most recent things he worked on was a type of goggles which he hoped would allow him to see through walls, so he could spy on his sexy neighbor. In the past she had called him a creep, sprayed him with pepperspray (the pain!), kicked him against the knee and sent her bodybuilding boyfriend after him to beat him up, but still, he knew she'd change her mind someday and would be his! His latest gadget would surely help him to win her heart, although he wasn't sure yet how spying on her would aid in that, but he'd figure it out somehow.

(I'll describe the info after the incident when it really happens, it kills the story if I write everything down already.) ;)
Super powers:
- Illumina is very flexible and agile, which allows her to prevent getting hit quite easily.
- She's also very light and can float of a building, rather than fall down. Illumina has no offensive powers, but will use gadgets as weapons to fight with. Her agility also allows her to fight effectively with steel claws. (A bit like Wolverine, but then she has to put them on as gloves.)
- Good with technology, especially when it involves shiny lights.
Weaknesses:
- The flexibility and agility is mostly good to avoid attacks and only minimally helps with performing attacks. She's fast, but only as fast as the fastest normal humans.
- The floating down takes a long time, during which Illumina is vulnerable to attacks. The wind plays a big role in where she'll fly to and only when it's windstill she can somewhat decide her path, but will still mostly float downwards.
- Illumina isn't very strong and possesses below average strength.
- Without gadgets she doesn't have anything in offensive capabilities.
- Is very easily distracted by shiny lights.
- Looses her temper when shiny lights get destroyed and will mourn their loss.
- Is afraid of the dark.
Player’s Ons: Too many to name, probably best to check my Ons & Offs.
Playre’s Offs: All vore related things, everything related to the bathroom, being dominated (depending on the situation I can make an exception for this).

There is a small bug in the character sheet, Player Ons:]/b] (should be )

Caitlin

I hope you like my character, I don't think she's overpowered at all and has a good balance. Perhaps for a super villain she might even be a bit underpowered. ;)

Generally the super villains get to fight multiple heroes at the same time and are generally (a bit) stronger than individual super heroes so they stand a chance against a combined team, but I think this set up works well. :P

Arioch

OK, this seems like a lot of potential fun.  Going to work up a character idea.

Foxy DeVille

Ooooo.... this could be fun. I had been thinking about starting a light-hearted supers game so this really appeals to me. For my character I played with the concept a bit, if that's all right. She was already a vigilante before she was transformed so know she has to deal with that. Kind of like if Batman discovered he suddenly looked like Catwoman...

Name: Nicolas "Nikki" Knight
Alias: Nightlord
Alignment: Hero
Prior Occupation: Attorney and vigilante
Personality: Nightlord has a strong sense of justice. She takes herself very seriously and considers crimefighting to be a sacred duty. Nightlord tries to take recent changes in stride but is having some trouble adjusting. For one thing, evil-doers aren't as easily intimated now that the vigilante is a short and busty woman. For another, her libido seems to have been amplified since becoming a woman. Word of warning, she hates being called "Nightlady."
Appearance: Nikki Knight is an attractive redhead with killer curves. She usually dresses in conservative business attire.

As Nightlord she wears a tight black latex outfit. When she was male this showed off her impressive physique. As a woman, it still does but just not in the way she had in mind. To make matters worse, the zipper tends to break on the top at the most inopportune times.

As both Nikki and Nightlord she wears heels to try to hide the fact she stands only five foot two now. She also wears tinted glass nearly all the time.
History: Nicolas Knight is a native of Sentinal City and was raised by parents who instilled strong values in him. In high school he was a superb athlete, something that helped him get a college scholarship. It was in college that he met his best friend Derek Dayton. Both young men decided to become lawyers and did well in law school. Nicolas became a criminal defense attorney, believing all accused had the right to proper legal representation. His pal Derek joined him and the two started a law firm, Knight and Dayton. Nicolas was the trial lawyer while Derek handle the business end of things.

Nicolas was pleased to be able to help the innocent but he frequently found himself helping the guilty go free as well. He felt remorse about this and tried to make up for it by taking pro bono cases. But this did nothing for his conscience. Derek, a womanizing playboy, didn't share such qualms and only wanted to be sure the money kept tolling in. And it did, Knight and Dayton were soon the most in demand firm in the city. This only made Nicolas feel more guilty. But he still did his job to the best of his ability because he still believed all deserved the same rights.

With his ethics keeping Nicolas Knight from hindering the guilty, he decided to become someone else with no such boundaries.  Nightlord appeared on the Sentinel City streets to punish those who had escaped Lady Justice. Criminals began to fear the night, for it was no longer ruled by them.
Super powers: Nightlord has superhumanly keen vision and can see in the dark. In additions she has some low level mental abilities. A form of clairvoyance acts like "x-ray vision" and she can see through solid objects. Nightlord can also send out a telepathic suggestion that causes others to ignore her presence, making her effectively invisible.
Weaknesses: Nightlord's superhuman eyes are very sensitive to light, hence wearing tinted glasses. In addition, her clairvoyance and telepathic suggestions sometimes flare up on their own, causing her to see things she wasn't planning on or vanish against her will.
Player’s Ons: Anal, breast torture, incest, public humiliation, watersports
Player Offs: Scat, vore

Arioch

Here is a woman that changed into a man.

