Backstory/History -  Alucielle was conceived in a forbidden union between the angel Remiel and a human opera soprano by the name of Lily Jenkins… Remiel was an angel of music within the ranks of heaven and when he was sent to earth to guide and inspire a very special budding singer… he fell in love with her and she with him, they knew their love was forbidden, but they could not bare the idea of walking away from each other.

Remiel and Lily ran away together, Remiel shrouding them in cloaking magic  that warded them against being detected by heaven, relocated them across the country far away from where he’d last reported in to heaven and then finally, when he felt safe, he married his beloved Lily.

For a couple of wonderful blissful years, everything was so perfect, they were more in love than ever… but then they discovered Lily was pregnant…

Humans conceiving with an angel was not impossible, but it was extremely rare, one in a million chances…

Remiel knew that Lily would not survive the birth, mortal bodies were not built to incubate and birth the celestial divine… and on top of that, their child would be a nephilim… the product of an angel mating human or demon was regarded as an abomination, a crime against heaven, a creature to be struck down immediately…

He tried to convince his wife that it would be for the best of themselves and their child in the long run if they just terminated the pregnancy, heaven would never stop hunting them if they ever found out… but Lily was adamant, she already loved her child, she knew consequences, she did not agree that the angels had the right to decide who and what an individual was going to be… as if her child was going to grow up to be some kind of monster.

As if fortune was smiling down upon them, Remiel found a spell that would need casting just as Lily was going into labor, it would grant her body just enough durability to survive the birth safely.

Unfortunately, heaven had other plans… Remiel was abducted from his human day job by a pair of angels that had managed to track him… but thankfully, had no idea where Lily was…

Months passed and Lily received no word or sign of any kind where her husband was… and when he finally returned to her after managing to escape heaven’s jail… he found his precious Lily at the local hospital, she had died giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl.

He wanted to be angry, he wanted to resent his daughter… but the moment he looked into those sweet pale blue eyes, so very much like her mother’s… his heart was hers and he knew he would do anything and everything to protect her as fiercely as her beloved mother had been passionate about.

Remiel gave his daughter the Enochian name Alucielle as he felt was her angelic right and once again, relocated this time with his infant daughter in hand not just across the country, but across the ocean to France. He was determined that he and his daughter would live as normal a life as possible, a happy and safe life that he knew Lily would have wanted for Alucielle.

For her youth, Remiel homeschooled his daughter, but he knew that living a sheltered and closeted life wasn’t fair to a vibrant and full of life young woman… so he sought out a mysterious ally he regarded as a friend, known only as R, through the fellow’s raven familiar. whom agreed to supply the angel with a special key for his daughter to a school for the magical and magically gifted… here Alucielle would free to learn, socialize and enjoy having a life. Her father wanted that for her, she deserved that.

Birthplace - Alucielle was born in the French Quarter of Louisiana and her current home residence is in the countryside of France.

* Divine song- Being half angel and her father being specifically an archangel of music, Alucielle has a voice so ethereal and lovely, that when lifted in song… even some of the most hard of heart may find themselves emotionally moved.
* Healing hands- Alucielle has the ability to summon divine light to her hands and cure moderate to severe wounds. She is still working on the life threatening injuries.
* Angelic senses- Being half angel, Alucielle can understand and speak any language she hears at least a full sentence of. Witch enough training, she’ll eventually be able to pick up on ‘angel radio’ which is the telepathic wavelength angels use to speak back and forth over distance. Her eyes can see ALMOST every supernatural being for what they really are and she can see auras. She can smell demon’s sulfur and poisons, no matter how well hidden.

Physical Appearance - Alucielle stands at five feet and two inches tall and weighs approximately 125 lbs.
She has long pitch black hair that hangs down to her elbows in soft subtle waves and luminous ice blue eyes framed by thick elegant eyelashes. She had a flawless creamy complexion.
Her figure is hourglass shaped with her bust being size 40D.

Clothes - Alucielle tends to dress in the more classy fashions of the 1950s-1960s. Though she does have more modern choices in her wardrobe.

Personality -  Alucielle has a very sweet and open minded nature, she doesn’t believe in harshly judging anyone before she knows them… because she certainly doesn’t want to be judged unfairly for being a nephilim, so fair is fair… and on top of that, you’d be surprised at the kind of people you can meet and get to know when you keep your mind and heart open, you may just meet your forever best friend or the great love of your life in places you least expected.

She is very bubbly and optimistic, she doesn’t believe that anything or anyone is completely without hope until you willingly throw in the towel. Nothing is impossible if you never give up, no matter how trying or daunting the journey may seem.

