I didn't see a generic 'whats your desktop?' thread, and since its manditory by Forum Stature X-3.111a Section 3, second paragraph, certified by the BEC, phD, MD, XP, XD, GG, AAAABS.

I have literally hundreds of desktops. This is a 'post your desktop' thread. Not a 'where do i find a desktop' thread. ^^;;

 I'm not a comp savvy person, is there anyways that I could get some pictures in a desktop format and get them to switch from one to another in a series of shifting pictures? Sort of like a photobook of changing pictures.

OSX has a built in program for that... i dunno about windows. What are you using?

StyleXP lets you set several images as a wall paper, and then you can set them  to eithr change at set intervals or load one at random every time u restart your PC.

How can I do that with the OS I have?

set a custom background? right click the desktop, go to properties, select the desktop tab in the newly oepened window, list at the bottom and the browse button lets you select any image on your computer. if you mean random images as a wallpaper, find urself a copy of an application called "Style XP" (ddemo available online) and use that.
