I worry that I might spread myself too thin, but my muse was hungry for this one!  Let me know what you guys think.  She'll need another mechanic or business man to work with, if she gets incarnated!  Even if she doesn't, I had fun!  xD

A possible character
Character Name:  Brie Caller Graylot

Cannon or Off-Script: It's complicated, but going with early canon

Job in Storybrooke:  Mechanic and Metal Fabricator

Character Concept:  Brie is one of the local mechanics who works at a body shop.  Baubles, trinkets and odd-jobs are her life's delight.  She's an avid welder!  Sheet metal and creations of all types, from bumpers to ducting to pots and pans, Brie does it all.  And she's known for being quite good at her job, when her impulse is captivated!  She's also known for being impulsive, bratty, curious, whimsical, creative, stubborn, and wildly emotional.  Despite being in her early twenties, Brie looks like she simply stopped aging at 17, and moves with an unearthly vitality and grace.  A captivating physical specimen with an hourglass figure and wide, moon-silver-blue eyes, Brie can be the most open and playful girl you've ever met, or the kind of jealous and fickle creature that causes disaster!  She also deals in some exquisite drugs, for those who know how to ask.

Despite all of these otherwise lively aspects, there is one big hurdle a lot of people have when dealing with her.  Brie, either by choice or by tragedy, is mute.  She understands English perfectly, despite apparently having been born French.  But she is forced to play pantomime games or surround herself with people that actually understand what she's trying to say, to get her point across.  As such, she can't strike out on her own in the mechanics and body-shop trade, and needs someone at her side.  One curious way she has to get around this is carrying around small musical instruments, usually a Triangle, to express herself.

Level of Control: Plot twists and GM Control are just fine!

Face Claim: Scarlet Leithold (My thanks to Biblio for this wonderful suggestion!  The image posted is the one that sealed the deal for me!  So expressive!  Perfect!)

Pre-curse identity:

Um, I hope you're talking about a different Jade Weber and not the 11 year old here?

http://www.famousbirthdays.com/people/jade-weber.html

Because even if you didn't intend to use her in anything sexual, using a model under the age of 18 is against the rules here. You can't even link memes with kids or babies in them here.

Edit: I should reiterate. You can post a link, but you can't embed a picture with someone under 18 to show.

And we cannot just relax and let it go. We've learned to cope in ways you never had to." ~Author, Piers Anthony

  Huh?  "reads reads the link*

Right then. I'll be honest, i didn't look up this profile, and just picked what looked like an 18 yo image.  I was aware of the rules, but I really appreciate you making me aware of the rest, because hell no.

  And we're back to Miley..

edit: annnnd fixed!  Maybe I'll find another face claim that isn't Miley later. Bah.

Presta?  How about Scarlett Leithold?  She's 18 and has a few pictures with a top bun, as well as some casual images of her just being adorable.

No worries, it occurred to me that maybe either you didn't know her age or you were referring to a different model by the same name. She looks older than 11 in a lot of her pictures. I noticed she looked very young which is why I checked, but I actually thought she might have been in her mind-teens by her photos so it surprised me that she was actually that young.

Recently I thought of a nice character that I would like to see added to the list. Pinocchio.

Ember Star

Yeah. August was one of those rather important characters that got a little under used in the show I felt. Plus they pretty much wrote him out in an offhand sort of way. It wasn't a bad character, but I should like to see somebody take up Augest and give him more love than he had in the show. Presuming they take canon Pinocchio/August. But I think Aislinn mentioned being interested in seeing Augest in the game earlier in the thread and he does have a semi important role even if it is a side role. So I imagine she might want whoever takes Pinocchio to make him semi canon. Idk. Aislinn?

Yeah. I was going to check the age of the model used when I got a chance, as she looked super young to me. Honestly, I figured you must have checked, so I didn't worry too much, but she didn't look 18 to me at all.

FYI :  The minimum age for this site is 16 and not 18.

Of course,  the players or GM may want the minimum to be 18.  Just thought I'd put that info out there.

Flower

I am not sure what that comment is referring to. However, if it is in regards to the conversation about appropriate images, the rules of the site clearly state you may not use images of people younger than 18. People can write characters 16+ but they have to use adult images for them.

QuoteAll sexual role playing and sexual storytelling must involve physically and mentally mature characters. They must be sixteen years of age or over, and/or the physical and mental equivalent. Yeah. That's a common mistake I find people make. They get the minimum character age mixed up with the minimum model age.

Simplest solution of all: keep it over 18 period. No hassle.  :P

lol. I generally do. But I think the site doesn't because a lot of people like kinky high school story lines and stuff.

Plus the age of consent in a lot of states is 16

Plus the site has people from countries all over the world and they all have their own laws. 18 is a safe bet on most accounts when it comes to this.

Exactly. Plus when it comes to the model thing, because the servers are based in the U.S, U.S law applies and pictures of anyone under 18 connected to something considered pornographic spells big trouble. So just, always check your models ages since there are a lot of child models out there who look older than they are. I've nearly made that mistake myself before. Either because they simply have an old soul look about them, or because photographers dress them, pose them, and do their make-up to make them look older.

Agree completely.

I think the site should keep the minimum character age to 18 as well, as it would be safer and more comfortable across the spectrum, but that's just my personal opinion. I mean, an 18 year old can still be a senior in high school. *shrugs*

I agree too but for the reason that it would make the rules more streamline and have less confusion when it comes to character age vs model age. Having the minimum age be 16 doesn't really bother me, because I don't really consider 18 a magic number and I live in a state where 16 year-old kids can get married with parents permission. Note I said "kids", I don't approve. It isn't like the olden days when my great grand parents got married at that age. Brains aren't even mature until you're at least in your mid 20s. But it's still legal. But the minimum character age here doesn't really affect me much either since I rarely play characters younger than about 20 and 90% of what I do play is mostly none sexual anyway.

Anyway. I feel like that was probably a pointless ramble with no clear opinion. Sorry lol  :P

lol, I'm not yet 24 myself. So I'm one of them "young'uns". Though you wouldn't know it half the time with how I rant about things like politics and how the internet is ruining society and childhoods and how nobody should be allowed to get married until they're at least 25 and how those little idiots in the parking lot need to put on a helmet before they fall off their skateboard and crack their head open. Yeah, I'm basically a cynical little old lady in an almost 24 year-olds body. People my own age look at me like I'm crazy.