Alucielle can be quite the little spitfire as well when she wants to be, you’d be surprised how much spunk and feistiness you can fit into a five foot two package.

Having lived a sheltered and protected life, Alucielle would definitely be the type to value her friends more than her own life, there is nothing she wouldn’t do for the safety and well being of those close to her.

That said, her sheltered upbringing does make her a little bit on the naive side as well, she is still learning about how harsh and unforgiving the outside world can truly be.

Holy shield- Alucielle can summon a bubble of divine energy to envelope her body and shield her from harm.
This can last from an hour to possibly shorter, depending upon the amount of damage her shield is taking.

Orbing- Alucielle  can teleport from place to place via an angel power she has been carefully taught by her father called orbing. (example below in spoiler)

Singing- Alucielle has inherited the musical gifts of both her parents, her voice is beautiful as her mother’s and as ethereal as her father’s.

Fashion- Alucielle has excellent taste in classy fashion, she’s the person to see if you want to look your very best. She’s not bad at all either with a needle and thread.

Baking- Spending so much time on her own, Alucielle busied herself with productive pursuits, which included baking breads and sweets. She’s quite skilled at it now.

Vocal magic- Alucielle is quite the natural with manipulating her magic power with her voice in song.

Fear~ Alucielle dreads the possibility that heaven might track down her and her father… and punish them severally for their… ‘sins’.

Weakness~

No energizer bunny- Unlike her pureblood father, Alucielle does not have unlimited angelic energy and must be cautious not to exhaust herself too much or she will require a couple hours to recharge.

Backstory/History - Alex for the early parts of her life were largely uneventful, a member of a small frontier Village with the deeper reaches of Greenland further than the average person was prepared to go. A place where supernatural creatures were able to work together against the harsh climate that was all but welcoming. Alex had few human friends and instead found comfort in the company of animals, in particular was the family cat Khan, as well as a small mouse that Alex successfully looked after called Magnus. Both Animals were given prenatal long lives by the Village Shaman, as Alex's father argued that given her lack of other friends, to have her only two companions die would greatly distress her and leave her alone.

Years went by with few events to speak of, until one day while retrieving some water from a fast flowing river close to the Village, Alex tripped and fell into the rapids, her last action was to throw Magnus to safety before she got swept away. It felt like hours but it was likely in fact minutes at most Alex battled the rapids, until a strange sensation overcame her, her body widened, her legs thickened and shortened and she grew a long coat of white fur across her body. Her distressed cries turning from shrill human calls for help to paniced growls. Thankfully for Alex her cry's were answered as a Polar bear dived headlong into the river and retrieved her. It was several days until Alex was able to recover her senses against the overriding instinct of becoming a bear. Days she was missing, lost to herself and to the Village. But she needed to get back home. Her foster parent couldn't understand at first, that she was a.. Well almost human, turned into a bear, but in the end she was able to gain enough control to return herself back to her original form.

One short year passed after that, Alex spent nearly as much time out in the wilds as she did in the village. It turned out during her panic, recessive genes from her ancestry as a mimic flared up and acted to save her life. Relieved that the young of the village was saved Alex studied under the shaman about the wilderness, even bridging contact between him and her foster bear father. Much to her supprise she found herself taking other shapes. Such as Magnus and Khan, or people in the Village, she couldn't control her powers well but she made use of them none the less. In that year Alex was able to gain some control over the three animals she had come into contact with. Being able to assume features and even able to turn into those animals at will sometimes when she was wearing her great grandmothers earring who the family knew was also a mimic. Although she was still unable to prevent herself from changing unintentionally.

Just as the winter months began to set in once more, a strange Owl arrived at her home. Carrying a letter and a silver ring embedded with golden scripture. The letter was a invitation to join the Outer realms University, with the ring being a means of keeping her transformations under control until she was able to truly master her gift. Surprised but welcoming the invitation Alex followed the instructions on how to get to the University. Her formal education for the first time in her life, was about to begin. But she wouldn't have to face it alone, as Magnus was right there with her, her ever present companion.

Species - [Mimic - A species of creature that never truly has a identity of self, although their forms are stagnant during adolesence which allows them to develop a personality of themselves, once they reach adulthood they grow into their innate abilities to take on the shape of creatures around them, and with hard work and training could even assume the entire form as will.]