Name: Patricia "Pat" Weber
Alias: Shadow Stalker
Alignment: Villain
Prior Occupation: Mafia Money Launderer

Personality: Patricia used to be a flirtatious, fun woman. Since the transformation Pat has become bitter and has a short temper and uses a sarcastic sense of humor to try to get under other peoples skin.
Appearance: Pat stands at 5'11" and looks like an athlete. Dark hair hangs down to his shoulders and is always combed neatly.  He also has a fashion sense and buys clothing in the latest styles. In costume he normally wears a balaclava with a skull painted on it and carries to pistols.
History: Patricia had always been part of the wrong crowd. Early on she started dating the 'bad boys' and then got involved with even more sinister people. After high school, she moved out of her parents home and started working in her boyfriend's father's strip club. There, she was approached with helping the family out. All she had to do was take some extra money with her each night, deposit it and then write a check back to the owner. She was allowed to keep a percentage. This didn't bother her and she was happy to make the extra money.
Super powers: Shadow Teleports: Teleports between shadows that can be seen. This is almost an instantaneous movement. This ability also lets him move through walls as long as there is a window he can see through.
Weaknesses: The teleport power doesn't work in complete darkness, like a cave. Since the transformation, Pat is sensitive to loud music. After only a few seconds he begins to develop a headache and a few minutes will make him practically go crazy.
Player’s Ons: Numerous
Playre’s Offs: Vore, scat, ask to be safe.

Hnnn... Is it possible to play a shapeshifter? One that can flit between genders with but a thought?

You are the second person to ask this, and I haven't quite decided yet.

Major Major

I just thought I'd ask since I was unsure if the Event permenantly flips our character's gender, or just when they're in their Superhero/Supervillain persona?

AribethAmkiir

The original thought was to have it permanently switch the character's gender.  The city is a place where anything can happen, so returning to your original gender is theoretically possible, as is a shape shifter who can control their gender at will.  The major reason for the game is to have fun and silly.  If you can give me a character that promises to fit into the light, zany, and whimsical mold, I'm likely going to approve it.

Major Major

I think I got an idea just this very second. Let me dash it off on paper, thne I'll show it to you.

Caitlin

A permanent flip would probably be more fun. It's sort of cheating the plot if you can return to your original self otherwise. In theory, you would/ should also lose your super powers after switching back, since the side effect of having them in the first place was the gender change. ;)

Personally I think it's either to only have gender switches, or no gender switch at all. I don't think I'll be referencing a whole lot to my gender change though, but only put some male charactaristics in my character. To name one of them; the first thing any guy would do if he changed into a woman is to lock himself (/herself) up in the bedroom and explore the new goodies. Yes, men are simple-minded like that. :P

Major Major

It's a little bare bones at the moment, but I'll work on it some more. With thanks to Caitlin for helping me resize them.

Name: Shannon Castle

Alias: Trickshot

Alignment: Hero

Prior Occupation: Night security guard at a carpark

Personality: Shannon's personality before and after the Event are as different as night and day. Prior to the Event, he was a gruff, no-nonsense loner, who preferred solitude to crowds and above all loved to read. After the Event, Trickshot is a sunny and openly affectionate (some would say slutty) party-girl, who loves 'pressing the flesh'.

Appearance:
Trickshot has dark reddish-brown hair that she wears loose and reaches to between her shoulderblades. Her eyes are heterochromiaic; the left is blue, the right is grey. Her costume consists of assless black riding chaps with tall cowboy boots, a black stetson, and a black leather duster, under which she wears a black thong and bra. She also wears a gunbelt with two holstered Colt Single Action Army revolvers.

History: Shannon Castle was born 'many years ago'- deliberately being vague on his age- on a New Age commune, surrounded by Free Love hippies and Anti-Nuclear Feminists. As is so often with kids, as a teenager, he rebelled against the counter-culture, and rather ironically became part of the Mainstream; short hair, sensible clothing, even training to become a police officer, before a routine background check of his family lead to him being removed from the police training school. He was left slightly bitter about the whole thing, so sought out employment that would keep him away from people in general. Working as a Night watchman at a carpark suited him down to the ground, as it allowed him to indulge in his love of Western novels in peace.

Super powers: Trickshot has a low-level psychic ability to mentally stun a target by aiming one of her revolvers at them and 'shooting' them with it.

Weaknesses: 1. Trickshot needs to use those specific pistols to use her superpowers, so having the guns taken from her leaves her helpless.
2. She needs a clear line of shot to use her powers.

Player’s Ons: Pretty much anything not mentioned in the 'offs' section. Ask to be certain though.

Player’s Offs: Scat, ws, guro, hard bondage, torture. Again, ask.

Caitlin

You're welcome. ^_^

It looks much better like this yes. Your question also caused me to look into more of the forum codes hehe, there is a lot more possible than the basic options we get.

I wonder if these codes work on all forums, or if it works specifically on E. It'll be interesting to test that out some time.

Caitlin

-snicker-

I added 'clusmy' as a personality trait to Illumina. I just need to fix my character's history and then it's all done.

AribethAmkiir

So far the characters look pretty good.

@Arioch: Probably change your superpower to "Shadow Teleportation".

Probably wait for a few more players to submit characters before we begin.

Caitlin

I suppose I better write a history for my character as well then. I prefer to keep the description short though and I'll add more during the roleplay itself. :-)

To be honest, I hadn't even given it a lot of thought yet. I think I'll also change my character's surname.

My friend died last year.  I've been searching my memories about the story.  Did it involve "Lady Lightning", a guy who's power suit slowly changed his gender?

Sorry to hear about your friend.

