Since the recent announcement of Season 3 being confirmed, I am more excited than ever to start a game following the show's continuity, and I hope we see some elements of this stuff in it. This will take place following the conclusion of Season 2, with the key point being that the cliffhanger ending is about to explode into action. With that, here's the premise I came up with:

The universe as we know it is in dire peril. With the unholy alliance of Vandal Savage's War World and Darkseid's Apokolips weaponry, preventative measures have to be taken. The Green Lantern Corps is overwhelmed and the Justice League is largely operating off-world to do what they can to stem the tide of pre-emptive attacks that will culminate in a universal domination by the most evil beings imaginable. But that's in outer space, we don't care about that. Something scary is happening on Earth, too.

The arrival of the mysterious Raven and her ominous tidings herald the arrival of Trigon, an otherworldly demon bent on devastating the earth if he's allowed to cross over. Even more jarring, the arrival from an uncertain future of Terry McGinnis, claiming to be Batman and wielding a high-tech batsuit that impresses even Bruce Wayne. McGinnis brings a dire warning that in his time, only a handful of Justice League members still live, a crisis of mysterious origin responsible for wiping out the majority of all active duty members.

Can the current roster of Young Justice, along with newcomers, overcome these challenges, and avert the terrible fate the earth, and the rest of the universe, may be condemned to?

So yeah...I figure this would be a good setup. Minimal Justice League intervention, a looming crisis that the Young Justice crew will be able to eventually go out to help the Justice League with once the threat of Trigon has been dealt with. So, who wants in? Pretty much any characters featured on the show are fair game, as well as a bunch of new ones like the essential Raven, Neo-Batman (I'm taking this role, so sorry if you were hoping to snag that), Starfire, Cyborg and maybe a few others if they have a good dynamic to fit the team. Even a potential traitor like Terra could be fun to include.

Every character in the game will, at this point, be at least 17 so that relationships don't have to be limited, and you can stick to the show's canon or open up new ones. Even the younger ones like Beast Boy, perhaps having gone through a time warp and stayed in an alternate dimension where time flows differently to artificially age them up or something.

I'll rattle off a list of potential characters (canon and specific to this game) but feel free to make suggestions if you don't see anyone you'd like to play as, and I'll try to update as often as possible who's taken and who is still available.

I suppose if we can get enough interest I could throw my hat into the ring for Arsenal.

Rock on. I'm not sure what's not drawing more attention, the fact that it's YOUNG Justice, which we've established will fall within the site's permitted range for the purposes of the game (and which is already the case in the second season for most of the characters anyway) or that there's a bunch of other superhero games being advertised and they're more alluring.

Gonna give this one last shot before I hang it up. Any and all takers welcome, and I'm open to some modifications to the plot setup if that helps.

This sounds interesting! Though to be more clear, there's no OCs in the game?

For example, I've actually made my own AU version of Raven (OC), which still looks like her and has her powers, but I've gone through and given her a completely different backstory. Would that not be allowed?

ElvenKitten

Only Teen Titans Go would be a guilty pleasure   :P

Miss Martian is a very interesting character before everyone knows she's a white martian, but this takes place long after it's public knowledge, I think.

The only Starfire I know is the one from the Teen Titans cartoon (guilty pleasure, shut up), but playing an idealistic bright eyed bombshell princess from outer space is always fun, assuming that's close enough to her personality? Like I said I only know the cartoon version.

Not 100% sure I have the space to commit to either but just thought I'd throw out potential interest.

Yeah, I would just imagine Starfire being a visitor, basically taking a break from being on her own homeworld, and being something like a fish out of water and naive about Earth culture but amusingly and harmlessly so. But there can be other interpretations, just so long as her basic alien origin and power set are relatively similar to the original.

Well we need Raven to be the daughter of Trigon, to be at least mildly aware of his impending arrival and her role in being the key to him being able to cross over into their world, and to eventually decide to help her new friends against him in order for the main arc of the story to work. I'm open to other interpretations beyond that but those are key factors that have to be kept intact.

And I'm always extremely sketchy about OCs in games like this. I find there's plenty of room for that kind of thing in games where the entire world is an original setting and that it works better that way anyway. Besides, there's so many possibilities (like existing DC characters that haven't yet appeared on the show) that there should be plenty of possibility and room for some creativity even within the existing framework.

If Tokyorose doesn't want to use the canon stuff for Raven, I'd totally throw in my hat for being Raven. >.>

The Justice League vs Teen Titans redesign looks like it fits the visual style of Young Justice pretty well, at least.

This looks interesting unfortunately I haven't actually seen this show, though others I have including Teen Titans, but not TT Go, yeah that would've been a guilty pleasure lol  ;D

So far from the mentioned characters I would like to go as either Zatanna (as I do love magic but could a little help here) or as Terra still learning proper use of her powers.

No I'm fine with the canon backstory, I had made that version of Raven in a Young Justice RP some time back when it had all OCs, so it allowed me to be a bit creative because Raven hadn't appeared in the show.

I'd be cool with playing Raven then and using the Canon backstory, I have no problems with it. :)

The show is absolutely amazing, haven't seen as good an ensemble superhero animated program since the DC Animated Universe that started with Batman: The Animated Series and concluded with Justice League Unlimited. If you have Netflix, both seasons are on it to watch.

If anyone has any good suggestions for a way in which Terra might be a mole, or tempted into becoming one after the fact, I'm all ears since that would be a great way to make another interesting plot point.

Okay, I'm going to start putting up character sheet templates for you guys to submit (do them here, not in PM, although if you have questions you can PM them to me) so it's first-come, first-served as far as choices. Make sure to state somewhere if you have a secondary character you would want to play if we get to the point where we can start doubling up.

I'd probably up for playing Nightwing. A Nightwing who actually does field work and not just leading from base too :P

I wouldn't have him any other way!  ;D  Besides, with the League away from home, he'll have to get out from behind a desk.

I should add for clarification, only the actual superpowered Justice League members will be off-planet. Guys like Batman and Green Arrow are staying on Earth. So it's just Superman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, the Hawks, Captain Atom, etc. who are out fighting Darkseid and Vandal Savage. Those who can't really contribute a fight with similarly powered individuals on a one-on-one basis elected to stay behind so as not to be a liability if they get injured far from home where they can't receive medical treatment.

