I got these blank CD's that say DVD+RW on them.  I didn't notice until I got them home, and I bought them to burn files and MP3's on.  Can I still do that?

Autumn Sativus

Yes.

It just means you can rewrite the discs if you want to. Ie; when you get bored of your music, burn the disc again and save on discs.

Ok, so the DVD doesn't mean all I can burn on it are movies?

Autumn Sativus

DVDs have a higher capacity, but it won't make a difference in the burning process if you're just looking to put MP3s on it. It will make a difference in which devices are capable of playback (obviously, a CD player cannot read a DVD, but a laptop or gaming system could read either).