Possibly.  She went nuts and decided that all males needed to be turned into females.  Two of the "passer-bye" who get gender swapped end up stopping her and that's how they begin to be super heroines.  The details are kind of vague, but it was an enjoyable read.

You could do both, 1 player character and then some NPCs that make an occasional appearance?

I've also added my character's history. I think it makes a good story for a typical villain. I added some motivations and described how he doesn't exactly fit in a normal society, so once he gets his lab and funds he'll be all settled for world domination! ;D

Major Major

Added some history to Shannon; still unsure on the codename though. Anyone got any better suggestions than Trickshot?

AribethAmkiir

I think Trickshot is both unique and appropriate.  You could do something silly like Stunner or something, but Trickshot works.

Caitlin

I really like Trickshot well and I thought it was well choosen. It sums up your character in the best way possible and I can't think of anything better. :-)

Here's what I have so far.  Working on her appearance:

Name: Jeremy/Jenny Sandoval

Alias: Jericho

Alignment: Hero

Prior Occupation:  Rock and Roll performer, retired.  Vietnam War Veteran (Distinguished Service Medal, Purple heart.)

Personality:  Jenny has come to enjoy her restored youth and accepted—if not become accustomed too—her new gender.  She can be grumpy, insightful, and opinionated.  She isn’t afraid to argue religion or politics.  She’s been a hippy and a soldier.  She appreciates the creative possibilities modern computing opens.
She’s rather disillusioned with the rolls available to her as a rocker.  She finds girl bands ineloquent and most singers considered ‘deep’ to be philosophically juvenile.  She enjoys dancing at lesbian clubs and playing her guitar with music students at the university.

Appearance:

History: Jeremy Sandoval was a long time fixture on the rock and roll scene.  Never a mega star, but with a devoted following that spanned generations, he had staying power.  Compared favorable to Rush's Gheti Lee, he composed and performed insightful popular music over a forty year career before throat cancer stole his voice.

Though he was seventy, Jeremy hadn't survived Vietnam, chemotherapy, and disco to live out his last years partially mute.  Nor was he afraid of death.

He volunteered to be one of the first human subjects in a highly experimental therapy meant to restore lost organs.  It was particularly dangerous, but theories about it's eventual applications to reversing the aging process gave it proponents in congress that sent it through when other stem cell related therapies were being shelved indefinitely.

Of the ten test subjects, 6 died in their sleep.  3 died horrible screaming deaths.

The effects on Jeremy were radical different.  After seven weeks unconscious, he awoke fully healed, restored to nineteen years of age, with vocal chords of superhuman strength and flexibility, and...

As a she?

The project was sealed for fear of the repercussions of the public discovering it's ability to reverse aging.  After many months of poking and prodding, Jeremy was released with a new identity as his own granddaughter, Jenny Sandoval.

Jenny understood that her vocal abilities far surpassed the human norm.  It wasn't, however, 'til she was caught in a burning building on her 21st birthday that discovered how much so.  Cut off from the fire escape, she blew a hole in the back wall with an operatic scream so that others could escape.

A clever reporter spun this out as a miracle.  "In the bible, Joshua knocked down the walls of Jericho by sounding a horn.  Today, this young woman saved 7 times 7 lives with a similar feat."

Amused, Jenny adopted the moniker "Jericho" and invested in the possibility of fighting crime.

Super powers:  Jericho has 75 years of experience—including some martial arts and 3 years as an officer in the U.S. army--in a 21 year old body.  She is physically fit and heals at speeds that push the bounds of human regeneration.

Her vocal chords possess superhuman strength and flexibility.  She has a six octave range, some ability as a mimic, and can project sound with enough force to shatter glass or smash down a wall.

Weaknesses:  Jericho’s ears aren’t superhumanly resilient.  She can deafen or even stun herself with her own power.

What are the weaknesses of your other super powers Muse? :-)

Or was the regeneration not meant to be a real super power?

It sounds like an interesting character, I'm curious as to what she'll look like. ^_^

Incidently, if anyone needs to use Trickshot for a fight scene or something, here's a tip: I'm intending on playing her as kinda high camp and light-hearted, so the fight scenes with her should be like the 1960's Batman TV series. You know, all "POW!", "BIFF!", "WHAM!", "OOOOOPH!".

Hehe, that sounds like fun yes. ;)

I'm thinking of having Illumina invent some horribly misguided minions that do her plans more harm than good. I also wanted to add at least one robot with laser eyes. I was thinking of writing some really good fighting scenes, where she might even win, but then have some of her equipment breaking down and still making her loose.

I plan to add lots of comedy to the fights and her 'brilliant' masterplans. I hope to create an antagonist which you'll end up loving and having a good laugh at. ;D

In my mind I'm already picturing people go like "Awww... but we wanted you to win!" and she'll be more like, "Nope, that doesn't fit in my master plan either... Oh wait, it did, but..." :P

It'll be fun to play a typical villain and come up with all sorts of crazy ideas. XD

I have the BEST concept for a 50%-inept supervillain! Details will either arrive within an hour or two, or late tonight after work. X3

Sweet! I'm looking forward to reading more about your character Latooni. ;D

Maybe we'll even have a super-villain fight? :P

Nobody said the villains can't fight each other and do the heros' job for them! -snickers-

Latooni Subota

Of course. Allow me to give you a little spoiler~

There was once a nerd. A biiiig nerd. He had posters of cute anime girls and superheroines on his walls, stacks of comic books and video games blocking the way to walk to the bed, and it wasn't an unusual occurance to hear My Little Ponies and Iron Man playing simultaniously!

