High Level Fantasy Game to pass the time

Hello everyone who is currently waiting for Elliquiy to accept or deny you. My name is Zad, and I'll be creating your game today.
Normally, when I'm new to something, I tend to stick somewhere safe, but with this I think I can cope. So here it is. Olduiin's Escapade.

Many years from now, the world will be different. Magic will be forgotten, swords will be relics. Dragons will be legends and humans will rule. Until that time, there is still one last threat, he reason all this was possible.
His name is Olduiin, a red dragon whose greed has overridden his entire life, attacking settlements just for a smattering of glittering prizes. It seems no one can stop this magical beast from destroying the world. But many try regardless.

The latest to try was name Gavinrad Kenaado, and was left alive to spread the horror of Olduiin's warning. He's an aged man now, and warns all except a few that they could not possibly stop the red dragon destroying the world. The ones that do not listen, however, quickly fall on their quest to Olduiin's lair.

Today marks the death of Gavinrad, and the entire village land mourns his death. Several people of mixed races decide, to remember the great man, that they will kill Olduiin and free the world of his tyranny. But the road is long, and the journey perilous.


Ok, now this was a D&D game I made a good three years ago, but never got to play. Hope it helps with our current predicament.

She is 5’5 with black hair that has natural blue highlights. Her eyes glow ultraviolet when angered but she angry almost all the time so her eyes just kind of stay that way.

Biography: She’s an orphan whose adoptive parents died when she was seven. She has lived by stealing and swindling her way from town to town. She hates everyone because the only people who have ever treated her with kindness died due to a mob that was trying to kill her. The only reason she’s going after this Dragon is because Dragons are notorious for their hoard of treasure!

When he died, Dinu took it the hardest, and swore to kill Olduiin in memory of his teacher. His father

“Ah finally a hot meal,” Mino-wa exclaimed to her long time traveling companion while tossing him a biscuit. Grave made an appreciative noise as he finished off his snack. Grave and Mino-wa have traveled together ever since she found him as a pup. Feeling kinship to the pup because, just like her, he was alone in the world. Now it was six years later and they were on their way to the biggest payday they of their lives. Sitting in moderately clean tavern with a full belly Mino-wa contemplated her next step in finding the Dragon’s lair.

Distinguishing Features: Eyes, ears and lithe body.
Biography: Not much to tell, she has spent her life in the forest amidst her people for over a century till a recent trip to a human settlement left her entangled in the hunt for a particular dragon said to have stolen an elven artifact in recent years.

Biography: Kuval is a wizard who has been studying magic since the age of 7.  His master, Edric Tokel, was said to be the greatest of elemental wizards who was able to best some of the evils int he world.  One day, when Kuval was 18, Edric left, though Kuval had only masted Air magic from him.  Edric had left with a small party to try and destroy the great dragon...but they too failed.  A month ago, a survivor had brought Edric's staff and book of magic back to Kuval.  Kuval swore revenge and decided to travel the land in search of companions to fight the dragon.

The woman looked at Ellifain with a superior satisfaction. "Greetings Ellifain." The elven maiden spoke in a tone laced with that same satisfaction. "I'm glad you made it this far. The woods weren't to taxing on you, were they?" Her tone almost holding what sounded like genuine concern, but Ellifain wasn't fooled for a moment. She knew it had been Ilona that had put her in this situation and used her fathers position as an Elder to do it.

"Oh it was no big deal." Ellifain said, quickly regaining her composure. She would die long before she gave this harpy the satisfaction of besting her in anything. "I am surprised though. It isn't often our people let a lylthing wander outside the forest unaccompanied." she said in a friendly tone using the word for child in the elvish language. "Tell me, is everything well back home? I would think the council would be extremely busy if they over looked sending an escort with someone of your standings." Her following smile sweet and laced with honey, she watched as the barb sank in and Ilona struggled to control her own emotions at being called both a spoiled brat of a child and someone needlessly tucked in a corner while the adults talked.

"Tell me." Ellifain continued, unable to stand the woman's presence any longer. "What has brought you so far from home?"

Ilona's eyes pooled over as she regained her miniscule self control and she seemed to stretch up to her full hieght. With an air of self importance she said "The council has decided that you should start your search in Faust and arranged for you to have an audience with the queen herself."

Tilting her head slightly in acknowledgement she made to move past Ilona only to have the woman take a half step into her path. In an overblown tone she said "I hope your journey is a safe one." before adding in a hushed voice "The roads are so dangerous these days. There is no telling what would happen to a woman who doesn't take care."

Her right shoulder hiding her next action from the view of the man behind her, she drew her dagger and placed it tightly against the woman's throat and gripped her tunic to keep her from stepping back. "Perhaps i should show you." she spoke, in a tone of finality.
Using her grip on the woman's tunic to pull her closer, she pressed slightly on the blade forcing the woman to turn her back to her. Her left hand slipping around the woman's waist just after releasing her tunic she smiled once more and spoke in a voice too low for human ears to hear.

"I could slit your throat right here and now and convince everyone in town that you gave me little choice in the matter." A purposely heavy laugh pealed past her lips as she brought them close to the clearly frightened woman's ear. "Or i could do much much worse. I wonder, what would your skin feel like against mine?"

She felt the woman tense and swallow hard. She also felt the shiver that ran through her barely suppressed. Having accomplished what she wanted, she shoved the woman forward then made her way outside, her ears picking up the faintest sounds of laughter from Borgen as she left.

It was a fortnight to Faust but that wouldn't stop her from getting there by tomorrow morning at the latest. Nodding she set out to make good on that goal and missing it only by a scant few hours as she arrived just outside the city walls, taking in the neighboring farm lands as she waited for the gate to open for the day.

why you are of course lol. ok i couldn't stay away for long. im on my phone. so even though i cant rp at the moment, i can still chat. im curious about any ideas or developments you have for this story. i forsee it being a long rp if we do it right. and it could continue on after we slay the dragon.

Yes, it could. I have a giant thing of text, but I think it's too much to put here on this board. I'm going to wait until we all get accepted (if we do) and then put up the countries, the leaders, and such.

i kinda have an opinion on the acceptances here. i cant see someone turning away a perfectly good roleplayer who is a decent person so here is my opinion: maybe the whole ordeal is simply to test a person's interest in roleplay. i arrive at this conclusion based on this: If a site turned out decent roleplayers who were upstanding, then it would make bad publicity for the site since most roleplayers are known on more than one site. My second conclusion is that its an age thing. You can say your umpteen years old but the site staff have no real way to verify this. So they are forced to watch you. And your interactions with others show them all they can learn about you online. So they are able to gague both your ability to handle the site's true content and get a semi accurate view on your age if you have tried to cheat your way in. Now this is all hypothetical and, unless a staff chimes in and says yay or nay, i have no real way to prove it. The logic seems sound but there may also be a simplier reason. To make the site more prominent. Like an exclusive club, the unknown and the feel of membership are highly appealing.

lol in the eragon stories, shades are people possessed by many spirits. they gain incredible strength and magical abilities and their hair and eyes turn red if i remember correctly. but they loose themselves amidst all the souls. ill have to reread the stories for specifics.

lmao yes ellifain is not one for simple strife and leaves others to their own devices. If she interferes then it is best to take heed. she is not one for violence, prefering the calm observant approach to things but if someone gets in her face they arent walking away the victor.

Four sounds a lot like the salvatore character tale for cadderly, the priest. And don't forget TROLLS!!!!

This dragon is a giant wyrm, with near inpenetrable hide, armoured scales and a very dangerous flame breath. Owning this drgon now would be difficult.
You might be able to hurt him, but YOU would need some mad story telling skills to do that.