I'm a bit iffy on the backstory as I'm not sure how the Titans/Young Justice tie in to each other exactly so I'm totally open to rewriting any of that.

Well the Titans never existed, so she can develop any relations she wants from scratch or simply make up a past history and, given her absence in the show, simply now return on a more long-term basis (or if they met her on Tamaran rather than her coming to Earth, she'll be there visiting for however long she feels like, having simply met them during an off-screen episode or something.) But there won't be any history with, say, Raven who will only just now be appearing on Earth, so the actual team of the Titans wouldn't have been complete anyway. Maybe if the team didn't have a name for itself, i.e. Young Justice, she can have suggested the nickname Teen Titans, but it won't be anything official.

Here's my profile, so anyone else who has decided to commit, go ahead and submit whenever you're ready.

Name/Identity: Terry McGinnis/Batman (of the future, AKA Neo-Batman)
Place of Origin: Earth, Neo-Gotham City
Race: Human - Partial clone of Bruce Wayne
Powers/Weapons/Equipment:
-Batsuit that enhances physical strength multiple times over and protects from above-normal amounts of damage, can fly with retractable wings (that can also act as shields) and jet boots, as well as a camouflage invisibility feature
-Arsenal of Batarangs that can be compacted and have a variety of uses, both combustive and cryonic or simply as sharpened projectiles
-Martial arts training from the disciple of the same ninja master that taught Bruce Wayne, also gifted in street fighting and improvisation
Weaknesses: Without the suit he's got only his training and few resources to help him survive. He's also a fish out of water in a primitive time and can't fix any major damage to his suit without assistance, though the technology might still be too advanced for anyone to help
Backstory (Up to the end of season 2): From an uncertain future, McGinnis is at the point where Batman Beyond season 3 ended (and after Return of the Joker's events) but before the JLU episode Epilogue's events, so he's been Batman for quite some time but doesn't know about his relation to Bruce Wayne. Having encountered temporal oddities before such as when Static once came to his timeline, he is not unfamiliar with the idea but has no idea how he ended up in this past, especially since it doesn't seem to mirror anything his mentor, the original Batman, has told him about.
Currently: Being in unfamiliar territory, he is likely to be initially hostile to anyone trying to confront him even if they do so in a peaceful way, given his untrusting nature
Role in Team: Prophet
Personality: Brash and rebellious but with a strong sense of justice and fairness
Special Relationships: Potentially anyone in the Bat family, given his desire to emulate them
Gender Identity and Preference: Straight male
Definitely 'Yes' Sexual Elements You Would Like to Include: Nothing special, if it happens, it happens
Definitely 'No' Sexual Elements You Refuse to Play: Bathroom, blood, pain

So I used a mix of wiki magic and memory to figure most of this out. All of that said if something seems off let me know. On another note, however, if anyone wants a special connection to Grayson be it mentor, former lover, or any other plot point just hit me up. Oh, and if anyone plays one of the relationships I mention down below I'm more than happy to discuss how we can fit it to better suit whatever plans there were for them though I think, at the moment, that's only really geared towards Aida and her playing Artemis.

Name/Identity: Richard "Dick" Grayson/Nightwing
Place of Origin: Earth, Gotham City
Race: Human

Powers/Weapons/Equipment: Nightwing doesn't have any powers but he does have extensive training in practically every martial art, more academics than most scholars, and detective skills gleaned from Batman. He also has access to a staggering assortment of gadgets thanks to his mentor though he often relies on his escrima sticks. That doesn't even get into his hacking talents. Honestly, if someone could learn it, even the basics, Dick probably has learned it. His supposed superpower, however, is the ability to amicably break up with any woman he has ever been with, much to his friend Wally's chagrin.

Weaknesses: Nightwing has a tendency to be secretive in a manner similar to his mentor. Secret missions that need doing are often coordinated without the whole team's knowledge or consent. In addition to that Nightwing is, in the end, just a man. He can't take more than a hit or two from the heavy hitters without going down.

Backstory (Up to the end of season 2): Nightwing went from being under Aqualad to leading the teams as their effective handler and coordinator. He saw very little time in the field as he was often too busy trying to find the patterns of The Light or mold the rest of the teams into the best heroes they could possibly be. Every mission he tried to keep on top of and it took a bit of a toll on him by the end. The Reach got defeated but seemingly at the cost of Wally West's life. Giving command back to Aqualad after his return from a deep cover mission he left the team with a smile. He'd come back. He just needed time.

Currently: After leaving the team for a time Nightwing needed to hone himself and get back into field work shape. He kept in touch with everyone, though he paid a bit more attention to Artemis since she was the other person most devastated by Kid Flash's loss. He needed to be out there doing the good himself more than he had when he was coordinating. So he moved into Bludhaven and took up the mantle of its guardian. For a few months he protected the streets from the most basic thugs up to the few supervillains that came his way. More than a few partner missions with Batman as well letting him really get back onto the razor's edge of his skill. But, in the end, he returned to the team about a month ago. Taking up a leadership position, of a squad this time rather than the whole thing, he was more than happy to be on the frontlines again.

Role in Team: Leader, Stealth Scout, Tactical Oversight

Personality: Grayson was always a bit of a joker though he had had to tone it down quite a bit as the overall leader. The time spent under his own power in Bludhaven brought it back. Nightwing wasn't the serious leader he once was but instead was the charismatic man he always truly had been using wit and levity when needed but with just the right amount of serious. He's never been one to shy away from talking to members of the team whenever they need help and he's consistently one of the kindest members of the team willing to do anything and everything to help out his friends.

Special Relationships:
-Batman: The man who Dick considers his father and his mentor. While Nightwing no longer has the desire to become the Bat that he once did he still holds him in high esteem. Should anything go terribly wrong Bruce is the first person he would call to help solve the problem. There is no one on the planet that he trusts more to save peoples lives than Batman. And in return Batman has come to see Grayson as an equal rather than a student.
-Zatanna: They flirted, dated, broke up, and still flirt now and again. Dick still has a bit of a thing for her even if he knows it probably won't work out. Doesn't mean they can't have some fun anyways right?
-Artemis: As members of the original team they were close but they grew even closer as they both mourned the apparent death of Wally West. They never dated and never really viewed each other that way but Dick is just a phone call away whenever she needs him.
-Wally West: Dick's best friend and formerly dead friend. When Wally came back he smacked him for vanishing like that then it was like nothing had ever happened.
-Batgirl: The spark is there and they love teasing each other but they still haven't progressed beyond it yet. Maybe things will go somewhere maybe not. Dick isn't going to force it and he's happy where things are for the moment.
-Tim Drake/Robin: Being Robin before this Robin was Robin Dick took the young man under his wing and was more than impressed with what he could do. He tried making him into a leader and he was suited to the task on top of his natural talents elsewhere. He was shaping up to be a better detective than Dick had been and for that he would continue to be a mentor and friend to the young Robin.

