TLDR
An RPG sandbox where the players are stricken with a curse and forced to find mcguffins to cure it, lest they fall victim to its mind-altering (read: slut-ifying) effects.  Players can go wherever they like, although horrible danger of a usually sexual nature is around every corner, not to mention the clock is ticking...

(Applications are Closed)  Thanks for all the interest!

A Brief Story
3000 years ago, in what's now known as Laughing Fey Forest, there was a Satyr by the name of Vrixiel.  Though handsome and seductive, Vrixiel was also arrogant and brash and he split his time evenly between seducing females and then boasting about it to anyone in earshot.  During a particularly inebriated round of boasting, Virxiel claimed he could have any woman he desired, including the queen of the dryads.  Unfortunately for him, this was during a party the queen was attending.  Rather than have him horsewhipped like most people would assume, she invited him to her bedchamber.  Vrixiel, swelled with pride, accepted without a second thought and ended up waking outside the queen's home a week later with no memory of what happened inside.

In the days that followed, rumors reached the satyr's ears that a "Shrine to Vrixiel" had been erected of magical stone and wood and that "All who aspire to his greatness should visit."  Naturally, having assumed he had been a sexual dynamo of legendary proportions with the queen, Vrixiel set off to the forest shrine.  He arrived, greeted by carved mosaics of sexual conquest and general hedonism on every wall.  In the center of the shrine was an altar, decorated with flowers and a cloak so well-made it would be fit for a fey king.   Assuming it was for him, Vrixiel donned the cloak, finding it befitting of his stature and relaxed on the altar, drinking in what he thought was his well-deserved adulation.

His celebratory nap was cut short, however, when he woke up to find the cloak vanished from his back... and his body changed to resemble that of a particularly plain-looking nymph (beautiful but not BLINDINGLY so).  Worse yet, he was dressed in an outfit that even a satyr might judge as too provocative... and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remove it.  Vrixiel ran from the shrine and headed back into the forest to his home to seek help... but he found his senses were a little bit dulled and his head a little bit cloudy and his body just a little bit hot...  He quickly became lost in the forest and found his voice and memory failed him when he tried to tell others of what happened to him.  When he finally returned, days later, his memory of the man he was, as well as his intellect, had entirely drained from him, replaced with nothing more than a dull, cloudy haze of sexual need.  He soon found himself happily being passed around his circle of satyr friends as a sex toy and that ended the tale of Vrixiel.

Most intelligent fey could deduce what happened, but most kept the shrine's curse a secret, hoping to lure anyone who aspired to be like the arrogant Vrixiel into the same trap.  Unfortunately, that fact and the passage of time made the tales of the shrine... fuzzy to say the least.  Bard's tales of the shrine shift between describing the place as teeming with powerful fey artifacts, a place where adventurers vanish without a trace and a place where loose women congregate.  Sometimes the tales would combine all three.  Most locals, however, are at least aware the shrine is cursed with a few magically-adept ones knowing the full nature of it.

YOU however, are not aware of this.  You're from out of town and as far as you know the shrine just holds some pretty sweet magic items you can make use of.

Where do you fit in?
Were you lured to this region by the local king calling for adventurers to help slay the dangerous monsters that plague his land?
Perhaps the mysterious ruins of magical nature that dot the landscape called to you?
Maybe you were run out of your village in the northern badlands into this kingdom by a band of marauding orcs or minotaur?
Could you be a mere sell-sword the kingdom hired to fight in its war that ended not a week ago, now cast out and searching for work?
Were you here chasing (or joining) a band of southern slavers who prey on the populace, lured by the rumors of the occasional  lust-starved woman who appears from the forest?
Or maybe the rumor of there being occasionally lust-starved women appearing randomly out of the forest was enough for you.

Either way, you're about to embark on what can only charitably be described as an adventure, though it's probably going to feel a bit more like a panicked run-around.

