Aphrodesia is a MerFolk Art from Blood-Dimmed Tides. As to why a non-Merfolk would have it? But, you are allowing Exclusive Kith Merits and Flaws to be added to Kith not of such exclusiveness. I guess they thought the cards are all up on the table and everything is up for grabs?
On's/Off's --- Game Reviews

"Only the insane have strength enough to prosper. Only those who prosper may judge what is sane."

Jefepato

Very few non-merfolk have it, but it's in no way restricted, nor in any way overpowered, and it makes far more sense for my character than any other Art.

Creeper

It's fine, as there are no Merfolk in existence (At least, not the version that paticular book portrays).

Wonder    XXXOO   (3 dice armor, Heal 1 health level/round.)

Merits:
1   Ability Aptitude: Athletics
3   Daredevil
4   Fae Blood
1   Catlike Ballance  (+2 to ballance checks)  (1)

Flaws:
Mild Addiction:  Mountain Dew Code Red  (1)
Echoes   (4)
Compulsion (1)  Never turn down a "reasonable" physical challenge.  ((What do  you suppose is reasonable to a woman with 13 dice in her pool to perform  outlandishly dangerous athletics stunts at -2 difficulty?  She won't try to jump the grand canyon on her skate board just because you dare her too, but, like Marty McFly growling, "Don't call me chicken,", Kumiko tends to have reactions like, "What do you mean I'm not good enough to skate down the interstate overpass the wrong way at rush hour?))
Vengeful  (2)  Wants to avenge her mother's death.

Occupation/Rank: Heir to the Cherry Blossom Temple (Shinto) in Santa Barbra, which is still run by her grandmother, she currently spends more time as a vigilante protecting her congregation from the predations of vampires, drug dealers, and other unwholesome creatures of the night.  She also participates in skating and gymnastics competitions.  She has some fame as an Olympic gold medalist in speed skating and bronze medalist in rhythmic gymnastics.

Appearance: Kawaii!  Kumiko’s health and beauty are a direct result of good living.  Her pale amber skin is smooth and supple, with a few faint scars that the blessing of her favorite kimono has yet to fade.  It flows and ripples over a tightly muscled gymnast’s body.  Her legs are particularly shapely and powerful, not to mention long, rising up curved hips to a trim waist and a belly that could bounce a quarter.  Her chest is pert and high, a bit large for a gymnast, but not extravagant.  Her face is a bit heart shaped for a Japanese girl, and her eyes are blue.  Waist length blue-black hair is usually pulled back in a pony tail by a plain black scrunchy.

She almost always wears a midnight purple mini-kimono over a black sports bra.  It falls open a little bit when she’s relaxed, though she pulls it tight for battle on account of it’s paranormal defensive properties.  The back is embroidered in painstakingly intricate detail with a blooming cherry tree.  Wind swirls it’s petals around the kimono.  The skirt of this garment barely falls past her hips, but she wears matching pink leggings.  She’s almost never seen wearing shoes, instead preferring, when not barefoot, to wear her roller blades and safety pads, all burgundy in color.

She’s actually a shade on the short side, but seems taller on account of almost always wearing her roller blades and being so lanky.

Personality: Bubbly and bouncy, especially when afraid, Kumiko tries to be cheerful and perky at all times, and make the best of life.  She’s capable of quite elegance, and scorns brooding or “goth behavior.”  In truth, she’s got some emotional baggage she’s carrying around, she blames herself for her mother’s death (she died in childbirth) and the things she fights in the night scare her every bit as much as they excite her.  That’s why she becomes more and more a bubbly anime girl the more afraid or distressed she becomes.  In anime, wounds heal, scars are attractive, and little people can stand up to big, scary monsters and triumph.

Kumiko is a hard worker and an adrenaline junky.  She’s not happy unless she’s doing something productive or fun.  She runs hard all day, then sleeps deeply for 6 hours before jumping up to train or cook breakfast.  She sometimes seems like a bundle of nervous energy, especially when you ask her to sit still.  She was mistaken for hyperactive repeatedly as a child, but she truly has no trouble focusing on her studies or anything else she needs to do.