Then he got superpowers. Now he is a she, and for some reason is very . . bright. And shiny. Just something about the colors she has is more vibrant! The superpowers themselves? cartoon and comic-book physics! Nobody can pull a giant wooden mallet faster, or survive being hit by six cars in a row, like she can!

Expect me to probably find a drawn image for him/her, just to further emphasize the fact that he/she lives by different 'rules' than the others, so to speak. Expect a lot of hilariously awkward things as the powers work both for and against him/her. XD

Hmm... That sounds just like the kind of person that Illumina should team up with. With teams like ours we don't even need super hero enemies! We'll be our own undoing. ;)

Caitlin

(Wonders when Ari will step in to prevent the super villains from killing themselves before the heroes got to see any action.) ;D

Muse

  *Chuckles*  That's cute, Latooni!

I can see Jericho coming across her on a rampage and not knowing wether to fight or laugh.

Ari-chan pointed out that Jericho is on the serious end for this story.  The basic gist of my reply was, "Everyone needs a straight man."

I hadn't really thought of the regeneration as a superpower.  Aribeth, are we supposed to pair each superpower with a weakness?

Incidently, if anyone needs to use Trickshot for a fight scene or something, here's a tip: I'm intending on playing her as kinda high camp and light-hearted, so the fight scenes with her should be like the 1960's Batman TV series. You know, all "POW!", "BIFF!", "WHAM!", "OOOOOPH!".

This will fit in perfectly for the game.  Great example of what I'm looking for.

@Latooni: I'm looking forward to seeing your character.  It sounds like you have the general gist of the game.  Just remember dropping anvils don't kill.  Magically summoned wooden mallets can only be used when male characters are acting chauvinistic, women are immune to wooden mallets.  Devil horns, halos, and cat whiskers must magically appear upon the character to illustrate her mood.  PM me the details of your "special rules" and we'll go over them together.  Should be fun.

@Muse: No the weaknesses don't have to completely balance out.  Just realize that if your character is wearing ear plugs to protect her hearing from her sonic scream she's going to be unaware of a lot of things, and play her appropriately.  I also expect that her 75 years of male experience to lead her in the wrong direction at times.  There should be times that 75 years of male experience shouldn't prepare her for a single day as a female.  Same with the martial arts.  The character should expect to rely on upper body strength and have to adjust and relearn certain techniques in order to use them more effectively.  Just remember, this isn't a game where the focus is on power level.  It's a game about hijinks and antics.  I've played with you enough to trust you to do a good job.

@Angel Fire: Looking forward to having you join us.

Angel Fire

Name: Alexander/Alexis Cantrell
Alias: Grunge Girl
Alignment: Hero
Prior Occupation: Aspiring bass player, most notably known in a local Alice in Chains tribute band
Personality: Before the change, she was just like most bass players are.  She kept to herself, only speaking her mind when she needed to.  She was depressed and almost wanting to kill herself but after the change, she found her calling.  She found out that she could play her bass like it was a part of her.  She found a new found confidence with the change and wanted to be in the spotlight.  If the attention was not on her, she would find any way to draw it towards her... even if it meant making a fool out of herself at times.  She is always looking for girls to give her the attention that she needs, even if it means playing many roles
History: Sharing the last name of the famous guitarist of Alice in Chains (but not having any blood relations to him), Alexander had vivid dreams of making it in the music business.  He was a young adult when the Grunge scene came out from Seattle and he embraced to his core.  He kept dressing in the flannel shirts and playing grunge shows with bands that his friends tried to get together but for one reason or another, all of the music agents kept passing him over.

Depressed and distraught, he had almost killed himself many times but he was always saved by one of his old friends or he just could not bring himself to go in the way of his idol Kurt Cobain.  Distraught and despressed, she tried one last time to end her life but just before she could pull the trigger to the gun that he held onto his head, the event happened.

Feeling limp, he could feel himself changing as the drugs that he took made him pass out.  in the morning, there were two very big difference about him when he woke up.

First of all, he was in the body of an 18 year old but the biggest change was... he was now a she... and now a lesbian.  What her feelings are like after the change... well that will be described when it happens.
Super powers: She has the ability to grow her hair rapidly and stretch it out to capture her foes.  Her hair is nearly unbreakable.  Normal scissors won't cut it but a very sharp blade will.
Weaknesses: Once her hair starts growing, she can't control it as it has a mind of its own for at least 10 seconds but no longer than 30 seconds.  She is liable to trip over it and her hair is unpredictable enough to trap her hero friends in very uncomfortable situations before it stops and reverts back to normal.  If her hair is cut when in its growth mode, she will feel the depression come back in again... like she lost a long time friend, but the emotions would make her like a crying baby almost, not depressing enough to kill herself like she tried to do when she was a man.

Latooni Subota

I found a picture, but I'm not sure if I want to use it! Opinions, I need them!

As you can see the art style is pretty different from the usual drawn character images you'd find, and her features are a bit cartoony-different. That and I also think her overall design is pretty cool . . . and as a former nerdboy, she'd get a kick out of dressing to look sexy in the mirror.

Opinions? Comments? Concerns? (I'm still giggling at my concept, I have to admit!)

I'm not sure what to think of the green tints art-wise, but I think the picture will work great for your character! ^_^

It'll be a bit hard for me to imagine working together with a cartoonish character vs the real pictures though, but we'll make it work somehow. ;)

I'll probably end up forgetting about the cartoonish part during the roleplay, which makes it easier for me to interact with that character.