Players will start off in The Shrine of the Baleful Fey, presented with a piece of armor they could only dream about.  We're talking +3 Adamantine Breastplates, Belt of Physical Perfection +4, or a Headband of mental prowess +4, or similarly tempting items, something the character would utterly crave.  Unfortunately,  as you might have guessed, the items are cursed, provide no magical benefit and magically puts whatever clothes you were wearing into your backpack to be replaced with something skimpy and provocative.  It also polymorphs you into an attractive female or simply a more attractive female as the case may be.  (DM note: This can keep you male and/or maybe just turn you more effeminate, I can be flexible here.  Just remember that the setting is rife with perverted male antagonists.).

What happens next is entirely up to the players!  Though if I were them, I would seek advice on how to lift this curse with rather a lot of haste.  You DID hear of a knowledgeable local alchemist in the thorp of Windal...

What you should expect:

  • This setting will be lousy with threats of a sexual nature.  For reasons I can only describe as "this is kind of a porn game" most every location outside of the starter town will have SOME kind of threat which will be more than happy to take advantage of an attractive yet helpless adventurer.
  • Travel time, food and money will be monitored very closely as the players are on a time limit and gold does not rain from the sky like in most adventures.
  • In keeping with the pervy nature of the game, you should expect a lot of non-lethal damage and grapple checks.  Very few things will want to see you dead.
  • Monsterous Humanoids, Tentacles, Slimes, Baleful Polymorphs, Magic, Slavery and Bondage will be common themes.
  • Curse of the Spoiled Nymph will force you to make daily will saves, lest it addle your mind just a little bit more.  It also gets a power it can use 3 times a day, rolling against your willpower to replace your clothing again, with whatever it likes, though it'll generally be something that makes whatever situation you're in harder or more awkward, or both.  Luckily, your clothing appears in your backpack again.
  • Your character will be unable to remember what cursed them and if they DO piece it together, the curse prevents them from describing it.
  • Standard 15-point buy... maybe 20 if everyone really wants it.
  • There are Bad Endings.
  • You can soldier on even despite capture with the only true failure state being the entire party succumbing to the curse or dying as the case may be.  Granted, there will be magic the party will be poorly-equipped to deal with...
  • Despite all this, I'm usually very accommodating as a GM and I probably won't force you into something you don't want.

What I need from you:

  • A Character Idea!    Don't ACTUALLY stat out the character yet, not until things are decided upon.  You CANNOT be a local.  The setting hinges on you being from outside the kingdom and knowing little of its dangers.
  • A System Preference!   This has Pathfinder in mind and most people seem to lean towards it but I'm still keeping FATE open as far less rules-heavy option if people prefer it.   [EDIT:  This is looking very much Pathfinder barring a complete change in player preference]
  • What You Want!  If you've read this far and want to play the game there must be SOMETHING that appeals to you.  What is it?  What do you hope to get out of this game?  What do you EXPECT to get out of this game?
  • Kinks!  What erotic elements would you like?   How should erotic elements be handled? Fade to black?  DM describing your horrible fate?  Do you want your characters to be disposable and left to Bad Ends and have new ones join up?
  • Anything Else!  Comments and criticism are welcomed.

[EDIT: More Notes]
Final Notes:
That's the world map up there.
I may do some minor god-modding to keep the game moving, especially during combats.
I probably won't take more than 6 people, if we even get that many applicants.  1 spot is reserved.
This is a porny game and I'm new at DMing play by posts so please be patient with me and try not to take it TOO seriously.
Power-gamers may find Survival, Escape Artist, Sense Motive, Disable Device, and Knowledge (Local, Nature and Arcana) to be especially helpful.  Though if you're trying that hard to win you may be missing the point.
I would prefer if players post at least 4 times a week, hopefully more if the party has a back and forth conversation or a combat.
Length is however much you feel you need.
Initative will matter as to who acts first but you can post in any order and I'll have actions go off accordingly.

Muse

Good morning.  I'd love a chance to play in this if you use pathfinder?

