It's so frikkin  hot right now I swear I'm actually melting! This is why I prefer winter, if I get cold I just put clothes on. But when it's to hot I'm screwed, there's a limit on how much clothes I can remove. Someone should just put me out of my misery, or pour some water over me.

I'm with you...I hate summer, and living in this part of California is like living in a desert.  We've already had 8 days straight of 100+ (F) 38+ (C)
But I get to fly to Calagary tomorrow, for a whole week, where the temps run about 20 degrees cooler!!!

lol - yea, but they say it's not so bad cause it's a DRY heat! :P
Sauna...steam room...once the temp gets that high I don't see a lot of difference. 
At least we do have A/C

Reality: it's too hot today. I hope it will change soon.

Here in GA it tends to get around 80-83 C during the summer.


The only real problem is. It's also humid heat. So it feels way past 83 C, more around, I don't know 85-90 C!!!

Humid heat is much worse then dry heat. Humid heat is the type that steals the moisture out of your body and causes dehydration to take effect much faster then normal dry heat.

You can't be talking C, you must mean Fahrenheit. 90 C is damn close to the boiling point of water!

well then there is me... A lizard at heart.  basking on a rock, yummmmmy fun. In winter... I can't put too much clothing on because I reach a point I can't move. Clothing is like a straight jacket for most disabled folks... need to be a nudist me thinks.Thats it a nude lizard ;D

I guess it's good there are people like you Hal, who like heat...otherwise cooler places would be way too over populated.
I just don't do a whole lot outside in the summer here.  Anything that requires me to be outside, I do before 10am or after 8pm...that's the only way I can live here.  As soon as I win the lotto though, I'm moving to the California coast...best weather in the world ;)

And yea...Georgia never gets to 80C  ;)

I'm originally from Michigan, where it's hot and humid in the summer but not for very long.  Now I live in Virginia and I think I'm going to melt into a puddle every summer!  I'm definitely a cold weather person living in a hot weather state, but we bought a farm so I'm pretty much stuck here.

Today it only hit 85F, but two or three days ago it hit 100 :(

It hit 119 the other day.  Heck, it was 3 AM one time and it was still 104 degrees outside!   We had a thunderstorm.. it was 91 degrees... it lasted for twenty minutes, then WHAM, back to 109!  @.@


It's so hot here, I've had stuff melt, and burn, inside my car. Paper blackened, plastic boiled and bubbled (Hard plastic, too!!!!), CDs just MELT...

It's been hot and humid here - 100 degrees + lots of humidity. The best part about this is, I work in a greenhouse that has sprinklers going off every five minutes, adding to the heat. It reaches a minimum of 125 in there at the best of times.

Basically, you step inside and start sweating immediately. xD

Hell.. the only place where there's weenies on the barbie, everyone gets hammered and screwed,  the neighbors dont complain about the noise and sin's the game...  but nobody's happy! XD