Gender Identity and Preference: Nightwing is man who seems to be capable of charm just about any woman he meets. (Male who has an eye for ladies alone.)

Definitely 'Yes' Sexual Elements You Would Like to Include: Grayson is extremely receptive to his partner's wants (part of the secret to how he has so many former lovers still on good terms with him is this) so he does whatever he can to please them. Romantic and tender or rough and hard. He's done most of it and he's just as comfortable. Too be honest though Grayson does actually like being a bit rough. Being calm, cool, and collected all the time makes him want to cut loose a little when he can.

Definitely 'No' Sexual Elements You Refuse to Play: Grayson won't ever hurt someone beyond what they actually desire. (As well as my own general no-gos of no Bathroom Play, light blood from scratches at most, no major pain, and not putting anything in my guy's backside.)
March 2020: Working Retail + Virus Panic = Brain not work so good. Expect slow intermittent replies as sanity slowly drains and is returned.

Actually, the Watchtower is now a proximity bomb so that anything that approaches Earth with malevolent intent is going to have a huge explosion to rock it before it gets closer, so nobody is actually stationed there, it's all earthbound during this galactic crisis. No sense having people working inside of a land mine, right? That way everyone can be close enough to interact with each other without insurmountable distances between them. Interaction is key, so nobody should be off-world if they're going to be a significant part of the game.

Since Nightwing and Starfire were close, and that's a bit of an understatement, in the TT cartoon. I wouldn't be opposed to having it be a situation where Nightwing has been hosting her at his house in Bludhaven if you'd like.

Does anyone in particular want to be the one to draw Arsenal back into the fold?

Perhaps Terry has reason to believe that Arsenal – or his absence – played a role in the looming crisis? Or he's dragged in by one of the new members? I'm open to suggestions, and if anyone wants to play out his recruitment scene.

Quote from: RedPhoenix on December 11, 2016, 09:14:59 PMI don't think Starfire is in the loop enough to do this, sorry. :(

It's possible he was one of the heroes she fought/befriended when she landed, depending on how long ago you wanted that to have taken place, but if you'd rather not, no worries.

Mathim

LOL, sorry RedPhoenix, didn't mean to make it sound like I was picking on you, just wanted to keep the group closer together. Space is kind of like the forbidden zone for the moment, so everyone should be limited to locations on earth. Any enemies they face will come to them, the heroes don't need to go looking for 'em.

And I would think that given the news of the crisis, Green Arrow could very plausibly reach out to Arsenal to ask him to come back into the fold and help the team deal with things now that the League is so shorthanded, and since they all work better as a team, they want everyone working together rather than having solo careers. Even though they're pretty negative toward each other at the time, they do have a history and there's a pretty good reason to join forces.

Here's what I'm thinking can set off the start of the game: A Motherbox will be found on Earth by some archeologists, and upon its activation, a massive destabilization occurs (because by now it's so old and banged up) and triggers several simultaneous events. Raven's dimensional travel that brings her to Earth for one, Terry McGinnis' time travel for another, and a portal to Apokolips through which a small group of the Furies comes through and intends to conquer Earth in the name of their master. So even though Darkseid and Vandal Savage have joined forces, and Savage tried to use the threat of War World as a moratorium on plans to conquer Earth that might come from other worlds, Darkseid is obviously going behind his back. The team will find out that the warriors from Apokolips are on a whole different level. They'll have to be significantly stronger to be fewer in number and yet pose a genuine threat.

Is there such a character? I'm unfamiliar with anything other than the Billy Batson/Captain Marvel dichotomy. My guess is that if it's not Billy Batson, and an entirely different Captain Marvel, that might be okay, but I'd have to have more data on that.

Originally there was an entire "Marvel Family". It was Captain Marvel, his little sister Mary, their friend Freddy Freeman. And their uncle.

The Uncle was phased out though and it was just the three of them until Flashpoint.

He's Captain Marvel's sidekick.

In that case, sure, he can be a newcomer to the team like Starfire and some of the others that weren't yet utilized in the series. Go ahead and knock together a profile. I assume they have similar powers? And is he already a teenager and just becomes empowered by going 'Shazam' or is he in a constant state of empowerment?

Schway.

His powers are identical to Captain Marvel, just on a lower scale.

He's always a teenager, and he powers up but it doesn't change his appearance. Just makes him more buff and handsome basically lol.

Only if he has raging teenage boy hormones so Starfire can inadvertently tease him mercilessly.

(Just a joke, doesn't need to happen).

(Yes it does).

Ys pls?

Does anyone in particular want to be the one to draw Arsenal back into the fold?

Perhaps Terry has reason to believe that Arsenal – or his absence – played a role in the looming crisis? Or he's dragged in by one of the new members? I'm open to suggestions, and if anyone wants to play out his recruitment scene.

They could send Freddy. He's pretty invulnerable so on the off chance Arsenal reacts unfavorably(like with an exploding arrow), he'd be annoyed but okay lol.

ALso if we start doubling up, I'll probably pick up Static.

Rockin'. I am so stoked to have new characters on the show, I want at least half a dozen we've never seen in the first two seasons.

Name/Identity: Frederick Christopher "Freddy" Freeman - Captain Marvel Jr. / CM3(Captain Marvel 3)
Place of Origin: Fawcett City
Race: Human
Powers: By shouting SHAZAM!, Freddy is transformed into a Godly version of himself, empowered directly by the six Gods who empower Captain Marvel.

Solomon's Wisdom - The wisdom of Solomon gives Freddy great knowledge as well as a photographic memory. Solomon is actually able to speak to Freddy during his times of need. The wisdom of Solomon also makes Freddy omni-lingual and makes him a very skilled war tactician.