Background: Sachiko Morisato immigrated to California some time ago with her young son when she made too many enemies of the Japanese magi.  A hereditary priestess as well as Martial Artist Mage and seamstress, Sachiko is older than she looks, a Master of Matter with extensive array of spiritual, telepathic, and life-based powers to compliment those abilities.  Her most recent hobbies include fan-subbing anime and rebuilding old cars.

She was able to acquire a Node and concentrate it as the Cherry Blossom Temple outside of Santa Barbra.  Parishioners of Shinto from all over California come there to worship on major holidays, acquiring lucky arrows and other talismans appropriate to the season.  The shrine is open to other alternative religions, and the curious know that, if they come with open and respectful minds, they’ll find well informed priests.

Her son Takumi runs a small martial arts dojo when not helping out around the temple.  He is known and respected as a martial arts and athletics sensei who sometimes helps people out with their problems a la Quai Chane Kain, rewards being accepted but not asked for.

He’s a bachelor with a slight (and sometimes exaggerated) reputation as a playboy, more because the women he falls in love with either move on after passionate affairs or die than because he engages in overly casual relationships.  One such woman was a blue eyed and busty Rom named Catalina, who died baring him a daughter.

At least, that’s what they told Kumiko.  She recently gained the courage to peer back in time to the moment of her mother’s death and saw herself cradled in the arms of an elf, when men with iron knives burst down the door.  (OR whatever else the storyteller considers an appropriate plot hook.)

Takumi loves his daughter Kumiko very much, and they spend a lot of time training together, translating anime, hunting demons, and just dining as a family.  Their relationship is sometimes strained, though, by Kumiko’s guilt over her mother dying in childbirth and growing independence issues based on being a 20 year old who still lives at home and is going into the family business.

Kumiko was noted as a gifted athlete and martial artist by her father and teachers right from the start.  Neither the best nor worst student in school, she generally managed Bs and Cs with minimal effort.  She did have a few mental talents, though.  She picked up on languages fast, being equally fluent in English, Japanese, Cantonese and Spanish.  She does occasionally slip into a sort of “border speech” and mix her languages, especially when she’s nervous.
She kept very busy growing up, doing little with her family besides training and translating anime.  Her friends were mostly boys and a few girls who shared her love of martial arts or skating, and they formed a sort of spook squad together.  She did have one boyfriend named Ben Kendal in high school, and her relationship with him grew passionate, but dissolved when he was unwilling to give up his virginity with her.  The tension grew too great, and he, being a more cerebral boy, couldn’t really keep up with his highly athletic girlfriend.

Her skater crew narrowed down to a spook squad with the strength of will to do investigative work pertaining to her family’s “second job”, demon hunting, and narrowed to a crew of 5 others, John Steel, Jackie Lee, Kokoro Kino, and Ian and Naomi Silverstien.  However, they separated out to various colleges while Kumiko devoted 2 years to the Olympics.

