Avatar problems!

I'm trying to change my avatar and receiving this error:

An Error Has Occurred!                                      The attachments upload directory is not writable.  Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.

After poking around I assume it has something to do with the server move maybe? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

I would give it a couple of days and see if the issue doesn't resolve by then. :-) There seem to be various issues occurring right now on E, so this might well be another one of those.

"Attachments upload is not writable" means that the folder where avatars are saved is not currently accepting new information, that it's locked at the moment.

So it just is sort of a matter of when Veks can get to flipping the switch. He may have it locked for some sort of update or copyover. Either way, it should be an easy fix, just needs some patience. :)

This should be fixed, by the way. As I explained in the other thread it's because I forgot to change a setting.