Hercules' Strength - H is for the strength of Hercules, strongest of the gods. Freddy is empowered with Hercules' nearly limitless superhuman-strength which is often compared to and rivals that of Superman. As such, CM3's strength is of the highest level and is sufficiently vast enough that it enables him to lift/move unbelievably massive and/or heavy objects.

Atlas' Stamina - A is for the stamina of Atlas, Titan who bears the heavens on his shoulders. This means he doesn't need to sleep or eat as Captain Marvel and has virtually limitless superhuman endurance. Due to Atlas' stamina, Captain Marvel doesn't fatigue during or after any exertion; no matter how strenuous or how long in duration. This also makes him near-invulnerable.

Zeus' Power - Z is for the power of Zeus, most powerful of the gods. This grants Captain Marvel magic resistance and the lightning that changes Freddy. He has used the lightning as a weapon before, when he dodges it - allowing it to strike an enemy. Captain Marvel has also stated that with this power also comes the "Wrath of Zeus." Finally, with practice he can actually wield magic.

Achilles' Courage - A is for the courage of Achilles, greatest hero of the Trojan War. This grants him an inner strength and confidence. He is also granted further invulnerability due to Achilles being invincible save his heel.

Mercury's Speed - M is for the speed of Mercury, swiftest of the gods. This grants Marvel his god-like speed and his power to fly. This power is also responsible for his sorcery skills.

Weaknesses:

Magic - No matter how powerful you are, it's easiest to fight magic with magic. Magic users and magical beings of a high enough level can harm him directly with their attacks, or even interfere with his connection to the Gods and his powers.

Human - Unlike Superboy or Wonder Girl, Freddy is a normal guy until he summons his powers. So if he's hurt or attacked while in his human form, it's as easy to hurt him as it is a normal person.

Voice - Again, as he has to summon his power, all one has to do is keep him from talking, as he must say SHAZAM! out loud and with the intent to transform. If his mouth is covered, or something similar, he won't transform.

Backstory (Up to the end of season 2): Freddy was the star QB of Binder High School when he met Billy Batson. He was trying out for the team, but Freddy could see he just didn't have that killer instinct to put his natural talents to use. The two became fast friends though and Freddy helped him find his current job at WHIZ Radio. After that, Freddy remained unaware of Billy and then his sister Mary becoming the "Marvels" and protecting the world. One day while camping with his grandfather(fishing on the lake like they always did), Captain Marvel and Captain Nazi's fight wound up in the very same lake. And in trying to help Nazi out of the lake, he attacked Freddy and his grandfather. After defeating Captain Nazi, Marvel took both men to the hospital. Freddy's grandfather Jacob died from his injuries, while Freddy's leg was crippled and his spine severely damaged. Unable to see his friend in such a bad place, Billy took Freddy to see the wizard Shazam. It was then he healed Freddy's injuries, and gave him the ability to transform into Captain Marvel Jr. From then, he'd join Captain Marvel and Mary Marvel on team assignments, though for the most part he stayed behind in Fawcett City to watch over it while the other two went off and joined the Justice League.

Currently: When the League started recruiting more meta-humans to join Young Justice, Freddy figured he could do for a change of scenery, as well as make a difference without stepping on Billy's toes. He didn't have much, and the League meant everything to him. Freddy was happy with this for now. After a glowing recommendation from Billy and Mary, as well as a combat demonstration that he passed with flying colors, CM3 was formally inducted into Young Justice.

Role in Team: Powerhouse, Air Specialist, Tactician, Magic Support

Personality: Freddy has his head planted solidly on his shoulders. His grandfather raised him, and always instilled in him the value of hardwork, and the basic tenants of human kindness and decency. So despite being the typical jock, he differs in that he's not an asshole. He's worked for everything he's ever gotten so he knows what it means to have things because you earned them. This means he doesn't tend to take things for granted. He's a pretty nice guy, although he can be a bit of a hot-head; especially if you know how to push his buttons. As CM3, his personality is essentially the same. However each of his choices and decisions are backed by Godly wisdom, and that tends to show.

Special Relationships:
Captain Marvel - Billy Batson is Freddy's best friend in the world, and the reason he even has powers. They're brothers in everything but blood, and Freddy would sacrifice himself in a heartbeat if it meant he helped Billy.

Mary Marvel - Mary Batson is Freddy's younger sister, and Freddy's first real crush. The three of them are inseperable, and though he still has the hots for her, he knows how awkward things could get so he's kept it friendly.

Gender Identity and Preference: Male/Hetero

Name/Identity: Raven | Rachel Roth

Place of Origin: Azarath

Race: Azarathian-Demon Hybrid

Powers/Weapons/Equipment:

Soul-Self | Astral Projection: She was granted the ability to separate her soul from her body. With this ability, she projects a solid black energy form that takes the shape of a bird, called her soul-self. Her soul-self can travel long distances, become intangible, and is able to telepathically communicate. It can act as a shield as it can absorb a limited amount of energy and solid matter, regurgitating them before reintegrating with herself. Using her soul-self, she can convert her physical body into her soul-self and carry or teleport herself and others over a limited distance. Her soul-self can mentally subdue at least one person by enveloping them inside of itself. She is also able to project her soul-self into the minds of others to communicate, facilitate calm or to force people into submission with a devastating mental attack.

Empathy: The psionic ability to sense the emotions of others, allowing her to gain insight into their thoughts and intentions, and even experience their own feelings. This also enables her to sense the mental state of others. Not only that but, Raven can absorb the pain of others into her own body in order to induce rapid healing for them, and can heal herself by going into a trance of emotional calm. She can receive precognitive flashes of the future when exposed to extreme emotion. By using her empathy to guide her, she can track others with her soul-self.

Telekinesis: Raven can merge a small part of her soul-self into objects in order to take control of them, with the object essentially becoming an extension of her soul-self. Whenever she takes control of something, it is covered in the same dark energy that composes her soul-self.

Black Magic: Raven owns a wide arcane knowledge, possessing a vast library of mystic tomes, spellbooks and ancient scrolls. Because of this, she would be seen making potions, using mystical objects like charms and talismans, and, even at times, perform elaborate magical rituals.

Flight: She has the ability to fly and hover at one spot over a period of time.