Abilities/Disabilities:
Mundane:  Kumiko is one of the world’s top athletes, perhaps THE world’s top skater, if a gold medal and the ability to perform martial arts in roller blades means anything, and a great gymnast, and martial artist enough to, with a bit of help from her magic, fight Vampires hand to hand.
She is multilingual, able to think in five languages, and read and write the Latin alphabet, Chinese characters, and the Japanese phonetic alphabets Hiragana and Katakana.
Otherwise her academic skills are, not poor, but unimpressive.  She did well in high school, and is studied in culture, religion, and philosophy, but hasn’t’ been to college and has spent more time skating and watching anime than reading.
   Supernatural:
As an Awakened Miko (temple girl) Kumiko is able to sense, speak with, and even summon, banish, and wound spirits.  The last three abilities require either prayer strips or some other form of writing.
She is also a limited mentalist, able to awaken her own mind to great mental feats through martial arts or mediation, and, through concentration or martial arts focus, perceive and project, but not really influence, emotions.
She has rudimentary mastery of raw energy, able to absorb extra power from holy ground, freeholds, etc, through mediation or a fire focus, and empower herself and her weapons with said raw energy to deal telling wounds to supernatural creatures.
Her Arete, though, has always been in the manipulation of Time.  She hasn’t needed to wear a watch since junior high.  Through mediation with fire or water, she can peer back into time, or receive visions of possible futures.
Through martial arts maneuvers and the expenditure of a little extra energy, her chronomancy becomes devastating.  She can accelerate to fight multiple opponents through multiple actions, or invest a single dodge or strike with devastating speed and power.
Kumiko wears a kimono that is tied to the spirit of an ancient cherry tree.  This kimono is sewn by her grandmother from True Silk. It is, in and of itself, completely invulnerable.  This offers its wearer limited protection from physical harm, particularly piercing and slashing weapons, but little from blunt trauma.  The spirit of the cherry tree will absorb her wounds into the much more durable body of the tree over a period of hours, giving Kumiko a remarkable healing factor compared to mortals, albeit nothing on vampires or werewolves. As a final gift, it’s flared sleeves offer a small quantity of “storage space” by storing a few dozen items such as stakes, daggers, a Zippo, a wallet, and calligraphy kits in the spirit world for ready accessibility.
In the spring, the spirit of the tree becomes mischievously passionate to the point of light malice, and may play subtle poltergeist like pranks.
Her skates and safety pads, like the kimono, are augmented and made invulnerable by her grandmother.

Paranormal Disadvantages:
Kumiko’s power, along with her investment of imagination into anime, has a few drawbacks…
Masks always initially fool her, and even the most obvious mask will require a tip off and concentrated act of will to recognize as such.
The weather, leaves, flower petals, and ravens respond to her emotions in superficial but attention drawing ways.  The wind always catches her hair at just the right dramatically appropriate moment, which can make a positive impression, but also tends to stick in people’s minds.  She can sometimes be noticed by looking for ravens following her around.
As to a delicate matter, Kumiko’s psychology and destiny have a slightly unnatural reaction to sexual molestation, one that can twist her personality in the short term while protecting her psychology in the long term.  Her body responds to forced pleasure in ways more appropriate to hentai anime than to real life, and a skilled molester can implant suggestions and even short term brainwashing into her mind.  In the long term, however, she has a certain “anime-buffer” against the trauma of such rape, much the way she hides from violent trauma’s by acting like an anime character.
Brutalization, of course, is never anything other than brutalization, even in anime.

Game Limits: Site Rules.

Notes: (As needed to describe entourages, familiars, etc.)
Kumiko owns a van augmented by her grandmother, the back of which has been converted into a small living area with a roll out futon, lap top desk, and mini refrigerator.

I'm trying to run a more street based game so there will be no '5' ratings in abilities or attritubes (outside supernatural modifiers, of course).

Please list all of your freebie usage.

To be honest the background seems... Horrifically cheesy. I know that mages are inherantly colourful characters, but there's a certain line between believeability and Cheese. What with the priestess/fan-subber/car-mechanic/demon hunter with a Martial arts dojo (That possesses no prejudice at all, I might add). There's nothing wrong with the character itself, though. It's just the background that needs to, erm, settle down.

What is she doing in Talis Canyon?

What appearance does her avatar take?

Also please answer these questions

1. What are your goals as a player? What do you want your character to do or experience?

2. What are your Character's goals? What does he or she want?

3. What paticular Genre do you want for this game? A Mystery? An Adventure? How much sex? Little? A lot? When it makes sense for the plot?

4. Anything you want to add?

I've decided to start the game as people finish making their characters. Ida, since you're the only one finished, you're up.

Kumiko owns a van armored and restored by her grandmother, the back of which has been converted into a small living area with a roll out futon, lap top desk, and mini refrigerator.

