Love in Middle Earth (Legolas/Aithi'n) M/M

What if Legolas Greenleaf was not the only elf in the quest of the Fellowship of the Ring..?  This plot follows the two elves, recounting the perils and triumphs of the first book/movie, but also incorporating this new relationship.

Plot:
Prince Legolas Greenleaf and the elf squire Aithi'n Lathlaeril have traveled from Mirkwood to Rivendell to set forth upon the quest of a lifetime, a quest to regain the freedom of Middle Earth alongside two men, a dwarf, a wizard and four hobbits... 

Aithi'n, a young and timid elf, was sent to journey alongside Prince Legolas, to carry his extras and be of help when needed.  Though Legolas' father does not view Aithi'n as anything special, Legolas treats him as a brother, and sometimes wonders if he loves him more than he should...

Age: 240 years (around 17 human years)
Height: 5'10
Weight: 128
Description: In the likeness of Mirkwood elves, and especially Legolas.  Tall and whispy-limbed with long blonde hair and a pointed face, Aithi'n could almost be Legolas' younger brother.  He is dressed in a tunic similar to Legolas, but with much less fancy embroidery and extra pieces.  A single Elven brooch clasps his cape together.
