The dark elves has taken over the elf world and rules for many years, generation after generation the crown was passed from first son, grandson and great grandson. They are often arrogant and haughty as a result of their advanced age both as a race, and as individuals. They have seen the dawn of time, the birth of man, the changing of countless seasons, all blurred into a history remembered and revered in stories and songs. Their lives are long and know no sickness or disease. In nature they find solace; and for the most part are a peaceful people and mean no harm to those who do no harm. But woe is to those who oppose the dark elves, for to awaken the anger and fury is to most assuredly bring about your own destruction. There is no more revered friend than an elf, and likewise, there is no more feared foe than an angry elf.
The ruling Prince of Varah, he was the most feared dark elf who has ever took place in the throne, nobody dared oppose him. He was the perfect example of the dark elf, harsh, warlike and vicious.
They were cruel, sadistic raiders with much disdain for all other races, especially their lighter kindred the High Elves. Many believe they are the most pure evil of all races.
Yet many years ago when the dark race took the throne, they came with a pact of truce.
Every female born from a light elf was to be wed to a dark elf. With such pact they hoped to extinguish the light elf bloodline completely. Tired from the wars and killing the light elves accepted and not much has changed.

It was time for the prince to take a wife and organized a huge ball attended by all the nobles and high elves. Dark and light elves in the same room. The tension was high and many feared their daughters to enter the castle a maiden a leave engaged.
The females where highly prepared for their destiny and most accepted it easily or ells
Their family name would be doomed and they where expelled from the kingdom.
Mirima, the daughter of one of the most prominent houses in the kingdom and still a light elf only blood line was invited too. Her beauty was highly spoken of and had reached the ear of the prince and many other noble men. The ball was their chance to pick out their future wives and if the prince didn’t choose her, they might have a chance with her.
Revion the son of an other prominent house of the kingdom, a mix of light and dark elves was convinced by his best friend and cousin Daeron to still go to the ball even after the girl he fall in love with Vanya, cousin of Mirima. She was secretly in love with Daeron a light elf. And brush of Revion, breaking his heart in the act.

At the ball Mirima catch a glance of Revion and immediately falls head over heals for him, but Prince Iauron had his eyes set on her, even before knowing who she was.
He had a plan to make her fall head over heals for him, the juice of the magical purple Love-in-idleness flower.
When dripped into someone's eyes, was reputed to cause that individual to fall in love with the next person they see.
Before, milk-white, now purple with love's wound, And maidens call it love-in-idleness.

It was a white, 3-petaled flower that turns pink with age, the perfect weapon
Prince Iauron was a very jealous man and demanded pure everlasting love, even if he had to force it from the woman he wanted.

After the ball prince iauron send out a message, calling out all the male elves. A once in a lifetime favor. Who ever can find the Love-in-idleness flower would be granted anything their heart wished for. Not divulging any evil plan he had in mind for the flower.

Prince Iauron:

Mirima:
the daughter of one of the most prominent houses in the kingdom, a light elf and part of the only light elf bloodline family still.

Revion:
the son of an other prominent house of the kingdom, a mix of light and dark elves, with a more dominant dark elf side

Vanya:
love interest from Revion and a light elf but she is really in love with his cousin Daeron and she is the cousin of Mirima

Daeron
comes from a mix elf family with a  more dominant light elf side, he is cousin and best friend of Revion


PLOT:

-Dark elves and light  elves has agreed on a truce instead of their life long battle for the kingdom. every female coming from a light elf only family must be wed to a dark elf.

-Prince Iauron will do every thing in his hand possible even forcing magic upon Mirima, to have her under his controlling housing. he send knights and other male elves in search for the love flower.

-Mirima is in love with Revion and refuse Prince Iauron, causing stirring at her house and with the kingdom council. a light elf i snot allowed to refuse a dark elf in wedding.

-Revion still in love with Vanya decide to search for the love flower and use it to make Vanya fall in love but it does not go as he planned ...

-Vanya is in love with Daeron but afraid to tell him because, he is cousin of Revion and by not accepting his love and choosing his cousin instead. anything might happen