1. What are your goals as a player? What do you want your character to do or experience?:  In this adaptation, Kumiko's mother was a sidhe.  She's currently very angry at her parents for not telling her that her mother was murdered, which resulted in her bearing the burden of guilt (if only in her own mind.)  Now her time magic has poitned her towards Talis Canyon as a place she might find her mother's killers.  The only changeling she's known in the past was a pooka named Lynx, played by Bishrook, so unless Bishrook decides to play she'll be wandeirng a bit lost, looking for Mage connections and changelings who can help her find her mother's murderer.

2. What are your Character's goals? What does he or she want?

3. What paticular Genre do you want for this game? A Mystery? An Adventure? How much sex? Little? A lot? When it makes sense for the plot?:  Both mystery and adventure are good.  If Kumiko is half sidhe, then a journey of self discovery into the near dreaming might be apropriate.  Kumiko is a virgin, but passionate in nature, so sex when apropriate to the plot might be nice, coupled with the idea that Kumiko is a young woman out of the house for the first time, looking for new experiences and ways to piss her family off.  The right satyr or sidhe, either male or female, might easily throw out all of her romantic ideals in a moment of passion.  Likewise, non-consensual sex can be used to control her in the short term, if you're intrested this could make both fun scenes and good plot devices.

4. Anything you want to add?
I really can't see the cheese you're speaking of, though since you're limiting us to 4s in both atributes and abilities I took out the Olympics.  Kumiko's grandmother Sachiko originaly worked with clothes, but over her lifespan got bored with just sewing and loooked for other things to sew.  Doesn't it seem reasonable that a student of the matter sphere over a hundred years old would start to spread out and explore other sorts of matter?  Lot's of japanese/americans fan-translate anime, they have the background in both langueges to do it.  Takumi runs the dojo, Sachiko works with cars and is the priestess, and Kumiko is the athlete.  The things they all do together are fight the Ascenion war ("demon hunting"), translate anime, eat, and train.

Due to Family Guilttripping, I find myself at my parent's house for the holidays. As such, there is limited opportunity for writing smut for perverts like you. So, I won't be able to post much for a while. Sorry, folks.

Sorry I'm just not interested if this was a vampire game or something I have books for, and I could just hang out and have fun not worry about having to fight maybe I'd play. But frankly its kind of hard for me without other players in the same boat.

You don't need any of the other books to play; all storylines are custom made to the characters. If you're character isn't a fighter, then chances are she isn't going to be fighting. Ida's storyline, for example, will have little chance that her character will get involved in a physical fight.

Though I can understand if you don't want to proceed. It's just a game, after all.

I also don't do COMPLICATED either I tend to favor focused characters in SUPPORT roles to others. Example in the WoD setting if I play a vampire I'm usually the well-connected one that you go to to get something done OR once I was a Kindred physician specializing in the vampire condition (even had Sabbat patients as she followed the Hippocratic Oath). In a mortal game where there were hunters I ran a doctor. Generally I support OTHER characters and role-play with them not do any thinking or major activities. So in a solo game what would I really do the second you hit a curve ball I'd be lost I don't really want to think much or get all into confusing plots.

Oh... well... Um... I was going to throw her into twisted mysteries and emotional games, but I guess that wouldn't match your play style. I guess this isn't the game for you, then.

Muse

Okay, new concept coming at you, I have to find seven poitns of flaws.

The primary one would be that she has an obligation to help Fey in need and to assist House Liam in any way they request.

Catalina Waters:
Height 6’1”
Weight 180lbs
Hair: Curly with streaks of strawberry blonde and auburn, falls to the small of her back.  Often pulled back with a sword shaped hair pin that, when removed from the barette, becomes a full sized magically enhanced claymore, a gift from Anais.
Eyes:  Jade Green
Skin: Caucasian, but well tanned.
Outfits: She wears a chocker of green jade medallions linked by golden wire as her signature, and Anais has provided a matching barrette with a sword hair pin that transforms into an enchanted claymore.  Her favorite outfit is a white lace top, bare midriff, with either a light jade green skirt, knee length, or darker slacks, and a forest green long coat.  She has a predilection for combat boots, but also favors ballet slippers.  Like many pagans, Catalina prefers to go bare foot in casual situations.
Car: Old pink Cadilac sports sedan with a powerful engine, lovingly restored and maintained.

