That's fine my friend.  My own history I'll dart about the edges of what will undoubtedly be called the Reaper Wars in the Mass Effect universe but I won't add much in the way of details as per the actual story so I don't spoil it too much for those that haven't played or seen the videos for it as I have.  Anyway, just know I'll be making references to different non key events throughout the ME timeline, but otherwise the rest will be my own lol.

About the magic thing: Similar to Star Ocean, Phantasy Star is a SF/Fantasy-mix and so magic does exist there. But it is only usable by so-called "Esper", so it shouldn't become a problem. However there is a derivate of magic, called "Technique", which pretty much everyone can use. I planned for Sarya to know some techniques, but I couldn't give a scientific explanation for that. Should she don't know any techniques then?

Well, as long as you're able to give a believable explanation of some kind, I don't care so much.  Even if the game doesn't explain it, you yourself could try to come up with a way to make it work.

I don't know, if I will be able to do that. But maybe there is an explanation for that, it is an artificial created power based on magic.

Considering the fantasy stuff, I wonder what Sarya should say, if she tells others about the past of her home. While it isn't sure that she even has to say something about it, it can be a bit awkward if she does. After all she would have to say, that they, and the whole Algol system, were threatened by the incarnation of evil, even when she wasn't born back then...

I know nothing about Phantasy Star so you could say whatever you want lol.  It's bordering on the unexplainable but I'll see what happens with what you have in mind and if you're ok with it you may have to forsake or at least adapt the idea to make it work.

We will, and actually, we could almost go ahead and start things up.  If someone could help me out with the link thing so it actually looks nice, I'd appreciate it, but I can set up the OOC, Character thread/Galactic Compendium as I called it earlier lol, and the IC in the EX area today all the same if you want to get the ball rolling at any rate.

Well, head of our group's security forces.  The Council I'll probably just pull the ol NPC route but we do need more people none the less and a PC sheet from Glyph for sure before we get too far.  Also, ideas for an actual Citadel/Capital station are still needed unless you guys just want to use a known one from any number of games lol.  Myself, I'd go for the Citadel as seen in ME, but that might be because I've been playing the series almost non stop lol.

Omega was a lawless trade and space center of the Terminus System.  That wouldn't do to have the heads of every known race to meet at lol.  Still, as an actual design scheme for the Capital, it would be alright if not poorly defended unless you plan to have a hundred ships around it at any time or something lol.

And that'd mean it'd be neutral ground for everyone.  (Not that I know what you're talking about....)

True, there is that.  Neutral ground but also a good way to have everyone kidnapped lol.  Omega is one of those areas that is better left alone unless you have a really good reason for being out there or you have no where else to go.  Mass Effect 2 area you visit Hunter, youtube it sometime if you're bored lol.

Racial Traits/evolutionary path/customs/traditions etc: While most humans stick fairly close to a baseline, barring outright blatant tampering like that conducted by the bio-butchers of Mesa, there are numerous variants of humanity who had been tailored in the distant past to better suit the planets they were intended to colonize. The most common of these variants were those molded to develop on heavy-gravity worlds, of which San Martin is a particularly extreme example. Heavy-worlders are universally tall and broad, with enhanced musculature and reinforced skeletal systems. They have a much higher endurance level than the average human, but pay for this with a ravenous metabolism.

History: Sanches emigrated to Sphinx shortly after San Martin was officially annexed by Manticore, making his home in Yamata Crossings and joining the Forestry Service. Still a junior member of the Service, he was luckily out in the field when Yamata Crossings was annihilated by the debris falling from orbit. He was, however, thrown into a deep depression, broken out of it only by an unexpected bonding with the female treecat Silver Song, who he named Maria. She was a junior memory singer of her clan, part of a growing imperative by the treecat people to accelerate their spread over multiple worlds after seeing the close call that at least one clan did not survive.

Also what I understood is that we all got a message inviting a representative of our race to come to that station, and we're all making our ways there in our ships, is that right?

Yep, you hit the nail on the head Elfguy.  This is just an universe with some familiar landmarks is all, so while I reference ME, I won't be using the story from ME to describe the whole RP.

Racial Traits/evolutionary path/customs/traditions etc; any science, suffecently advanced appears as magic, Alugard is a system of planets in the far galactic west, on a spiral arm. dominated by the Algarthi, most of the race acended becoming pure energy, those Algarthi who failed were thrown back into this world without bodies. They inhabited new forms and began to try and rebuild their civilization. The humans of Alugard started worshipping them as gods, due to their technological prowess, and ability to swap between bodies. They had not intended this, but were completely willing to take advantage of the situation. some Algarthi are virtuious, other cruel, but now they've settled into a state of stagnation and utter decadence. their worshippers are beginning to question their powers and might. dispite the highly rigid and castlike socity, an undercurrent of unrest is growing. sometimes silently supported by the Demi-gods.
for the Alagarthi, they have seperated into factions, or "Pantheons" based on ideals. each with it's own customs and actions, Alevo is from the Vrallvi or "Valor" faction, they are highly cutlured, militaristic, and refined, tending to believe in Noblese Obliege. ("nobility obliges" chivlaric french term for the idea: I rule because I'm superior, and it's my responsibility to protect and care for my lessers, as it's their responsibility to serve me)
though their followers have barely invented gunpowder, Aligarthi have incredibly advanced technology, such as matter energy converters, FTL travel, and both Dark Matter and Solar Energy generators.
Preferences;  he's a a good person but the children of Aligarthi are spoiled and decadent, as cuch he will sleep with anyone if he can see their relationship from a romantic prespective (I won't be writing the M/M scenes in any detail... not my thing)
History; born from the loins of Avo's avatar, leader of the Valor faction, and a human consort. Avelo was named for his father, and has long served as his favorite son and enforcer even standing at the head of their templar order. unlike others of the Vrallvi he showed intelligence, compassion, and a closeness to mortals that others lacked. He's one of the few deities are who is actually popular among the people.
when the message came in across the galaxy, Avo saw a way to get his inceasingly popular son off world for a while. Having training in advanced technology, engeneering, swordsmanship, and an understanding of theology, he is used to being the biggest fish in a small pond... he arrives with an entire compliment of white clad techpriests and guards.