Weaknesses:

Emotions: Because of her abilities and her demonic heritage, Raven was taught from young on how to control her emotions. Because of this, she always has to keep her emotions in check to ensure that she could keep control of her powers.

Dependence: She needs to say her incantation in order to use her abilities. If one was to restrain her and force her to unable to say the incantation, she could be deemed useless. Nevertheless, she could use her abilities out of sheer will but it is a rare occasion.

Backstory: Raven was born and raised in the pacifistic reality called Azarath by the Azarathian monks, after her mother ran away from home and joined a cult , where she was raped by Trigon. In Azarath, Raven was taught to control her emotions in order to suppress and control her inherited demonic powers by Azar, the founder and leader of Azarath. Eventually she learned about her father and also, that Trigon was planning to come to her dimension and vowed to stop him.

Currently: She arrived at the most unexpected of times and even brought dreary news to the Young Justice. Despite knowing she needs the help of the young superheroes to stop Trigon, she is mostly keeping to herself and keeping a distance between herself and them.

Role in Team: Empath, Air Support, Magician, Mysterious Messenger

Personality: Seemingly Emotionless | Quiet | Intelligent | Sarcastic | Blunt | Introvert | Secretive | Studious | Cynical

Special Relationships: None

Gender Identity and Preference: Pansexual

This is shaping up really nicely. I'm going to create an OOC thread (I'll link everything in the intro post of this thread) when I wake up in the morning, and a profile thread so everyone can post their completed profiles and edit them at their leisure. I think once we get one more profile confirmed, we'll start the IC thread too, so I anticipate us being able to get this party started sometime in the next 24 hours if all goes well.

Powerboy is/was a short-lived Teen Titans character. He was from Apokolips and in the canon version he escaped to Earth and had adventures with the Teen Titans and Supergirl. His powerset is the brick thing and he had some empathic powers that let him do different things with different emotions (e.g. red lightning from anger, protective constructs from positive emotions). He also has a Fatherbox.
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

Mathim

I think for the moment I would say there should be a moratorium on hero characters from Apokolips simply because this will be Earth's first contact with them, and it ain't gonna be exactly cordial. What we would need from Darkseid's homeworld would be, say, Furies. I'd NPC as Granny Goodness being in charge of them and directing their initial incursion.

Rewatching YJ season 2 before I write up my charsheet, and I have to admit, I rather liked how they handled the Hall of Justice being the 'public' location of the Justice League in case baddies thought to target it while the Watchtower was the real base.

Also worth noting there has been some prior contact/conflict with Apokalips as early as season 1 with Desaad in "Disordered", and Intergang in particular is known for using Apokalips tech.

Mathim

I thought that was more New Genesis, although I don't remember it that well. But the entire chain of events is set off by one of their very old Motherboxes being unearthed, and a very direct, targeted attack rather than being there by accident because they were following some other group through a boom tube, if I remember correctly. There wasn't much about Intergang in the show, was there? I know it was in Superman: The Animated Series a few times but I'm not recalling YJ having significant problems there.

This would probably be the first time they're hearing about Darkseid, or at least his intent to go behind Savage's back and attack Earth anyway. The team will finally get a taste of what their mentors are off-planet trying to fight. If they ever do manage to reverse-engineer a boom tube, and take the fight onto Apokolips' surface, they can possibly spring some of the good people of Apokolips out of their torture prison, but for now there's going to be enough culture shock going on with all the new arrivals from who-knows-where/when.

== Character Bio ==

== Personal Information ==
Legal Name: Megan Morse, (human name)  M'gann M'orzz
Alias: Miss Martian
Age: 53 in human years, but a young adult according to martian standards
Sexuality:Pansexual with a leaning heavily towards humanoid males.

== Physical Description ==  Being a martian shapeshifter means physical appearance is nothing to her.  The body is simply clothing for the mind, but that's not to say she doesn't have a preferred shape and body type.  Usually standing at about five feet five inches in height, M'gann has short red hair, amber eyes, and freckles on her face regardless if she's trying to pass herself off as human or not.  Her breasts are a moderate D sized, her body is slender in shape, but she's had enough combat training to have attained some muscle for her body.

== Persona ==  M'gann is a compassionate, caring individual when she's not on a mission.  She can be friendly, if a bit socially awkward at times since she hadn't been on Earth long when she snuck onboard her uncle's ship several years ago.  That said, her lapses in social norms are few and far between, and that's not mentioning her attitude when she's on a mission.  That's when her white martian traits tend to come to the front.  She's confident, cool, calm, and often in complete control of her emotions, almost to the point of appearing cold and ruthless to her enemies, willing to resort to extreme measures to accomplish the mission with little remorse later.  She cares about her teammates, but with the recent death of the entire League and her uncle, she has distanced herself slightly from those around her.  Only when she's emotionally shaken does her control of her powers suffer.

== Key Skills == Shapeshifting - Like all martians, white or green, M'gann can change her shape, skin color, body shape, and anything else she desires with a mere thought.  Cells are elongated or shrunk down, gills can be created to allow underwater breathing, extra arms can be created, basically the only thing she's limited by is her imagination and body mass which can only be stretched so far.  That said, her power of shapeshifting is substantial.

Telekinetic power - Like all martians, M'gann is able to lift, crush, and otherwise manipulate objects many times her size with ease.  And because she's far more powerful than her uncle, she can keep the telekinesis coming a lot longer than most of her kind.  Her time with the teams of heroes on Earth, her power has only grown more refined and precise.

Telepathic ability - All martians are able to talk without saying a word.  It's the preferred method of communication among their race, and so secrets are rarely kept from each other.  That said, M'gann has spent enough time on Earth to understand the need for true privacy, but she's powerful enough she can forcibly extract information from her enemies, leaving them in a vegetative state that might not end without outside help.  Some could argue that death would be preferable to being left in a coma, but that doesn't stop her from doing what she must to ensure a mission is completed and her friends return home safely.  This also doubles as a means to keep her friends psychically linked with each other, and also provides automatic translation regardless of the native language of those around her.

Martian camo -  Like her shapeshifting, M'gann can become almost completely invisible to the naked eye.  While she can't mask her heat signature, making heat vision and its electronic variants effective against her, she can slip about enemy territory with relative ease.  Notably perceptive people can also see through her camouflage, but by and large, most people can easily be fooled by this technique.