My first thought is that I'd play a Mousey young wizard named Aiden Nightstone.  She's from a costal city with a university.  When she was 11, her parents sailed away on a mission of exploration from whihc they never returned.  They left Aiden with money to study at the university 'til a year after they were supposed ot return and her father's magic ring--the Nightstone, which Aiden uses as an Arcane Bond.

Upon donning what she believes to be a headband of vast intilect, our shy, mousey virgin bookworm is transmuted into an underdressed blond bombshell.  :)

Annnnd I am definitely in as you well know.

Character Idea: The current thought is a smug, cocky mercenary-sort who decided to go to sort out the matter of this shrine as the result of a drunken dare. Unfortunately, the resulting hangover from all the ale made it so that he blocked out all the warnings about curses and terrible dooms. The character would definitely be the type that would struggle with being taken down a notch by the general experience and would probably get in over their head pretty quickly.

System Preference: Pathfinder is fiiiine. FATE is fiiiine. Whatever you are most comfortable with.

What Do You Want: Slutty costumes. Yes. Don't judge me!

Kinks: Always fond of slutty clothing, humiliation, facials, light bondage, spankings, and general dickings. Not fond of watersports, scat, or vore. Fairly standard stuff.

Anything Else: Yay this exists!
Ons and Offs

Always free for a little teasing back and forth. Or suggestions to titles to make this exhibitionist squirm! I adore silly little PMs.

Chulanowa

You have my interest! I'm about to head out the door so don't have anidea just yet...

Grizzly

Interested as well.  I'll need to let my muse dwell on a story but I'm sure that I can come up with something.
We few, we happy few, we band of writers;
For they this day that share words with me
Shall be my fellow; be they ne'er so vile,

Rune

Very interested in this idea!

A Character Idea!
Prince Kareth was the second son of a minor King to the land of Albion. As second son, he was not heir to the throne and instead took service as a knight. Hearing tales of adventure, he journeyed to the unexplored lands seeking fotune and maidens to rescue. Basically, she is a submissive that thinks she is a dominant, but just needs to be proven wrong.

A System Preference!   Pathfinder is a little crunchy but I really dont like fate. I would prefer a simpler system like Herores & Witchery or Labrynth Lord.

What You Want!  Out of this game?  What do you EXPECT to get out of this game? The Prince is seeking to rescue damsels in distress. He never expected to become a damsel in distress. Of course he will fight his new urges and still try to act manly, but situations should force him to rely upon his feminine charm and act the part of a pretty Princess. Eventually he may meet a hero who will rescue her and cause her to embrace her new life.

Kinks!  What erotic elements would you like?   How should erotic elements be handled? Fade to black?  DM describing your horrible fate?  Do you want your characters to be disposable and left to Bad Ends and have new ones join up?

I don't mind details over fade to black. However I rather not have the characters disposable. I rather invest the time developing their personalities, the conflict of acceptance and being forces to admit who they have become. I am good with bondage. Being made helpless and forced to act like the girl she appears to be.

Anything Else!  Comments and criticism are welcomed.

Snake

I"m interested but only if it's pathfinder. (as I'm not familiar with other systems.)

Sain

A Character Idea!  Did I read possible opening for trap characters  :-) I'll need answer to one question before I think of anything (see Anything Else)

A System Preference! Fate is cool. Whatever works. PF can be handled without strict combat rules pretty easy too if you wanna keep things smooth.

Anything Else! The setup looks pretty interesting, but I'd like to know what kind of posing pace/length are you looking for? A few lines at a time and things moving fast, several paragraphs with details or something in between?

The Curse works in Mysterious Ways and the setting is porn-heavy enough that antagonists don't discriminate with pretty faces.

I would prefer if players post at least 4 times a week, hopefully more if the party has a back and forth conversation or a combat.
Length is however much you feel you need.  Longer delays between posts may require more detail, etc.  Use your own judgement.

As I mentioned, I don't want combat to drag so Initative will be handled with not much strictness and with generous ret-conning if the need arises.
Initative will matter as to who acts first but you can post in any order and I'll have actions go off accordingly.
If one person doesn't post for a day, I'll make a logical and safe choice for their actions and we'll move on, again with generous ret-conning if absolutely needed.   I'll reserve the right to hand-wave combat if it seems like the party will win easily.

