Ok, here's a thread where I'd like to see people write poems in response to the last one written.  Doesn't matter what type, haikus, shakspearian sonnets, etc are all welcome.

To start us off...  A nice and dark stylized haiku by moi.  Show me some skillz people!!!

When the world turns to
Black dresses are to wear for the
Dead men tell no lies.

wings of an angel
in the whisper of the rain
soothe those left behind

as the sun rises through
the fog and the rain
hope begins to splurge
and rejoice what once was
