An odd problem with email notification

I have turned off all email notifications in my user profiles.  But for some reason my email account is still getting a flurry of notices for each and every message I'm getting in PM.  Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can stop it?

Did you go to 'Personal Message Options" and choose never in the drop down menu?

Thanks, that was the problem.  I went instead to "Notifications and Emails" and unchecked all the boxes for *those* notifications.  Didn't realize there was a seperate option for PM in another place.
