Tournament on Targon (need nine people)

Targon is a young planet of humanoids with five races hoping to gain a foot hold over the planet and take control of as much land as possible. Due to this the five races agreed to a compromise, that once a year two warriors selected by each race will compete against each other. The tournament rules are as follows, every mach up to the final match is first to draw blood with the final match being a fight to the death. The winner of the tournament gains control of the planet for his race that will grant them the ability to expand there land up to a selected amount.

Each race has plans for expansion and require the governmental control for keeping power over the others. Tensions run high for the races that have yet to win or have not won recently, unfortunately tensions are pushed to the limit when the announcement of an Eleventh Fighter is given to the competitors.

Is this essentially like one big RP fight? I'd definitely be down for a good old fashioned brawl. Shame you don't have orcs as a race, though. ;)

Quick question, though. What exactly is a Zora? If this idea is based off something, I'm not familiar with it.

Zora is a race of fish people from The Legend of Zelda game series, I couldn't think of a final race so I tossed them in.

Alright. I've got a couple ideas, just curious as to what the tech-level is. more medieval/fantasy? modern? futuristic? I'm still in no matter what, this just helps to refine what I'd play.  :D

It is medieval/fantasy nothing higher tech then a cross bow.

Ill take an Elf slot if there is one left. if not then i guess ill be the first zora.

as long as the elves are getting along then it can be any elf you want to be.

hmmmm. im thinking we might want to change the Zora people to something a bit more alluring. Possibly orc-ish or insect-toid. Just a thought.

Hmm IF I can make a suggestion. Perhaps evil humans? or somethig else 'dark' (might be interested in playing as the new race instead depending on what it is. And if that's alright?)

Yeah i motion to change zora race. Orcs, Vampire, Elementals, Undead, Demonic, Angelic, Insectoid. Just something that might grab other people attention more and get this tournament on the road. lol.

hmm... I'm going to go with elemental... and if that doesn't work than well go to angelic... something that can breed.

What about a race of misfits (Angels, vampires, orcs, elementals and anything else you can think of mixed together)? They can be the minorities of the planet which banded together to survive.

The problem though is that this is the first instance where a being showed up that was half human and half elf, and cross breeding between the tribes is unheard of, so if we have a tribe of misfits then it kind of throws off the story.

Maybe restrict the misfits to specific races but still allow quite a variation to hopefully entice new players?

By the by, shouldn't we make an OOC thread?

Lets try to keep it to individual races, but try grouped races like undead could have multiple races, or elemental, angelic. I'm not really picky. Just trying to keep to the story line.