Catalina Waters thinks her father is Emanuel De Vasques of Barcelona, but could have been any number of men at that party.  Her mother, Abagail Waters, was a witch, a hippie, a dedicated member of the SCA, and a little bit too fond of marijuana and group sex.
She didn't know her pills had failed 'til three months after the party at which Catalina is believed to have been conceived, but loved her well all the same, settling down a bit to be a more responsible parent, getting a real job since her teachers refused to let her profit from the Craft, and working hard.  She gave her daughter her religion and magic.
Unfortunately she eventually passed on her drug habit as well.

Catalina had her mother's bright mind and curiosity, and was also a serious athlete.  Early on in life she learned swordsmanship at the SCA, martial arts, gymnastics, and dance at the Y.

She did some singing too.  It wasn't a serious pursuit, but it got her into the theater, which she fell in love with utterly.

Unfortunately, in high school both Cat’s and her mother's marijuana habits were starting to get into the way.  (Possibly her mother’s latest boyfriend was an even worse druggie.)  Her mother also lost her job.  After being an A/B student all her life, Cat's senior year she dropped all her extra curricular activities to dance at a sleazy strip club to earn money to pay the bills and get her next fix.

She flunked out of high school her senior year and, a few months later, was caught reeking of marijuana with a lap dance customer's member in her mouth when the police raided her work.

After a month in jail, she got out and into rehab.  In rehab, she spent a whole lot of time in the gym sweating all the shit out of her system.

After completion of rehab, and a personal oath to the Lord and Lady never to touch anything stronger than alcohol again, she got out of rehab with a clean bill of health and a huge debt.  It was at that point where she started dreaming of a swan and her Craft started getting…

Stronger.

Out of rehab, she was approached by Rose Du’Paxe, a French Verbena, who mentored her further in the Craft while introducing her to the world of the Awakened and getting her a job dancing for a high priced and respectable strippers firm.  She was no longer expected to touch her clients, though she could make an extra five hundred a night by doing a lesbian dance with her friend Jane.

She saved up and trained for two years, then went on a two year training trip in Europe and china, learning more of the martial arts and the occult world.  She trained under a House Liam Swordmaster and received Seven Leauge Boots and a Sword Barette in return for an oath to always go to the aid of innocent fae in danger and to aid House Liam whenever asked or whenever need was apparent.  .

Here’s the point where I'm not clear on a few things.  She leaves home now, but I don't know what happened to her mother, whether she got into rehab as well, or whether her situation degenerated.

I know that, to pay the bills, she got a job for a respectable, high paying exotic dance company like Tiffany used to work for, and saved intesnivly for a year to get her debts paid off and put a lot of money aside.

She has now returned to her home town and resumed her job, only to discover that the ascension war seems won.  She breezed through a college degree in Theater with a specialty in Fight Direction and a minor in Dance.  Now a member of the American Association of Fight Directors, she’s looking for a new challenge, either something arcane to hold her here, or a trip to LA to work in the movies.

She is now 28, but actually 27 since she spent a year in a Freehold.

Alrighty, looks decent, but incomplete. From a quick glance-over, I can tell you that Mage's don't use the Treasure background, they use Wonder (which includes magic stuff from other origins; fetishes, natural artifacts, what-have-you). The action-boosting treaure would be Wonder 3 (for time 3 for the effect).

The Fae connection comes right out of left field. Why would a fiona train her in the first place? Why would he/she take that risk? How does he/she even know catalina?
How would an intellgence 2 person be a A/B student?
What's her dynamic resonance?
Why does she have melee 5?

I know that this is just a first draft, just things to consider when you finish it up. Don't forget to add the questions when you're done.