Species special abilities: [(passive) Animal linguist - if she has successfully been able to change into the form of a animal before she will be able to understand what a creature is saying, although she is unable to speak in it's tounge back without first taking it's shape or aspects of the animal in question]
[(Passive) Resistance to shape altering effects - Due to their ability to change forms, any effects that force a shape change might be have no effect, or can freely change back from. unless the effect is strong enough to lock them into that shape for a period of time. (For example the inhibitor ring)
[(Active) Shapeshift: Mimics as their name suggests are able to take on forms of creatures they are in proximity to, taking on their likness and natural traits such as stregnth or eye sight. Through training Mimics can also take on forms of creatures they have previously taken the form of.





Physical Appearance - [ In her natural form, Alex is a significantly short individual, being the height of the average halfling or gnome at 3'6" with a very androgynous appearance, lithe and slende in form that leaves her very whispy and light giving her a almost ghostlike appearance due to her grey skin and oily black eyes. Her hair although prominently grey has a faint pink hue that stands out against the rest of her face. Although her ability to change into animals entirely leaves much to be desired she is capable of altering her shape to have certain features of animals she has previously successfully transformed into. Although much to her chargrin, she also takes on the gender properties of the animal in question.]

Clothes - [Often depending on the shape she has taken, but she is rarely seen without her long red hooded-Cadigan regardless of gender, In order to exenuate that she is acting as a female during her times in University due to the limitations put on her shape changing talents, she almost always wears skirts over leggings rather than trousers. Otherwise her clothing will change depending on the weather.

Personality - [Due to her nature and upbringing Alex is wary of others and is often spending time observing others from a distance and assessing potential threats and dangers posed, due to this she can come across as rather timid and soft spoken, often excusing herself from conversations if they are brought to her before she feels ready to reciprocate. But although not an active coversationalist Alex is very observant and will often remember or bring up things that can put other people on edge, such as when she asks for more intricate details on how their abilities work. Despite this tendancy for observation Alex does lack in many social graces and when you do get her in conversation, can come across as brash and outspoken.

It is also worth noting that Alex's personality appears to also change to reflect the Animal that she is attempting to mimic, such as being notably more Skittish and Timid when she is harnessing aspects of a mouse, or more wry and inquisitive, as well as more playful when harnessing a cat's aspects.]

Weapon(s)/Equipment -

[Accessory - Augmentation earring - This item is a current suppliment to her normal abilities of shape shifting, instead of attempting a full shape change this charm allows her to draw on aspects of creatures she is able to change into. Such as being able to channel a bears stregnth, or a hawks eyesight. Ultimately she will be able to do this without the charms assistance, but until she masters her innate skills, she needs this augmentation acts as a conduit that allows her to harness this ability normally

Hypothetically she may even be able to breath fire like a dragon eventually, assuming she can study one long enough to be able to learn to change into one first. At least that's what Alex claims.

Accessory: Shape lock ring - Given her lack of control of her shape changing abilities the school have supplied a ring that while worn, prevents her from taking shape, preventing any sporadic shape shifting accidents with a change in temperment or sudden apperance of creatures or people kicking in her instincts to change.


Abilities -
[Noah's call - Alex seems to have the uncanny ability to not only converse with animals and befriending them, but with a cry she is able to call for aid from nearby creatures. People who hear the call are also made aware that something is amiss at cry and will be compelled to investigate. (Although easily dismissed if they so wish)

[Channel aspect - With practice and for now only with assistance from her augmentation earring Alex is able to draw on the inate talents of Animals she has previously transformed into and gaining their abilities, in combat she often defers to either a cat for a boost in dexterity, or a bear for greater stregnth and constitution]


Skills - [Health support + first aid- In her times of studying different people and animals, Alex has become proficent in assessing issues regarding the health of others and potential fixes to these ailments. (Disclaimer: This does not translate to magic based ailments, only natural based such as poisons or physical injuries)]

[Nature affinity - Being a creature of has given Alex plenty of experience when "roughing it" out in the wilds, giving her skills in foraging, cartography, camping and navigation through stars alone]

[Animal kinship - Alex is able to read and understand animals to a great degree, giving her a kinship with animals that allows her to come across as not a threat to most animals unless she wants to.]

[Proficient with the flute - On many nights with her family on the trail Alex has become proficient with playing the flute.]



Fears/weaknesses - [Weakness's:

Wild at heart - While Alex finds herself at home out in the wilds, the noise and bustling of town centres and cities are a complete anethema and she get's easily overwhelmed and lost in such envioments.

Dependant - Without the augmentation earring on her person, Alex is greatly limited in combat capacity as without her shapeshifting abilities she has very little to offer.

