what is your favorite band or maybe top 10?  I didn't see a post for this, so I figured I'd put one up.

My favorite band is Iron Maiden, but I'm also a big fan of Danzig, Ozzy/Sabbath, Edguy, Nightwish, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf (best live concert I've ever seen), Dio, Judas Priest/Fight, Lords of Acid, HIM, &  depeche mode.
O/O

Sabby

I'd say Kamelot, but their too soft... then I'd say Dimmu Borgir, but they're too hard :/

Jet Black Stare? Fast and boppy, but still too 'classic rock' when I'm metal. Poets of the Fall? Beautiful, but once again, too gentle for me...

There's so many other bands I could list, Viking Skull, Fear Factory, Children of Bodom, Nightwish, Deathstars, Linkin Park... but I think I have to go with Disturbed.

They've never done me wrong, every album has had a few songs I like, but usually, I adore the whole album. Sickness was great in it's time, but I don't like it as much as the newer stuff. Down With the Sickness is a timeless classic though, and I don't think they can ever top themselves there. Believe was a bit different from their usual stuff, a few dud songs, but the rest was great. Ten Thousand Fists was the weakest in my opinion, with only two stand out songs (Ten Thousand Fists, and Stricken), and then Indestructible came... oh my word, I worship that album <3 every song on there worked for me, there wasn't one dud.

Currently moving through the newest, Asylum. At first I hated it, but it's growing on me :) Never Again is my favourite so far.

Naruto Shippuden AMV- Never Again- Disturbed

Sorry for the video choice. Not a Naruto fan here, but I couldn't find an official video clip.

I also like Kamelot, Dimmu Borgir & Fear Factory; have cds from all those bands.  I saw Fear Factory years ago when they were first starting out as a band, they were so no name they weren't even listed on the ticket; I'm guessing 16 or 17 years ago.

Drusilla

Hhmmm...Fave bands.  I am a huge music fan and my tastes are all over the map when it comes to music.  I don't like one or two certain styles, but pretty much all of them.  A few of my fave are...

Dresden Dolls
Crash Test Dummies
Disturbed
Muse
Florence and the Machine
Bee Gees
Concrete Blond
Counting Crows
Deadsy
Fleetwood Mac
Evanescence
Linkin Park
Kiss
The Mavericks

Thats enough for now..I am sure there will be more as I think about it....

Lately I have been addicted to the song Girls' Night by First Rate People.  It is so bouncy and catchy.  The contrasting boy/girl vocals overlap and intertwine perfectly, they are literally singing separate songs to the same music but the effect is pop music at its finest.

Well, since this is asking for my favorite bands and not music in general ...

It's hard to say.

I like a lot of different bands. Iced Earth is consistently among my favorites. I've found myself listening to Marilyn Manson and Genitorturers recently. I guess those count.

Iced Earth pretty awesome. Have you herd Job Schaffer's new "Sons Of Liberty" poject? I saw him on fox news not to long ago talking about it.

I have. You can get the whole album for free by signing up to the newsletter.

I gotta say, I'm torn. It has some good music, even if the lyrics are at times extremely cheesy. Problem is, it's very political, and while I like some of the messages, I just don't by into NWO conspiracy theories in quite the way Schaffer does, and a lot of the songs are dealing with exactly that.

National Acrobat

Black Sabbath
Deep Purple
Rainbow
Kiss
Fates Warning (John Arch Fates)
Judas Priest
Megadeth
Jethro Tull
Iron Maiden
Opeth
