Hi there. how do I insert an image into a message or a thread from a file on my computer?

when I click on the insert image button above the text box I just get two [img] thingys. when I go to drag and drop it just makes a page for my pic?

please help an idiot.

Hey there Heedlessx! Please don't feel like you're an idiot, working out BBCode is fiddly.

To get an image to display, you use the img tags like this;

I hope that helps. Let me know if it doesn't, and we'll work out what's going wrong.

Also, you can't just drag and drop it from your computer -- you'll need to host it somewhere, either on Elliquiy's Wiki or on your own website or a site that allows sharing, like Imgur or the like.

If you're using the image in your signature, Elliquiy requires that it be hosted on the Wiki, I believe.