Unskilled - Alex is still new to her powers and finds it difficult to harness them correctly with exception of a few animals. this lack of skill translates to a lack of control as she can often find herself changing form to people or animals in proximity of her.

Specialist (Alteration) - As not a natural spellcaster Alex is almost entirely incapable of learning spells outside of the Alteration sphere

Fears:

Water - After a near death experience in which she fell into a rapid flowing river, Alex is terrified of getting into large bodies of water.

Prey instinct - If currently in a animal aspect, Alex has the compulsive fear of predators of the animal she is taking the form of.]

Of course the summons comes when I have so many other threads to write in.

Name: Viktor Maximoff

Occupation: Occult Investigator

Backstory/History Viktor's mother Morena wanted more than anything else to sing like an opera star and dance like a prima-ballerina. She was far beyond pretty and well into beautiful. She caught an aging Oligarch's eye, but not in the way that one would think. Kazimir knew of Morena's bloodline, she came from a family of witches, although she was largely ignorant of her power. Kazimir agreed to use his influence under the condition she perform a ritual for him.

Morena grew up with stories of Baba Yaga and the rest of the folk tales they used to scare children. If the old man wanted a ritual instead of sex for her big break, she'd chant and read and light some candles. He wasted no time after she agreed. They went to some long lost temple four hours drive north. The candles were black and nearly made her throw up. The book looked like it was made from some disgusting hide. Thank God she wasn't allowed to touch it, he had phonetically translated the important parts with instructions. He didn't want her to strip naked for the ritual or make any moves to touch her. Morena mentally shrugged and put her best efforts into reading the spell or incantation or whatever it was.

No one was more surprised than she was when the great ArchDuke of Hell, Samael came forth from the darkness. Kazimir wasn't surprised at all. He belonged to a secret society and had planned this for years. He just needed an actual witch with power coursing in her veins. Morena fainted and wasn't privy to what happened next. Some of it was easy to piece together since she was pregnant and held captive. Seven years she lived in a wing of a mansion with no phone or windows. She raised her son as best she could. Sang to him and loved him with all her heart--even if he was the son of a devil.

She named him Viktor, for he would be victorious and find freedom. It was a few nights before Viktor's seventh birthday when she overheard the women who tended them talking about how it would soon be over and Kazimir would sacrifice the child to gain a hundred years of youth and its power. She attacked Filipa and Nina when she saw them next. Broke a drinking glass and slit their throats.

She took whatever looked valuable and ran. For seven years she sang and danced with her son. They ate well and were in very good physical condition. Unfortunately Kazimir had vast resources and many men including the police. In the end when they were close to finding them she knew she had to lead them away and tell Viktor to hide and run. She put the protective necklace her grandmother gave her around her son's neck and kissed him one last time.

There were many stone houses around that provided echoes for her. She decided that she would go out as she wanted to live. She sang a song that had always made her cry in its beauty. They found her eventually. She wasn't important so they shot her as her song came to a close. Viktor, they couldn't find even though he was only a few feet from her in the darkness.

He was found by another group a few days later. They had tattoos of red crosses over their hearts. He became an agent of sorts. They used his heritage to draw out other secret societies and cults. They taught him to fight, the skills of a thief so he could infiltrate but nothing of his heritage or his latent abilities. By the time of his 21st birthday other abilities had developed. Rapid healing, uncanny senses and his speed was inhuman. On his 21st birthday he also found a relic of his father, he didn't know that this was the sword of Samael but he did sense its power.

Viktor staged an explosion when he found the sword, the cultists had their place rigged up to blow but he made it happen leaving only dead bodies behind and rubble. He left Russia and traveled around Europe. Wanting to find out about himself he fell into the odd position of being an occult investigator. It happened by accident really. People had money but they couldn't sense the supernatural when they followed the occult clues and breadcrumbs; he could. He still doesn't know who exactly his father is but knows what he probably is.

He remembers his mother through song and dance, not professionally but he does love to go to clubs and karaoke to burn off some steam. He is serious about his craft though. Taking courses and apprenticing with detectives and fencing instructors he's become very adept at being a occult detective/relic hunter.

Thievery- he was taught how to break and enter, pick locks and how to infiltrate more sophisticated security systems as well as picking pockets and so on.
Cooking - he had to learn to fend for himself. Working in a few restaurants around Europe with his exceptional senses allowed him to learn quickly.

Fears/weaknesses - His mother was shot to death by more then ten men. He'll never pick up a firearm. Is often on the lookout for the Knight's Templar in case they find him again and want to bring him back into the fold.