My friend died last year.  I've been searching my memories about the story.  Did it involve "Lady Lightning", a guy who's power suit slowly changed his gender?

Well lady lightning is a story set up by one of the folks that write stuff for the Whateley School setting. In the setting it's a comic book but you have a LOT of TG elements at Whateley. One of the dorms (cottages actually) is for the LGTG segment as some kids gender change when they come into their powers

AribethAmkiir

Callie Del Noire

Name: Jackson Phillips/ Jacqueline Phillips aka 'Jacky' or 'Two Guns'
Alias:  Blitz
Alignment: Hero
Prior Occupation: Range master for the city police range
Personality: Happy to able to run again, she's normally cheerful and outgoing. Sexually still a bit 'shy' and not quite as happy with the situation but adapting (with therapy). She tends to teach shooting to supplement her retirement pay and teaches close quarters combat shooting and long distance shooting.
Appearance: Standing at 5' 10", she's lost a bit of height and weight but still possesses a distance runners build and is content to stick to jeans and tshirts.
History: Jacky Phillips has been a lot of things over the years. He started as a punk biker as a teen, moved on to being one of the first marines sent to Vietnam where he served for three tours as first an infantryman then a sniper. Then he did his last tour as a MP before mustering out and becoming a policeman and eventually SWAT sniper. Finally as knee injuries and degenerative damage made it painful to do his job as a cop, he retired to the position of range master at the academy. Till the an experimental procedure in regenerative therapy was offered to him. The gene therapy keyed a whole new dna strand that induced a coma while he was changed into a younger, if female, version of himself. With a talent to accelerate or decelerate her metabolism. Resulting in hyperspeed or the ability to induce a hibernation state as well as a full control of her metabolic system. Exactly what that means at this point is still beyond her, she can flush her system, control it and accelerate to blinding speed. While her control of her metabolism allows for more efficient performance, it still requires fuel and she can overexert her system.
Super powers: By controlling her metabolism she can do a variety of short term metabolic effects. Outright healing/regeneration requires concentration and meditation. Strangely her first application of superspeed is the one she does best, most other effects require focus and concentration, leaving her to suspect that her metabolic control is a side effect of her speed rather than vice versa.
Weaknesses: Prolonged use of her power of acceleration requires more and more caloric intake to keep her metabolism going. Too long without supplements and her metabolism will crash, putting her out for hours or longer. Decelerating her metabolic rate makes it easier for her body to recover energy but takes longer to 'come up' from deeper levels of use.

By the way, I had a crazy idea... Since the heroes and villains generally wear disguises when they're 'at work', how do you guys feel about having a relationship between a villain and hero when they're not in their work atire? I think hilarity would ensue and it'd probably be a lot of fun to see an interaction like that going. ;)

Another thing I thought about, but this question is more aimed at Ari, is it okay if my character as a villain steals one of the canisters and has his own experiment going horribly wrong what results in the transformation? I don't think Alan would have any realistic chance of being taken into a normal program, due to his mental instability.

Callie Del Noire

I could see a villian coming in for training on close quarter combat/shooting from blitz. :D

Caitlin

Yeah, that'd be fun as well and then in a battle you'd be like, "Hey that move is familiar, I taught it to... Oh... Wait a second!"

I think this story will be lots of fun. ^_^

Oh, also a question for you Callie, basically your character's weakness comes down to being able to use the super power only for short periods of time?

Oh, also a question for you Callie, basically your character's weakness comes down to being able to use the super power only for short periods of time?

Still trying to figure how much she can do without going into 'eating an all you can eat buffet into bankruptcy'.

Caitlin

You could always add something like, "If she uses your power a prolonged time it drives her insane and makes her an unpredictable danger, both for enemies, her allies and herself."

That could be better weakness maybe? It'd also add more fun if you start doing crazy stuff, like beating on your chest as if you were Tarzan and making jungle sounds, or throwing a pie at one of your friends and start a food fight, generally things that make people go 'Wtf?'

I think Ari mostly wanted this to be a light game for comical relief than anything serious. ;D

The weakness was just a random thought though, but I think something like that would be a lot of fun to have in. ;)

In a way it's also realistic since your mind would also speed up, otherwise you couldn't even keep up with your body. When your mind reaches a certain critical level, however, you start to think faster than your brains can process, which causes a form of insanity. (You end up thinking in loops because you can't store/ process the thoughts quickly enough.)

Callie Del Noire

So passing out or pigging out isn't good enough? Or getting drunk because she's tweaked the burning of sugar the wrong way?"

Caitlin

Oh no, you misunderstood me, I wasn't saying it wasn't good enough. I thought you weren't sure how to make the weakness work and figured I'd offer an alternative.

It's your character and your choices. I didn't want to give the impression that you would have to change it or anything, my apologies if you interpreted it that way.

I think that pigging out could be a lot of fun as well, if she suddenly runs off in the middle of a fight and starts eating like crazy. ;)

Callie Del Noire

Or having her 'boost' her metabolism too high or speaking at full speed.. which sounds like gibberish when she's working on.

Or having problems with 'tweaking' somethings while at high speed. She's able to tune her metabolism.. but she's working at it from a layman's pov rather than the pov of a biochemist.

What would the 'something' be? A machine, some item, or her body? I'm not sure what you mean with that.

Say she was drugged..and tries to burn it off.. the wrong 'tweak' and it's going from a sedative to a hallucinogen.

