First off, let me begin by saying that it is probably a poor idea to join any game I am running.  My track record as a GM (here and elsewhere) is rather horrible, with many failed attempts (and not all ended well).  But, I do like to GM, and do hope to have some success (especially now as my life may be in better order) by focusing on a smaller concept.  Either way, you have been forewarned, and while I will do my best I can't promise that it won't all be a wasted effort.

The games will be heavy in non-consensual (or extreme, depending on player willingness) smut.  I am looking for people who can and will post at least once every 2-3 days.  I would also prefer players/characters are proactive when it comes to posting and making decisions, I don't like railroading or having to nudge/nag too often.

I am advertising for two separate ideas in this thread, as I intend both of them to be small, I didn’t see the need for two separate threads.  If you are interested in one, please indicate which in your post.  Thank you!

In both cases I am looking for 2 players, I may go to 3 in one case and 4 in the other, but will not accept more than that.  I am only looking for female characters.

Hunter: The Vigil “A Bump in the Dark”

I am looking to run a game based (loosely) on (early?) Supernatural, Scooby-Doo, X-Files, and so on.  Basically 2, maybe up to 4, characters who travel the country investigating the supernatural.  In game terms, they would have some sort of link to Network Zero, otherwise I am fairly open.  I lean strongly away from any Tier 3 Conspiracies, but won’t flat out deny them.  The players will need to work together to come up with character ties.

Shadowrun 4A “A Day’s Work”

Full at the moment

I am looking to run a character-driven game set in Seattle.  I have a few plots in mind, but initial jobs and scenes would depend heavily on the characters involved.  I am looking for 2, maybe 3, characters with a pre-existing relationship of some sort.  If you are interested, I will expect you to work with the other player(s) to develop that aspect of the characters.

If you are interested, please post in this thread with what content (non-consensual/extreme) you are comfortable with or unwilling to roleplay, as well as a brief character concept (archetype and maybe a bit of background, preferably not too detailed so you can work with the other players to link the characters) for one of the two games.

Thank you for your interest! (and apologies if you have been in one of my previous games)

Mark me down for the Shadowrun game ^_^ Real life might sometimes get in the way, but you're an awesome GM.

Also interested in Shadowrun. Too many character concepts to count in my head. But I've a few who could really use some wild nights. Lol

3 runners set to go already and it hasn't even been a day, lol :)

So where you want characters posted? ;) lol

Well, Jaded could always choose to not do First Come First In and instead choose from concepts. Lol

Thanks!  And thank you all for your interest.

If both Sinestra and Muse can handle those conditions, I'll give up my spot so Pumpkin can play.

I'm more interested in the Hunter pitch, myself.

Not too worried about posting frequency - as long as you don't go to two or three a day, I can keep up. ^^;
I'm largely comfortable with extreme content - I prefer not to get my characters maimed - and will speak up if you hit something not on my o/os.

The prodigal Hunter's daughter; a vet only just barely home, who's seen more than her fair share. Barely six months after getting out, she received a packet in the mail; her father's journal, with no explanation, and worse, no sign of him when she went to check up on him. Now worried, she's gone looking for him, in the last place anyone saw him alive...

Generally, now that I'm a stay-at-home caregiver for my husband, I'm capable of doing the posting rate. You'll find I'll often post multiple times a day, miss a day, post a bunch or just get 1-2 posts a day, things like that. So long as things are engaging and there are people to engage with, posting is pretty frequent.

As for content, as some around might know I've done everything from the harshest non-con to liches and dragons and fantasy creatures to body mods (this is Shadowrun so Cyberware, Bioware and Geneware are expected), slavery and corruption etc etc. My lines are usually drawn at PC Snuff (of course if they make a mistake and get shot, hey this is Shadowrun), Hard Vore and Gore, kids and scat. Pretty much everything else is fine by me, though if it's all just 1 thing over and over it can get boring. This is for fun, and some nice variety would be good. Mad scientist wants to use someone SURGED that displays animal traits, breed them with hellhounds, plug them up, chain them up then amuse themselves for a week with whatever is available then see what the results of the breeding is? That's completely fine. Lol

Character concepts I have a ton of. Of note however are:

1) A 'Ghost in the Machine' AI who lives a life inhabiting a lifelike pleasure drone. Formerly a bland wageslave in life, she uses her new found life of immortal beauty to indulge herself in extremes (knowing that she can't die) which includes risky shadowrunning.

