New Mass Effect RP seeking members.

After playing through Mass Effect 3 I,m in the mood to start up a Mass Effect RP. My last RP kind of died thanks to member dropouts so I'm really in need of loyal members who might actually stick with the RP

As for the squad.....
What I Have: (I'll add members to the list as they join.)
Drell Male - CO, SPECTRE (Me)
Human Female - XO, Rank: Commander (Me)
Krogan Male - Mercenary (Me)
Batarian Male - Weapons Expert (Me)
Turian Male - SPECTRE, will join very late in Pt.1 (Me)
Human Male - Raziel
Human Female - PennyNarrows
Human Pilot, Male - Ace Flyer

What I Need: (If, when we get enough members to start some of the needed roles aren't filled I'll use NPCs to play them)
At least 1 Turian Male
An Asari
A Quarian sex slave*
A Self-Aware A.I.*
A Medic Salarian
Human females
Human males
Anything else is welcome as long as characters are unique, just ask me if you have any other roles in mind.

* - These roles wont appear till later in the RP after several missions are completed, so if you choose these, keep in mind you'll have to wait a while. I was going to just make them NPCs but I'll give members a chance to claim them.
** - For human roles I need At LEAST 2 of them to be alliance soldiers (Navy or Marine), I in fact prefer soldiers to having a bunch of mercs running around the ship but I wont decline non-alliance human members.

Plot----
Part 1: Takes place about a year before the events of Mass Effect, it will center around a SPECTRE crew joining with the Alliance to track down an Alliance Spec-Ops soldier turned terrorist when they discover their own place in the brewing war with the Reapers.

With success in this RP I plan to make a sequel which will take place near the end of Mass Effect 3

My brother lost my Mass Effect 1 disk so I need to get it again. I just played through Mass Effect 3, 3 times in a row (Renegade, Paragon, and one with EVERYONE dying on the suicide mission besides 2 who will die in ME 3, so by the end everyone was dead)

Well, I only play console versions of things, my PC severely lags on action scenes and I HATE the controls for most PC games. Too bad because I noticed there's more alternate outfits for Shepard and your squadmates on the PC version of 3.

Yep, I was going to suggest the Steam Sale. It's a good deal. I got the first two on the last Steam sale. I was quite annoyed I had to get an Origin account just to play the 3rd, but hey ho.

As long as there's variety in the crew. Though I'd say limit it to like 3 or so per person.

Quick Question, just as general concensus. Wont affect the RP until the Final Chapter.
Which ending did you all choose? (I mean, if you really WERE Shepard, because I know most of us have a save file for each ending, which is prefered?)

I'm guessing most of us have finished the series (If you haven't PLAY IT NOW, it's great!!!!), but just in case.

I go with destroy most of the time. But for this RP's sake Reject makes a better ending. The DLC really jipped us with that ending because they knew if people picked that ending it'd require them to make a Mass Effect 4.
Synthesis - Despite Bioware trying to make us THINK thiis was the "Good" ending, I find it to be just a cheap trick to indoctrinate the entire galaxy.
Control - This was the Illusive Man's choice, he's the bad guy, nuff said.
Destroy - Mass Effect 1 and 2 were all about destroying the Reapers, that has been your goal from day 1, why stop now?
Reject - Destroy the Reapers but you wont have to sacrifice EDI or the Geth, and everyone keeps the Mass Relays intact. it just makes sense. Plus it opens up a LOT more room for another sequel.

Only ever done it once...well technically twice but I went with the same ending twice, once before the Extended Cut was released and once after and I went Control with my Paragon Shep.

I usually go Destroy, but one Synthesis for my optimistic playthrough...

Btw, OHW, rejecting doesn't lead to a victory...The Reapers win that cycle and destroy everyone, with the Stargazer epilogue saying that they found Liara's info capsule and used what she stored in it to defeat the Reapers when they returned long after the humans and asari and so on were gone.

They only had the Reapers win that cycle because it was time to move on and end the Shepard/Reaper War saga.

It deffinetly opens up the fanfic realm to expansion.

I never had a mjaor plot point requiring an Asari in my original notes, though as a popular race in the games, I figured we need at least one of each of the council races on the team.

Hey, can you describe the role of the self aware A.I.? I'm really interested in that part! :D

Well, it starts off fighting the team under Cerberus but once Cerberus is defeated during the mission the alliance has it captured and reprogrammed to be loyal to them instead of Cerberus.
I deffinetly want there to be tension between my XO and the AI since she really harbors hatred for AI.

Eventually it's going to sacrifice itself to save the team late in the story but having a memory backup it's just going to have to find a new body.

Pure curiosity, here...Why Turian Male? Seeing as there's quite a gender ratio favoring males, would a Turian Female be possible? Assuming you have no specific plot idea for the turian, that is. I'm still hashing out ideas in my head, and the asari simply isn't cooperating with me.

If you've read the comics and have seen a Turian female you may have your answer :P

I haven't, so you'll have to fill me in. I was simply thinking about Garrus's story in ME2 about the female soldier he had an argument with, followed by various uses of him saying he had reach, but she had flexibility.

Well, the gender ratio does seem more heavily male oriented.

1. I already have my XO as a female human, so with another female human, 2 more human males we'd have an equal number of males to females.

2. If we have an Asari that's another female in the crew. Same with the Quarian sex slave (Because the female slave would fit better than a male for this situation)

3. I was trying to recruit a Turian male LI (Love Interest) for my female human, though I could just pair her with one of the male humans, or we could have 2 Turians.

Speaking of which, I deffinetly want to include crew relationships into this RP. Sexual content will be about similar to what was in the games, only less censored and not restricted to just the final mission.

Huh, alright. I was simply curious what others would think, 'tis all. ^^;; With the way my muse is working, I don't think I'll get another character made soon, unless I suddenly get some inspiration for the asari.

Well what do you think? Personally I don't have any objections and it is your character if you have the character made already and nobody else has any objections I say go for it.

Oh, no, I don't have it made. I already have the pilot, and an excess human male (Cerberus sleeper agent), so I'm not putting a lot of though into more characters. It was just a thought I had, as I was browing through DeviantArt and found some interesting pics, and recalled that conversation with Garrus.

Well, we do need a few more aliens in the crew before we begin.
We do kind of need a Turian, Male or Female is fine. With the exception of the Quarian and a Male LI for my XO, there aren't any roles we need specifically.

Though once the RP starts new members will have to wait until between missions to drop in.

I'll probably go ahead and get to work on a starting post and have it up tomorrow. I'll fill missing roles with NPCs unless anyone else wants to claim them.