That is why she's more than happy to stick to speedster tricks over tweaking her metabolism to pull off something esoteric. Sure..she can generate massive adrenaline surges to be strong and resilient..then spending day on dialysis recovering from said surge.

Caitlin

Hehe, it sounds like you got the weaknesses worked out well already, forget my earlier suggestions. :P

Will you describe this for each of our characters, or will you give us general guidelines of how that event happens and that we write it out ourselves?

I'm fine either way, but if it happens as part of an experiment in some kinda lab... Well... I just don't think that Alan would usually be picked as a test subject. Apart from his weird muttering and other anti-social habits he doesn't really stand out in a crowd as anything special. :-)

Of course you could have him picked up as an involuntary subject. ;)

Lol, Wolverine is the original character that came up with that power and he's been around for decades already. ;)

Doesn't make it any less cool though.

Heck, I based my character's power on the pipe bomb from L4D. It has a shiny light and makes a big explosion, I figured I might as well use that as inspiration for a villain. If it's original? Probably not, I think it's been done before, but that doesn't make it any less fun. ;D

Hm?

No, no, my power is more like Banshee.

Wolverine didn't get his powers in an experiment that regressed his age, and Jericho doesn't regenerate or have an extended lifespan.

That said, Aribeth, did you mean for everyone to get their superpowers during that explosion?

The two 'young uns' could be the result of an experimental process (or two I would suggest) and when they were relocated to a long term coma care unit that was where they got exposed to the 'gender bomb'.

AribethAmkiir

Guys, move these discussions to the plot thread please.  But yes, what Callie suggested is plausible, and yes everyone gets their gender swapped and powers in the same explosion.

Dooone! I adjusted things a bit, did a little blatent stealing after reading some comics to re-inspire myself, aaaaand we're good! Say hello to Otaku, the biggest nerd you'll ever meet. Or see get squished by an anvil. Ari, if you want, we can chat via PM or IM or something to set down some hard limits/rules for her powers . . . but at the moment I'm rolling with her powers working in weird and unexpected ways to hamper her just as much as she tries to mess with a hero. Also, despite being nearly-unstoppable when dealing with normal people, superheroes tend to . . uh . . critical hit her pretty easily, so to speak. Lol

Credit for the actual superhero image goes to Adam Warren's Empowered. >.>

Name: Rin Morimoto
Alias: Otaku
Alignment: Villain
Prior Occupation: Unemployed student living off of monthly stipends from a small inheritence before starting college.

Personality: Both before and after the Event, Rin is first and foremost a big honkin' nerd. The sheer amount of money spent on everything from bootleg VHS and DVDs of cartoons and anime to comic books and video games proves that. She's pretty shy when out-of-costume, tending to speak softly and keep to herself most of the time, especially to avoid conflict. She's nice, but has a bit of a greedy and lazy streak to her, as well as a submissive one. Now, when she puts on the costume? That added bit of anonymity gives her self-esteem a pretty big boost. She gets much more active, outgoing, and joking. While disguised she goes for what she wants, when she wants, and damn the consequences!

Appearance:

Rin is a fairly pretty japanse-american, standing at just a hair over five-feet tall, with a lightly muscled swimmer's build. She's rather proud of her curves though, with a just over modest bust, and a particularly eye-catching bottom. Her hair is long and black, reaching down to the small of her back, just a tiny bit wavy. Her skin is just a bit pale, but her love of swimming has helped make it a bit healthier lately. She prefers to wear very modest clothing most of the time . . except when she's wearing cosplay that involve masks, THEN her wardrobe gets . . interesting.

When in her 'supervillain' guise, things get a bit . . . different. Somehow, she ends up being a full 5'6" with long blond hair and more caucasian features than before. Her muscles seem a bit more pronounced as well, but the biggest difference is her curves. She's a good deal more curvy and eye-catching as Otaku than Rin, happily showing off her delightful bottom and larger breasts in her skin-hugging suit. She has no idea WHY she physically changes, but she figures it's some weird mix of The Great Plot making her more interesting, and the silly tropes of female villains needing to be extra-sexy.

History: Rin Morimoto was never the most popular kid around, but damnit, older women seemed to just love him! As a child, the scrawny asian lad was just the sweetest little angel around. He learned his manners early on, and was always asking if he could help nannies and teachers with anything they needed, much to their delight. When the bullying started against him, he always seemed to get preferential treatment, like a proper teacher's pet.

Well, if you wanted to make a kid spoiled, then that was surely the way to do it! Rin grew up feeling rather privileged, though smart enough to not brag about his treatment by the adults thanks to some early beatings in dodgeball and other playground activities. While putting on a good face, he grew a bit more shy around most people his age, and turned to more nerdly pursuits in his free time. A healthy allowance assured him of getting his hands on any toys he wanted, and was soon collecting all manner of video games and figurines. He really did become a pretty huge nerd in a very short time.

Some . . issues with other students, as well as an oddly timed death in the family giving him a small inheritence, led to him making the decision to move out early. Finding Sentinel City's high level of technology interesting, he decided to finish up his high school career there with the help of his inheritence. Surrounded by all manner of new people who seemed to be more well-off than he was helped squash his ego a bit more, and led him to being even more shy and reserved in public, as he graduated 5th in his class. Rather than immediately dive back into college, he decided to take a year off to enjoy living as a nerdly bachelor.

