What I'm looking for, in a nutshell, is a situation where character A gets character B in his/her clutches, then character B manages to turn the tables. And maybe they show mercy...but maybe they don't.

I'm open to genre, time period, etc., though I do ask that all characters be humanoid, and don't really do the fandom thing (though non-canon Harry Potter would be badass). For me, the more plot, the better - sex and other shenaniganry are fun, but they're best when fueled by engaging characters with interesting lives.
