The Bargain

A successful period romance novel writer is in trouble. She has lost her passion for writing. She stares for days at a blank page with her deadline fast approaching.

Some friends come around to cheer her up with wine and a game to play. A Ouija board. During the evening in the candle lit room the planchette begins to move ... a spirit?

A spirit that becomes not so friendly. They pack the board up being a little shaken.

Later that night, after her friends have gone, the writer stares at her blank page. She begins to type. Slowly at first and then like a dam breaking the words spill onto the page. A new novel has begun, maybe her best.

The next morning she returns to her story. Something is wrong. Very wrong. She's quite sure she didn't write the last portion of the page. It isn't even her writing style and it moves her story into a darker and strangely exciting sensuality she's never experienced before.



Training Day (SORRY TAKEN)

A young, by the book, female cop recently promoted to detective because of her devotion to duty at the expense of all else (including her relationship with her very practical boyfriend) is given a big assignment.

Being partnered with one of the toughest streetwise detectives in the force they are assigned to the investigation of the murder of key gangland figures.

As the story goes on the young cop comes to learn that to defeat the bad guys you can't always play by the rules. But what is her partners involvement in these murders and is his seduction of her just a way to manipulate her into crossing a dark line from which she could never return.