Super powers: Cartoon Physics

Otaku's superpowers are at once simple, and needlessly complex. She no longer works by the rules of reality, and now obeys cartoon physics.  Everything just seems to get utterly weird around her. First of all, when she goes 'super' mode, she goes from a slightly curvy and pretty asian girl, to a bombastic blond bombshell in a skintight bodysuit! She also has access to number of . . . items, that she can pull out of nowhere, to utilize in any situation. Tommy Guns, Bombs, falling objects from the sky . . it seems like there's almost nothing her powers can't do! . .  Kinda. An interesting side effect of her powers is how she never seems to get hurt more than bumps and bruises, if anything, instead getting quickly exhausted and tired. Well, that and what happens to her costume . . .

"Random List of Cartoony Examples"
Please note that all powers and abilities are subject to immediate change at the whims and mercy of The Plot. This is not something Otaku likes. She used to have a working bazooka, and now it shoots more banana peels instead of explosives!

Quick Change: One of her more useful tricks, Otaku can walk out of view and immediately come back into view either in her curvacious supervillain body, or her normal asian one. Note: Revolving doors and Convenient Phone Booths are best for this, as well as closets.

Not-So-Invulnerable: As long as some of her costume remains on her body, Otaku's body utilizes cartoon physics to keep her nearly invulnerable. At most she'll suffer scratches and bruises, never any truly broken bones or worse. The real problem is the exhaustion that comes from being shot with guns or kicked around by a superhero. She IS a big nerd after all, and the suit exchanging damage for exhaustion is a pretty big problem for her, limiting the amount of time she can actually use her powers.

Don't Look Down: Like a modern day coyote, she can walk off ledges and rooftops without actually falling . . . as long as she doesn't look down. Sadly, yells of "OH MY GOD LOOK AT THAT WOMAN! SHE'S GONNA FALL!" tend to be enough to make her forget and look down.

Giant Mallet: Fairly strong hammer pulled out of hammerspace, but for some reason unable to be used on females. Go figure!

Banana Peel: The most obvious trick in the book, but with enough of them even a car can skid to a stop. Otaku is prone to laying them down and forgetting about them, leading to herself slipping on them.

Blow-Up Hand: By blowing into her thumb, she can make her fist comically oversized. Lends a good deal more 'punch' to her punch, but doesn't actually enhance the rest of her body's strength.

The Shotgun: Pulling a shotgun on someone is a great way to intimidate them! Sadly, her shotgun is incapable of doing more than cover someone's face in soot and frizz out their hair.

Corner Brick Wall: When in doubt, flee around a corner! There's always a brick wall suddenly right around the corner, for someone not paying attention to run into! . . Assuming Otaku doesn't misjudge the distance and run into it herself.

Pie Time: Otaku has an unlimited supply of pies to fling at people's faces. They're all in regular pie tins, with no explosives in them or anything, but the pies themselves are surprisingly well-made and come in a myriad of flavors.

Sweet Trap: She can't use this one too often, but it's certainly an ominous trick. A loud whistling sound comes from the sky, as a shadow covers the target. Anything from an anvil, to a piano or safe falls down in an attempt to crush someone! Sadly, it's another REALLY obvious attack, and has a secret. If someone avoids it the object will smash into the ground with the proper amount of force and destructiveness. If it hits someone? It'll bounce off their head and give them a rather mild concussion at most, complete with little birdies flying above them. Occasionally though, it'll momentarily inflict her cartoon physics on someone it hits, flattening them like an accordian for a few minutes.

Portable Hole: This is her favorite escape trick . . sorta. She pulls a black hole out of her pocket, sticks it on the ground or a wall, and climbs through it to appear on the other side of an object. Sadly . . . her uh . . 'super' body is a little TOO curvy to fit through it, without some creative squirming.

Painted Tunnel: This is a much more reliable way to escape over long distances, since she doesn't get stuck halfway! Aggrevatingly, this tends to 'pick up' a big bus or truck that promptly drives through the tunnel at high speed, when she's standing in the way, maybe 50% of the time.

Bomb!: Another obvious move, she can pull out big black balls with a lit wick, and the word BOMB written across them to throw at people. These actually work too, though the wicks last anywhere from a second to twenty seconds of awkward sitting around, waiting for an explosion that won't actually kill or maim a living person, despite possible property damage.

Uncontrollable Tommygun: She has a tommygun that has so much kickback she can barely keep the bullets headed in the same direction! The damage it deals is more like being pelted with golf balls than deadly bullets, but still, surprisingly effective if she can actually HIT with it.

Joker's Trick: If she wants a more accurate weapon, she pulls out two exceedingly long revolvers. Now these things really pack a wallop . . . when they're not popping out little flags that say BANG! on them . . .

Finger Beats Gun: Did you know that if you stick your finger inside the barrel of a gun, it won't fire? Well, it works that way for Otaku!

Weaknesses: It's really not that great for a rising supervillain, when it turns out that her powers can't actually kill anyone. At best, all of her efforts lead to bruising and a few broken bones, if she's really lucky. It just seems like whenever she's around, nobody dies. Period. Even more embarassing, her powers tend to backfire on her at the most inopportune moments, or just aren't practical for her to use. Embarassingly enough, other superpowered attacks seem to knock her about with ease, or tear her costume to ribbons. It's just like everything seems to end up going wrong for her, 90% of the time!

Player’s Ons/Offs: Generally, I have a lot of things I like or am willing to do, and a few dislikes and hard no's. If I'm in a submissive stance, and dealing with someone tall/strong/beautiful/handsome/dominant . . we're probably good. Callie Del Noire

Does she lose her powers as the suit frays like Emp does? Excellent comic by the way. Hilarous!

