So yeah... I am kinda tired of seeing the ads on here harping on about this pairing or that. A writing should be about the people certainly, but the story, the plot, the scene, the world, the setting, the feel, the dialogue... These things for me outstrip the sexy bits by a country mile. Yeah, I like sex and I like writing about it. But it is not all I like about life or love or reading or writing. I need more than that to engage me and when I see or think about yet another advert on one on one that lists just a trite and staid pair of types of people, then repeats this ad infinitum (or even ad nauseum as some seem to be keen on) it just leaves me chilled and despairing.