Blue Leah

I am definitely intrigued.

Character idea:
-->Either a Spellscar oracle or a Wild Experimenter, focused on the applications of Primal Magic on the battlefield. Basically, a character who relies on unstable forces to empower themselves, and engage with the battlefield. I like the idea of emulating the "Unstable Superpower" archetype seen in films recently, who came to the shrine in hopes of finding something that would either grant her more control, or amplify the strength of the primal energies she wields.

System Preference:
-->Definitely Pathfinder. :3

Expectations:
-->I like my character to at least have a chance to get out of bad ends, though I don't mind if she does fall at some point in the story. The threat is part of the fun.

Kinks:
--> I'm pretty open here. I don't mind a character falling over the course of an adventure, and I don't mind any of the things we were warned about in the intro. It sounds like fun. :3

Anything Else:
--> How bad of an idea is it to play any kind of an Int-based caster in this? :P

AnneReinard

Oh gosh, now I have no clue.

Bard is nice...

But a Paladin dragged down into corruption is nice too...

Or a pretty little Sorceress...

Decisions are hard! At least there doesn't have to be too much worry about being a competent party?
Ons and Offs

Seems like preferences are leaning pretty heavily towards Pathfinder at this point, so it's likely we'll stick with that barring some truly unforseen circumstances.

The are CERTAIN places where characters run the risk of being baleful polymorphed which may end your adventuring carrer but these are rare, usually obviously TERRIBLE ideas, or only happen when you're all but resigned to having the curse control you anyway.

Don't worry about playing int-based characters either.   While the fluff suggests Int and Wis drain, the curse only mechanically penalizes your will saves along with a few uncomfortable surprises in the later stages.

Snake

15-point buy though? That's fairly low. you'd be stronger using an NPC elite array in that case. xD

Aylinas

I mean... 15 Point Buy is standard for most adventures.

I'm willing to bump it up to 20 if the players demand it but I feel having fairly average-power characters fits the setting.

Blue Leah

Cool. I think an Alchemist would be my focus then. Lots of fun, Faustian things I could do with a Wild Magic alchemist.

Yarnover

A Character Idea!   I would like to play a female paladin who's rather low-ranking but dedicated. She was either against coming to the temple (if part of a larger party) or ended up there by happenstance (if traveling alone). She's assertive, fair and prudish. Could be fun!
A System Preference!   I only have some experience with Pathfinder
What You Want! I like the opportunity to put my character into awkward situations. Being forced to deal with clothing substitutions and unwanted sexual advances give me a happy challenge to write about. I'm still fleshing out what I like and don't like but in general I'd like to stay away from actual rape scenes and would rather have her come to enjoy sexual scenarios, if that makes sense. (Though she probably would never admit it.
Kinks!  Pretty much any and all elements of BDSM.  Body worship is great (especially if it's aimed at her and gets her to open up about her sexual side and love her own body)

As for the following:  "How should erotic elements be handled? Fade to black?  DM describing your horrible fate?  Do you want your characters to be disposable and left to Bad Ends and have new ones join up?" I'm up for a variety of scenarios. I'd rather not have my character(s) become completely disposable, but I wouldn't mind giving them up to an (un?)happily-ever-after eventually.
Anything Else!  I'm still relatively new to erotic gaming, just wanted to disclose that.

I am also interested. I think that if I played a character, it'd be a female (class not really picked out yet) who puts on a tough facade to keep herself safe, mis-representing herself as someone else for the sake of her own interests (such as lying and claiming that she's experienced sex many times before and that it's overrated, despite never having had it before.) She might be a paid mercenary, misled by rumors or antagonistic folks looking to get rid of her.

Edit: Actually, a country-type character could also be fun, or someone escaped from slavers.

System Pref:
Pathfinder, yes please.