Density shifting - Able to walk through walls, or fly right through an opponent, M'gann has an unfair advantage with this skill alone that allows her to phase through virtually any solid mass.  Sticking her hand into someone's chest to crush their heart or to help restart one is just the tip of the iceberg of what she could do with this power.

== Advantages == Superhuman strength - While she's not anywhere near the Man of Steel's level of strength, M'gann is no pushover.  She's strong enough to dent and destroy metal with her bare hands unassisted in any way.

Superhuman stamina - Martians are naturally stronger than their human counterparts, and white martians are especially resilient due to their warrior like tendencies that thousands of years of oppression by the green martian majority hasn't completely changed that fact.

Flight - Psychically assisted as it might be, M'gann can fly with some level of speed that can easily keep her on par with her less speedy companions.

== Disadvantages ==  Physiological weakness to fire - Whether it's a natural response or a psychic imprint forced on every white martian by the majority green martian population thousands of years ago isn't clear, but the fact remains that M'gann can't stand intense heat.  Fire is a sure way to bring her down.

Does not like her true shape and form - While she's come to terms with her white martian ancestry for the most part, M'gann does not make it a habit of walking around as she was born.  Forcing her to reveal her true form will likely garner an extreme emotional response from her, ranging from deep seated shame to explosive, blinding rage.

Camouflaged doesn't mean invisible - Heat vision or electronic means of the same can pierce through the illusion, and notably perceptive individuals can also see the slight distortion in the air martian camo creates.

Emotions effect powers - If she's been emotionally shaken up or she loses her focus for any reason, her ability to fight also suffers.

Greatest strength is greatest weakness - Other, more experienced or powerful psychics can be a danger to M'gann if she's not prepared for them.  Psimon, a natural rival of hers, has gotten the drop on her many times in the past.  As he once said to her, an open mind is a dangerous thing, especially if it's linked to other people.  A psychic attack through a telepathic link can cause a ripple effect, hitting everyone equally regardless of distance from the source of the attack.

Astral Plane vulnerability - When battling another psychic, it's common for them to fight on the Astral Plane, where they can literally shape reality around them as the need arises.  Dragging up painful memories, creating illusions, psychic blasts, the works, but the physical body is left vulnerable during the fight.  A death in the physical world destroys the astral projection since the body can't survive without the mind and vice versa.  Simply disrupting such a fight can also have far reaching repercussions.

Ruthless - When provoked to rage or she deems a situation requires an extreme solution, M'gann has a tendency to take things too far and utterly destroys her enemy's mind, leaving them in a vegetative state.  Some would find such behavior too dark for their liking, but if it keeps her teammates alive, she feels little remorse for her actions more times than not.

Family - Her uncle Maritain Manhunter as well as members of the Team and Superboy could all be used against her. They are her greatest weakness given her love for them means she would do anything for them. Maybe even kill if she had no other option.

== Background == Born on Mars to a white martian father and a green martian mother, M'gann M'orzz had a very lonely childhood growing up since she was born a white martian.  As the minority among the population, and because of their war like pasts thousands of years ago, white martians are commonly oppressed by the green martian majority.  She had few friends outside her family, and her only solace was often found in the transmissions her uncle J'onn sent back to Mars from his new home on Earth.  It was he that inspired her to become a hero, to become a force for good, and to seek a way to take control of her life, away from Mars.  So one day, having decided she had had enough, M'gann left her world behind.

Several years ago, M'gann snuck aboard her uncle's ship and found her way among the young side kicks of the Justice League.  She found many friends and allies among them, and despite a few minor hiccups along the way, largely due to her social awkwardness in trying to adapt to a new planet and its societal norms, she quickly grew into a confident, capable young woman, at least by martian standards since human biologically speaking, she was in her early fifties.  That minor detail aside, and the fact her telepathy was seen as a major breach of privacy outside of a mission or among those that trusted her outside the hero alter ego she had crafted for herself, M'gann had found a new home on Earth. She joined the *Team* along with Robin, Aquqlad, Kid Flash, Artemis and Superboy. She fell in love with Superboy and the two started to date, but when Megan invaded his mind and wiped his memories Connor ended their romance. Miss Martian stayed with the team and started to date Lagoon Boy, but she eventually ended their romance when it become obvious she was still very much in love with Superboy. She found a brother in Garfield Logan - It doesn't take long for a brother sister relationship to form between these two gifted shapeshifters, even if their powers are drastically different from each other. But Garfiled did get his abilities from her. Megan based much of her Earth persona off a sitcom character and even got her catchphrase *Hello Megan* from the show.

Since season 2

Megan has been deeply effected by the Death of Wally and has withdrawn from most missions in the field. She has being spending time with her Uncle Jonn a great deal as well as comforting Artemis through this troubling time as she deals with her greif. Megan and Superboy have become closer again but not rekindled their romance even though both have decalred they still love each other.

Bowen

Name/Identity: Connor Kent (Kon-El)/Superboy
Place of Origin: Cloned on Earth by Cadmus
Race: Human/alien hybred

Powers
Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Superboy possesses the same potential powers as an average Kryptonian. These include:

* Solar Energy Absorption: Under optimal conditions, this is the main source of Superboy's super powers as they are contingent upon exposure to solar radiation from a yellow sun star system. His biological make up includes a number of organs which lack analogues in humans and whose functions are unknown. It is believed that between one or more of these and his bio-cellular matrix, "yellow" solar energy is stored for later use. This allows for the use of these powers to fade when yellow solar radiation is not available instead of immediate failure.

* Heat Vision: Superboy can, as a conscious act, fire beams of intense heat at a target by looking at it. He can vary the heat and area affected.

* Super-Hearing: Superboy' hearing is sensitive enough to hear any sound at any volume or pitch. With skill and concentration, he can block out ambient sounds to focus on a specific source or frequency.