2) A rigger, formerly of Ares Macrotechnology, who is obsessed with Simsense and breaking into emoting/acting in Simsense movies. Think your typical aspiring movie star running away to Hollywood trope. But to help earn her money, she fixes up an old Limo and does specialized escort work (she was formerly a driver for Ares) where she plays Bodyguard and Escort while driving her clients to events etc in addition to her normal shadowrunning.

I've other concepts, like a young human scientist (all that needs be said is I've termed her as "The Daughter of Iron Man") that does what you'd expect given that title. There's your typical SURGEd runner as hinted at a bit above and a dozen more. Pretty much if there's a team niche that needs filling, I have a character to fill it.

Muse

it's good to see you again, Jaded.  I quite enjoy NCExotic games, and you do them VERY well.  Some extreme elements are okay too--especialy for a writer as good as you.

If no one minds me plyaing a girl, I'd like to reprise the concept of either Lace or Rave.

Lace is a young magician.  She grew up quite comfortalby, the daugther of a UCAS professor of arcane studdies.  When her father was kidnapped recently, she's looking to become a shadowrunner because the conventional athorities seem powerless to help her find him.

Rave was a Renraku citizent who was exiled from the archology after SURGE changed her into a wide eyed bioluniscent beauty.  Also awakened, she has adopted the Wiccan tradition and works as a mood dancer at Club Steam when not running the shadows.

Sinestra

In character concepts, it looks like my rigger and your mage could easily know each other through investigations or the aspiring runner bit. Her father could have been a client of my character's at one point, or they could be working together in my character's business or any number of things.

The rigger and the dancer would have less in common, but obviously we can always make something. They're contacts to each other or my character offers her 'contract' work off the books to take part in her business or something like that.

The AI would likely lean more towards the dancer, since it's easy to say that the AI could be working at the same club also as a performer while running together when not on the clock. I don't think the AI and Mage would do well since, as an AI, she'd have a lot easier time helping her look for her father by, well, being an AI in the Matrix and poking around, sort of nullifying a cornerstone of the character's need to Shadowrun.

Open to any ideas in return or, of course, suggestions for different concepts which could work best with from my end, since I've got dozens.

I should be able to do the 2-3 day requirement.  If I do a work stretch, I will give warning that my posts may become shorter than normal.

I'm pretty open minded in terms of content.  Just don't start lopping off limbs and killing folks for erotic play if you please.

Mokusatsu is a rejected corporate samurai that was tossed aside after her first mission went sideways.  Presumed dead she has taken up residence as a local tattoo artist while running the shadows to find out who ordered her death and betrayal in her previous line of work.

Sinestra

Lets see, easy enough for the rigger to know Moku. Former corp employee, much like she was a former Ares corp rigger, they'd be a natural fit for at some point running into each other, swapping stories and becoming friends or at minimum part of a runner team. The AI not so much, but I mean, anything is possible. The rigger having the former-corp-pawn thing in common leads to a friendship easier in my mind.

Sort of thinking she believes the corporation had a legitimate reason to cut her off.  As in she believes they were right in doing so because she did fail, but she believes someone set her up for failure and betrayed her.  Her hope is to bring the information to her Master and find her place again.  Through the investigation she finds out that her Master actually betrayed her and tossed her aside for whatever reason.

Looks like Rigger, Mage and Street Samurai might be the mix.

