How should I do stats?  Point buy, or do you want to roll and send me the numbers?

Also, the 3.5 SRD can be found at http://www.d20srd.org.  It's got all the core rules, as well as Unearthed Arcana variants.

TanaSilver

For stats, you can use either the standard 4d6 discard low roll or standard point buy. If you roll, just be honest.

Hmmm....risk not getting what I need, or for sure get some decent numbers.....always a decision....

There's a dice roller on this site.  I'll try to figure it out. :P

You can also use this fabulous online character generator: http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm

What would the point buy be?  28?  32?

Hmmm, I think I go to make a half-orc monk for this game (or hobgoblin, they got +1 LA and nice bonuses). Also gear is not a issue really for a monk. So will I PM the sheet to you when it is done or something?

TanaSilver

Sure, just PM it to me and I'll get you set up!

So, how many people do we have for this?

I'm thinking of either abusing low level spells, or abusing the power of low level warrior characters.

Hmm....

TanaSilver

I currently have 2 PCs. The next brawl may be a three or four-way free for all.

Will you be making our character intros as was done when it was just me, or should we do our own now that we have a template.
How profound such profanity can be.

TanaSilver

That's a good idea. Atlus, since you've already been through it, go ahead and make a first post for yourself. You know the routine ... you wake up in a cell from having been somewhere else before, etc.

TanaSilver

Yes, now that we have that PrC issue resolved. Go ahead and make your first post, placing yourself in a cell. At the rate we're going here, we'll have you all fighting later today!

Wow, interesting idea.  Have read thru the posts so far, and am interested, if there are still slots open that is .. presumably for the next round.

Only have the 3.5 SRD downloads from WTC though.  And as I have mentioned in a previous post (heh) they aren't my favorite ruleset, so I am not very familiar with 3.0 or 3.5.

TanaSilver

Sure, the more the merrier! The SRD is fine. In fact, if you just use that online char generator, you'd be fine, since I do all the system stuff behind the scenes. Then you could use the online SRD for reference.

shadow:  d20srd.org has all the rules, and in a MUCH better format than the downloadable SRD's.

Cool.  Played around with the online generator .. it only told me I need to read the rules more closely! :D

Oh very nice.  thanks GH. :)

TanaSilver

Hopefully we're talking about the same online generator. This one (http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm) is super easy and walks you through the whole process, entirely online.

Yup.  It just showed me that I don't know 3.0/3.5 rules very well. :)

Am rereading the rules, thanks to GrinningHound, and it's starting to come together.