* Enhanced Vision Superboy's vision processes the entire electromagnetic spectrum as well as allowing vast control over selective perception and focus.
This umbrella ability includes the following:
** Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision: Superboy can see well into most of the electromagnetic spectrum. He can see and identify radio and television signals as well as all other broadcast or transmitted frequencies. Using this ability, he can avoid detection by radar or satellite monitoring methods. This also allows him to see the aura generated by living thing.
** Telescopic Vision: This is the ability to see something at a great distance, without violating the laws of physics. Though limited, the exact extent of the ability is undetermined. In function, it is similar to the zoom lens on a camera.
** X-Ray Vision: This is the ability to see through any volume of matter except lead. Superboy's can see things behind a solid, opaque object as if it were not there. He can focus this ability to "peel back" layers of an object, allowing hidden image or inner workings to be observed. The exact type of energy perceived - such as x-rays, cosmic rays, or some other energy invisible to normal humans - is unclear. This ability perceives an ambient energy source though, it does not involve the eye projecting a concentrated, possibly toxic, beam to be reflected back from objects.
** Microscopic Vision: This is the ability to see extremely small objects and images down to the atomic level.
** Infrared Vision: Superboy's can see with better acuity in darkness, and to a degree in total darkness.

* Flight: Superboy is able to manipulate graviton particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight. This ranges from hovering to moving in any posture, in any direction.
* Invulnerability: Due to the interaction of his dense molecular structure and supercharged bio-electric aura, Superboy is nigh-invulnerable to extreme energy forces. In addition, his extends this protection against toxins and diseases.
* Superhuman Stamina: Superboy is able to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an indefinite period of time. This based on his body converting yellow solar radiation directly to energy, but is limited by physiological and psychological needs to eat, drink, and sleep.

* Superhuman Strength: Superboy's strength is augmented by yellow solar radiation interacting with the greater than human density, resilience and biological efficiency of his musculature. His strength is more an act of conscious will on energy fields than actual physical strength. It is this act of conscious will that enables him to perform physical feats that are beyond the mere application force, such as moving a mountain top without said rock crumbling under its own mass.

* Superhuman Speed: Superboy is able to move at incredible speed by sheer force of will. This extends to his perceptions and allows for feats such as catching bullets in mid flight as well as covering vast distances in little or no time.
This also confers:
** Superhuman Agility
** Superhuman Reflexes

* Super-Breath: Superboy is able to create hurricane force winds by exhaling air from his lungs. He can chill the air as it leaves his lungs to freeze targets. He can also reverse the process to pull large volumes of air or vapor into his lungs.

Tactile Telekinesis: At first, Superboy's only superpower was "tactile telekinesis", a telekinetic force field that surrounds his body as a protective shield and allows him to simulate Superman-level speed, strength, flight and invulnerability. The tactile TK field also lets Superboy break free of an opponent's grip by pushing the field outward to force the opponent away. Other creative uses include rendering an opponent immobile by extending the TK field as long as they are both standing on the same ground.
* Telekinetic Superhuman Strength: His full strength is undetermined at this time. He, like Superman seems to be able to lift almost anything he can conceive of. To date, he has lifted the world's largest yacht using his telekinetic strength (a feat of at least 500 tons); he has even been shown to throw a football at Mach 5. Objects lifted with his telekinetic strength do not crumble under their own weight or internal stresses. As his willpower and concentration improve, so will his super strength increase. This does not truly count as super strength in the traditional sense, since Superboy has been bound with chains that were surrounded by an energy field and he was unable to escape because he could not directly affect the chains with his power. It has been stated he is able to lift a battleship which can weigh from 58,000 tons and up.
* Telekinetic Flight: Superboy is able to fly at high supersonic speeds using a reflexive action of his telekinesis, literally dragging himself through the sky. His concentration is required to maintain great speeds. However, as with his strength, his speed was also developing naturally, Superboy is capable of roughly reaching speeds of Mach 5 (1 mile per second) but the limit of his speed currently is unknown.
* Telekinetic Force-Field: By creating a field around his body, he is able to resist or reduce injury from non-energy based attacks by causing the object to be deflected from his personal force field. Bullets and shrapnel are easily deflected. This field does not repel gases or energy based attacks as well, though his skill in deflecting energy attacks is improving.
Tactile Telekinetic Disassemble: By touching an object, Superboy may cause that object to literally fall to pieces. It can be assumed that he could conceivably put an object back together, if he understood how the object functioned in the first place. He can also manipulate aggregate solid masses such as volumes of sand or dust in the same way, causing the individual particles to fly apart in an explosive manner to create particle clouds or a forceful attack. Superboy's hands glow blue when he does this.
* Telekinetic Force Blasts: Superboy also learned that he could project burst of raw psionic energy bolts from Knockout as well. He mostly projects the energy from his hands but it is assumed that he could project them from anywhere since his Tactile TK field permeates from his entire body. The blasts he emits have concussive force equivalent to 5,000 pounds of TNT, but it is speculated that as he grows older this force amount could grow and change along with him.
* Telekinetic Super Hearing: Superboy's TK allows him to hear sounds from far away shown when he was able to hear through glass when he was far away.

Weaknesses
Kryptonian Physiology: Under the effects of a "yellow" sun, Superboy possesses the same potential weaknesses as an average Kryptonian. These include:

    * Vulnerability to Kryptonite
    * Vulnerability to Magic
    * Vulnerability to Red Sun Radiation: The damage from the Red Sun seems to be less effective on him than the full Kryptonians.
    * Yellow Sun Processing: Because Superboy absorbed less solar energy than Superman as an adult, Superboy is unable to process as much yellow sun energy as Superman can; as a result, overtaxing his powers could spell his death, as his body would literally begin to feed on itself, unable to absorb solar energy fast enough to restore itself.

Backstory (Up to the end of season 2): After the death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday, Project Cadmus Executive Director Paul Westfield wanted to create a clone replacement of Superman that would follow the agendas of Project Cadmus as well as his own personal agenda. After failed attempts to acquire Superman's DNA (which included an attempt to steal his corpse), Westfield decided to genetically alter a human clone to look like Superman and made the clone to be the closest human equivalent to a Kryptonian as they could based on their research. During their research when they had Superman's body, Westfield's scientists discovered a bio-electric aura surrounding Superman's body that provided some of Superman's powers such as invulnerability, flight through a form of self-telekinesis, protection from getting dirty and protection from skin-tight clothing to be damaged. The aura was translated into a telekinetic field for a human that would give the clone the ability to simulate Superman's powers such as flight, invulnerability, and strength. This was later known as "tactile telekinesis" by the scientists. After twelve failed attempts, the clone known as Experiment 13 was grown from a single cell to a teenage boy in less than a week and was a complete success. The clone was given implanted memories and underwent an artificial maturation process intended to match the age of the original Superman. This clone was released from his cloning tube too early, however, and emerged as a teenager. While at first calling himself "Superman", he would later be known as Superboy.