Latooni Subota

Not so much, but she DOES tend to attempt fleeing once her suit has reached CRITICAL LEVELS of skimpyness! Of course, whether or not that's successful? Random chance. It's very possible that some of her powers could backfire or stop working, in order to make things more interesting against  . . oh . . that supervillain with a bondage theme, or the one with tentacles . . . XD

Questions:

How many people are we rolling with at this point?

What's our balance of men/women and good/evil?

How are we set for fetishes?

Is anyone worried they won't have someone to play off of?

AribethAmkiir

I have 8 approved characters, 2 more people working on characters, and spots reserved for you and two others.

I think we have more women than men, and it's currently 2 villains to 6 heroes, but the two working on characters right now are creating villains.  so it'll be 4-6 with most of my NPCs falling on the villain side.

What fetishes are you asking about?  The game is placed in the NC: exotic thread, but I would like to take this opportunity to say that the game isn't about smut, it's about "stupid" comedy.  I won't prevent people from following their fetishes, that's why I put the game where I did, but that won't be where my focus is as the GM.

I'm pretty sure everyone will have people to play off of, and I will be watching this carefully to make sure no one's left in the cold.

Roxy Rocket

Neato. I don't think I'm very "with it" based on the other characters so I'm out.

I can't speak for Ari, but I believe so. We're with only 2 player villains so far. ^_^

Arioch

Two of the pending characters are supposed to be villains. Nothing wrong with extra as long as there is sufficient loot for my character. Else, we'll have some words, many of which will be taunting in nature. Some of which could lead to a discussion on the aerodynamic capabilities of an African vs. European swallow.

Real Name Temperance Matthews
Alias Wicked Witch
Alignment Villain

Bio Temperance Matthews is a gorgeous young woman with a tragic first name. Highschool can be cruel and being a part of a Wiccan family doesn't help. Her mother and father were always interested in nature, magic, and the mystical forces that surround us every day. Despite her good looks Temperance was always viewed as an outsider where she grew up and never quite fit in with any of the cliques. After graduating, she followed her parents around the country as they explored the ley lines that wrap around the planet, and other spots of power. During a stopover in a major city, however, her parents were killed by collateral damage during a bout between a superhero and supervillain. Something inside Temperance snapped. What makes a superhero so 'good'? They think they can do anything just because they have power! They think they're so high, so mighty! Look at them! Bossing around so-called 'villains' who are just trying to live their own way! It's nothing more than bullying! Well, no more. It's time to push back.

Temperance took off, in search of magic. Real magic. She knew it was real. She'd seen villains and heroes on the news using it. She just needed to figure out how to tap into it. Eventually, after years of hard study and work, she found it. Temperance got her hands on an ancient staff of magic and used her arcane knowledge to re-ignite the dormant powers within it. A twenty three year old Temperance Matthews was reborn! Reborn as The Wicked Witch!

Powers
--Elemental Manipulation: Temperance can toss balls of fire, ice, earth, water, or air. She can create shapes out of earth, conjure fire and water, and other such spells. Casting spells involves gestures with her staff or hands and uttering phrases. More powerful spells, obviously, take longer and more complex words or gestures to complete. A simple fireball, for example, takes but one word and a quick flick of her wrist. Creating a rock golem would require a magic circle and a much more complex spell phrase. Triggering a massive explosion would require a magic circle and a serious spell chant.

--Alchemy: Temperance can transmute any substance into any other substance. Steel into mud, lead into gold, water into fire. Doing this, however, requires planning and preperation. A ritual has to be performed and a sample of both substances must be contained within a magical vial, along with other ingredients. The prepared vial is then tossed on, for example, a bank vault, which quickly melts down into water and washes away.

--Conjuring: Her own possessions often reside within a 'pocket dimension' that she can transport non-living things to and from. The objects must 'belong' to her, however, for this to work. It is quite handy for teleporting clothing, her staff, or other items into her grasp.

--Teleportation: Temperance can teleport herself to anywhere she has been before simply by picturing it in her mind. Anything living touching her is taken along for the ride.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Temperance has always been a gifted student and she's turned that intelligence towards studying magic exclusively for a number of years now. She has literally done little else than fume and pour over arcane tomes while plotting her revenge against superheroes and 'bullies' in general. Her gift for magic and ability to manipulate the very elements around her are offset by the fact that she is a completely unarmored target. She can create shields with earth or flame, but wears no armor since the magic runes woven into her clothing must remain uncovered. The runes (only see-able by someone with a gift for magic) allow her to cast spells without being harmed by them herself. She is a true 'glass cannon' and relies quite often on planning and cunning to win battles. She will not do good in being ambushed by more powerful beings.

Personality: Wicked Witch is wanted for a number of bank robberies, robbing the wealthy, torching and destroying businesses, assaulting law enforcement and superheroes, and the murder of one hero. She seems to have no agenda beyond delivering 'punishment' to people that she believes are abusing their power. She often attacks large corporations, superheroes, and, of course, banks. A girl has to make a living. In person she can be surprisingly friendly and well-mannered, especially to those she feels deserve her respect. She is less a real psychopath and more just using her new-found power to carve out her own niche in a world that rejected her. Temperance tries not to kill innocent bystanders, but has no qualms about ending the life of some haughty hero.

Ons: Group sex, forced, strong-willed partners, light bondage, large partners
Offs: Heavy bondage, dismemberment/extreme violence/gore, smaller partners
