Interest Check - Singles Adult Only Resort

Hey guys, I have never done a group roleplay and am very new to forum role playing. I have had this idea for a little bit and only done it as a one on one role play but thought the idea could be built into something bigger and better.

Aphrodite Resort was a very perticular resort that had only just opened. In the age and days of online dating and easy to access porn site, people seem to find it far more difficult to find someone to date or cater to their kinks. Due to this reason, on a small isolated tropical island of Bermuda, Aphrodite Resort opened. It is a 5 star resort with a twist. It is for singles and adults only. No relationships or married couples are allowed. No children to hold every back.

Each person will have their own agenda coming to the resort. Some may be looking to just be free, sleep around and make the most of it. Some may be recently out of a long term relationship and looking for a rebound. Others are after love and a small few may be looking for something a little more specific, maybe it was to accomplish something off a bucket list like sleeping with a Milf. It really is up to each individual to do what they would like on the island, with no outside interference and nothing else organised by the hotel it is up in the air.

Please let me know your interest and what type of character you are looking to play. I plan on this being quiet an intense short game, each person that comes to the island only gets 2 weeks there so I am hoping to play this game within that time period, after 2 weeks, everyone hops on the plane and goes home.

Thanks doom, Hopefully we can drum up a bit more interest and fill up the rooms at the resort for it's grand opening. In the mean time, I had a go at doing the code for the character sheets. Hopefully this can drive up some interest and give us some idea of how this resort stay can go.

Personality: Outgoing, playful, earnest, optimist. Tacita has earned success the hard way, never compromising her principles, and this has been the ultimate validation that the seriousness with which people treat careers, sex, and their secret selves is folly. There's honesty in her sense of humor, and passion in her anger, and in between, Tacita enjoys the moment without worrying about how it's going to look tomorrow.

Background: It was hard at first. Making it in the film industry is one in a million on any merit. She got her start on shoestring budget slasher films, flying all over the country, to Canada, to Germany. One thing about her resonated with audiences, and the question kept popping up, when will we see a nude scene? Never. Tacita considered herself a serious actress.

She might have languished forever in obscurity if the rising tide of comic book media had not elevated a little web series called Pandora X to the big leagues. A major studio stepped in to infuse Pandora X with cash to forcibly make it the next big thing, and overnight Tacita was receiving the publicity of a starlet, though she played only a bit villain in the first season. Now there's talk of a larger role going forward and rumors of a major motion picture. Tacita has no idea what's going on, but her salary is suddenly seven figures, so that's nice.

Likes & Dislikes: She enjoys learning about geek culture and indulging the interests and fantasies of geek girls, loves her fans, appreciates a sense of humor and keeping it casual, enjoys lounging by the beach but avoids swimming.
It's stuffy seriousness, the pretentious people who put on airs and the overachievers sutured to their careers, which grates her.

Why Choose Aphrodite Resort?: For a fling. The studio asks Ms. Carter to keep her sex life private for the sake of the show, allowing her to write off the resort as a business expense. She's had good experiences with cruises in the past, and Aphrodite Resort strikes her as a little less busy, a little more intimate.

Is this a long term game or more of a short term romp.  Both are fun but a short term romp fits my current time restraints.

Word of warning, I tend to play female characters that are bi or lesbian.  Some people have issues with men playing female characters so I wanted to be upfront with that.

Hey Crash, not a problem, I have no problem with you playing female characters as long as it's convincing. As for long term or short term. I am really not sure. I was hoping for short term, with a constant reboot of players but I guess some people can stay longer than others as is the case with many resorts. I was actually thinking of making my character the Yoga instructor so he tends to stay there non stop but may not have the depth I wanted. I was then thinking a rich multi millionaire who is one of the most eligible bachelors but inherited everything and never worked a day in his life.

Personality: Damian was a typical rich kid who never had to work a day in his life. He was extremely outgoing, full of life and always living his life on the edge. He lived by the expression that ''if you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room.''. Damian was a living the bachelor life and as such he was quiet the player, using his money to often get the woman he wanted. He never looked for love, knowing that most people only wanted to know him because of his wealth and therefore trust and loyalty were something he found hard to find in anyone.

Background: Damian was born to a family who owned a multi national company, making him one of the most wealthy young bachelors in the world. He never had to work a day of his life, getting everything given to him when ever he needed it. Recently his father suggested that he makes some investments of his own as he needed to create a name for himself. Damian always had family issues, his parents were never around, concentrating more on the business than his upbringing. Damian was raised by the staff at his house, effecting his trust even further.

Damian decided to listen to his fathers advice however and at the age of 30, he decided to make his first even investment using the family money. Damian bought an island in Bermuda and became a silent investor in a multi million dollar investment, the Aphrodite resort. Now this is where the joke came in, it was all done to piss his father off, using his money to invest in something to just continue his playboy lifestyle, building a resort for singles so he continue to get women and alcohol all on the company expense.

He does not want it known that he owns the resort however, rather being there to join in with all the fun and who knows, maybe he would even find love!