Sinestra

That's actually a good party comp, mechanically speaking. A rigger can do some light hacking with just some programs, so we really have all bases covered. Maybe not sneaking, but everything else. :)

Pumpkin Seeds

Yep and the rigger can fix the tattoo machine.   >:)

Sinestra

Lol she does have mechanical and industrial engineering skills, as well as electronics of course. Lol. Would Moku consider some time moonlighting as a shadowy escort/bodyguard part time? LOL

Muse

Currently helping pumpkin and doing a new build for Lace.

She'll be pretty green for the STreets.  But she will have skill in a vareity of spells and be a good fencer.  If she were to meet your Rigger and they were to become friends, Lace would be very greatful for a mentor on the streets--perhaps one who'se also goodf or a kiss and a cuddle--though she's a bit inocent for that, too.

Sinestra, would your rigger want a roomate?

Sinestra

My rigger lives in a retrofitted giant shipping warehouse that's like a mini-fortress, so a roommate (who can share a bed now and again) would actually be really nice (she lives alone otherwise) and considering her previous occupation, she'll have shadow experience so she can play a mentor role as well. This actually sounds like it's shaping up to be pretty good actually.

I guess at this point all we need is an OOC forum to post up sheets and talk fine details and we'll be good. :)

I would be interested in the Hunter: The Vigil story. I can make that posting rate now and I'm pretty open to a lot of things that lean extreme.

With life having cleared up I can do a reasonable posting rate, and I'm fine with most non-con. I haven't done much Extreme, but I can be cool and give it a shot. Never know if you'll really enjoy it until you try it, and the horrible things my IRL Storyteller has put us through should hopefully prepare me for whatever level of darkness people are comfortable with. Give me a few minutes and I'll come up with a brief character concept.

Edit: Don't suppose you can give me an idea of the level of noncon/extreme desired, could you? Is the extreme for sexy? Brutal werewolf/vampire fights? So on and so forth?

Concept: A handywoman in over her head. She and her twin brother used to manage a small apartment complex, till a vampire with delusions of grandeur moved in. Her brother fell to his fangs, but the vampire found myself smashed into a wall and crumbling to ash thanks to a well-aimed car crash. Since then she's been looking into the weird and the strange, trying to help save people from the creepy things in the dark before other people lose their families to them. She's a woman who believes being prepared for anything by carrying a bag of tools is more important than complex plans, and is a bit of a jack of all trades, but clearly a master of none.

Oh man, I have been craving a Hunter game real bad lately. I'll have to try and come up with something when I get home. Maybe a former paramedic or nursing student or something. Hunters often need stitches.

I'd be mostly open to anything, except vore and mutilation. I do make a distinction there between combat and sex. If violence happens in combat, that's just how it goes, of course.

Jaded, are you looking for just female characters again?

Noncon would be relatively common.  Extreme would be optional, though it could be in a thread that you are reading.  In terms of what content for extreme, I didn't have anything hugely specific in mind.  A werewolf in wolf form maybe, that sort of stuff.  I tend towards darker/rougher in terms of content, but am happy to try and tailor towards the players.

I am, just due to my own personal preferences on what I like to write.

Were you both still interested?

KirbysFolly

Very. I can definitely meet the the post rate too.

How's this: character was a new paramedic, saw something freaky, reported it, was not believed, freaked out, lost her job, then found evidence that she was right all along. Cue Huntering.

Then ties with other characters and more details can be filled in.

Robyn Hood

Thorne and I have been discussing character ideas, basically a pair of sisters whose father is a hunter. Neither believed him. Her character having gone into the military while mine just left the house for the street. Then one day they each get a package, things from their father which brings them back to the family home.

There is more but that is the basics.

Jaded

Sounds good KirbysFolly :-)

Due to a couple of drops I am looking for a player or two to add to the Hunter: The Vigil game.  It hasn't really started yet, so there is still a chance to get in on the ground floor.

Assuming you are still looking for some Hunter replacements, I would be interested. Quick question, are you using the World of Darkness rules or that new-fangled Chronicles of Darkness rules?

I am still looking.  :-)  The World of Darkness rules (or whatever the original new WoD ones were called).