What You Want: Awkward situations can be very fun. I'm fine with just about anything as long as there's quality to it. Bad ends are fine, though I would recommend having 1d2 or 1d3 worth of deus ex machinas to get out? Just a suggestion, anyway.

Kinks: O/Os tell all, but major kinks are bondage, futa, non-con, eggs, impreg, etc. Basically, if it's not in my Offs, I'm at least willing to try it once.

Handling erotic elements: Perhaps a separate thread for smut to be played out? I really don't like the whole fade-to-black thing.  Depending on what happens, I'd be willing to roll up a new character, but it depends entirely on the situation. Willing to reroll, but...situations.

Anything Else: Hi. :3
On's and Offs -  Please read before asking for a story <3

DomJoe

Welp, this is right up my alley. Color me interested!

A Character Idea!  I have too many Pathfinder character ideas to play, but 2 come to the forefront. The first is a swashbuckling red-head who's at best a wanderer and at worst a vagabond looking for quick cash to sustain herself. Needless to say, the rumors of sweet loot would lure her in like no-one's business. The other would be a warpriest from another land, looking to cleanse the area of monsters and fey. Ideas may vary due to sudden ideas/character creation stuffs.

A System Preference!  I've personally fallen in love with 5e, but I'm more than happy to play some Pathfinder.

What You Want! Jeez, I kinda win either way with this roleplay to be honest, so.... (shrug). Kinks might be a good place to start

Kinks!  Tentacle monsters, futas, gangbangs, demons, transformations, just about the whole adventure is promising alot of fun for me. I think it'd be easier to list things I don't like, but that can be seen in my role play preferences if you really want to check that. I personally like writing what happens to my characters in collaboration with the DM, and while I'd like for my characters to go on for as long as possible, I will Bad End if it seems 100% appropriate to do so.

Anything Else! Well, you haven't stated what level we start at and other character creation details. Those would be welcome, as well as which content from which books/sources would be useable. If it is Pathfinder, I would suggest at least a 20-point buy system, or rolls. 15 is just too little to enjoy.

Snake

A Character Idea!   Atm, a Female Kitsune Thief. OR a Male gladiator seeking riches.

   System! Pathfinder

What You Want!  To have fun really. That's all.

Kinks!  What erotic elements would you like?   Depends on Characters but mostly tentacles or bestiality; though I'm willing to try quite a few things.  Just not Guro/waterworks/Scat/Vore etc

And I don't mind "sexy" bad ends but character death bad ends suck hard.  I'd prefer to have some chance to overturn bad ends to continue on or something

    Anything Else!  Not really

I'd like to start at level 1 and, again, I'm willing to bump it to 20 point buy if the players desire it, though I do feel strong characters sort of defeat the point of the game.

If you want to be safe, stick to the core rule books. The SRD has some over-powered and DM-only spells listed and if you pick a blatantly broken, 3rd party option I may step in and nix it on a case by case basis.  Check what the source is on the spells/abilities and just use your best judgement as to what's fair.
I'm pretty lenient as a DM but overpowered characters DO suck away fun from the others.

As I mentioned in the intro, it is highly unlikely I will force you to die or have a bad end if you don't want.   Accidental Deadifying and Bad Ends (even the ones you really, REALLY should see coming) can be ignored/ret-conned/dues-ex-machinaed so the player can keep enjoying the game.   I only mentioned "disposable" characters because some people enjoy the idea of leaving someone to a horrible fate.

Definitely interested, will provide the requested information later when it's not past midnight in Europeland. I favor Fate Accelerated the most, though -- it just gives a lot more creative wiggle room and really focuses on the narrative.

That said, regarding 15 point buy vs. 20 -- there actually is very little difference. 15 point buy usually actually makes the attempts by players to min-max/optimize worse since it's not like you have much room to round a character out with left. I usually advocate granting a different point buy by class choice, even if it may seem unfair at first glance -- a single attribute based caster has far more room to round out by concept and still be effective with their cosmic spell power than, say, a Fighter.
