I think that depends on what version of feminism you're using. By the 'independent woman who makes her own decisions' definition, she's not a feminist model at all. By the 'woman treated exactly the same as a man' metric, she's very feminist.

Fair enough, mind you, that does imply that Fury is a great boss for that sort of thing. Seeing as in 616, S.H.I.E.L.D. was his baby to begin with. ;D

Although personally, wanting to follow orders of a person she believes is worth following, is pretty much as feminist as you can get to me.  It wouldn't matter if Fury had been a guy or a gal, in that regard.  But meh.  I loved the film.