Niiiiiiiiice! I am freakin' loving it. Approved, approved, approved! I'm going to post the link for the Character Profiles thread (IC and OOC threads are up and running and linked in the first post of this thread) shortly, so go ahead and paste them there for ease of reference, and feel free to start in both OOC and IC thread, as I've prepped the intro and allowed for everyone to have a sort of sense of what's happening in the moment. No threats from Apokolips are forthcoming just yet, as they'll have other strange visitors to have to deal with, and find out if they're friend or foe.

I think the GM has this intention in mind as he wants to start this game following the show's continuity. But he has some plans for plot-wise which he described in his first post of this thread.

Admittedly though, I only watch a few episodes of the last season. I had to read the summaries instead to get an idea on what had happened.

It is, in that it uses the ending point of season 2 as the continuity we're following, but rather than basing it on what the upcoming season 3 will be, we're making up an alternative that opens up the possibility for many different characters that haven't yet been utilized, almost like our own collective wishlist. So pretty much all the same characters are available, all the events in the show have transpired (including relationships and their ultimate ends or successes).

You'd probably do better to focus on the characters and their relationships than most of the events in the show, it's very character-driven so getting more in their heads will give the best perspective, I think.

Juggtacular

Name/Identity: Virgil Ovid Hawkins | Static
Place of Origin: Dakota City
Race: Meta-Human(Reach Empowered)
Powers/Weapons/Equipment:

Electromagnetism - Static's meta-gene allows him to completely manipulate all of the facets of the electromagnetic spectrum. He can shoot bolts of electricity, absorb it from other sources, magnetize people and objects. He can even fly by magnetizing a piece of metal against Earth's natural polarity. Under the tutelage of Black Lightning, Static has rapidly gain advanced control over his powers.

With concentration he can create phenomena like ball lightning, actual shapes of solid electricity and even more. The sheer amount of electromagnetic energy coursing through his body creates a natural "static" field when it comes to mental manipulation, making telepathy and other such attacks far less effective. He even has a healing factor due to the electricity overclocking his bodies functions and metabolism.

Static Saucer - Static’s main(really only) form of transportation is in the form of a metal disk that while being incredibly light and thin, is stronger than reinforced steel. By running a charge through the entirety of the disk, he can magnetically adhere himself to it and cause it to soar through the air. He can “fly” at several hundred miles per hour and is incredibly skilled moving around.

Aside from that, Static has integrated a plethora of “features” into the disk. The main being that the disk itself is actually comprised of six metal plates that can be magnetically connected into a variety of shapes; several of the plates can even be used as projectiles while Static uses the others to fly.

Shock Staff - Comprised as the same super light and strong material as his flight disk, Static has created a retractable/telescopic bo staff that like the real thing is 5.9 feet in length when it is at its normal size. When retracted it’s about the size of a standard test tube, and it can extend to a maximum of 12 feet. Since it’s made of metal, Static can run a current through it during combat to make it more effective. He can electrocute someone with a strike, achieve similar results to his “Taser Punch”, or even use the staff like a laser rifle and shoot blasts of energy from the either end.

HUD Mask - The mask Static wears is more than just to conceal his identity and show off his insanely good fashion sense. Woven into the inside of the mask is Heads-Up Display that is viewed through thin, yet tough and damage resistant plastic-polymer lenses; they can be polarized to shield his eyes from the brightness of his abilities as well.  This HUD shows Static useful information on his environment and similar things; it can even be viewed through the holographic projector on his disk for others.

Weaknesses: The most obvious weakness Static has is of course water. Rain doesn't bother him(maybe he'll get a cold if he's out too long); large bodies of water however will short him out faster than squirting a tube TV with a water gun(he's never done that...swear). Aside from the main one though, one of Static's biggest weaknesses is that he has a finite amount of energy at any given time, and this gets drained at differing rates depending on what he's doing. Even if he goes into a fight fully charged, his energy may be sapped within minutes depending on the severity of the brawl and what techniques he has to use. As his energy is essentially tied into the amount of bio-electrical energy he has, when it drops past a certain point, he suddenly feels fatigue as if he's been fighting or exercising all day.

If he runs out of energy and has nothing to charge himself with, he's just a normal guy and fully vulnerable to all manner of harmful things. He is also mostly useless against insulators like rubber, and aside from generating enough heat to set them ablaze, can do nothing against them with his powers. He can also be drained by an outside source and reduced to normal if he's not prepared to fight against it.

Since he generates electromagnetic fields like Earth and the Sun; his powers are tied into those same fields. For example, if there happens to be a particularly powerful sunspot, his powers could amplify one-hundred fold, or diminish to near nothing. There's no way to guess just how he'll react to situations like that.

Backstory (Up to the end of season 2): In February, Virgil was at the train station, waiting for his sister when he became one of the many victims to be abducted by the Light. He was held in stasis with another "batch" of abductees in Queen Bee's fortress until they were transferred to the Manta Sub, and from there taken to a mobile Reach Base in the Western Pacific. There he and the others were experimented on for just under a week.  Fortunately, the group he was with was saved by The Team, but not before Black beetle and Shimmer(Virgil has held resentment for her since she betrayed them) made things difficult.

After they were rescued, they were taken to STAR Labs in Taos, New Mexico for debriefing. That was when his powers first began to manifest. For more than a month, Virgil, Tye Longshadow, Ed Dorado Jr, and Asami Koizumi were kept at the Taos facility while the STAR scientists tried to discover the extent of their abilities. Long hours of tests, longer hours of training, and all the while being treated like kids. They finally got fed up and Virgil led an escape from the facility. Blue Beetle tracked them down and convinced them to come back, where they had to fight the rogue Red Volcano.

After that fight, they escaped again, only to be found by Lex Luthor. He offered them a deal; a safehouse, resources and protection in exchange for them striking back against The Reach. They did for a short while, until he told them he had a way to really hurt the alien "peacebringers". A Father Box was delivered that took them to Warworld so they could rescue Team members that had been captured. When they arrived, they were already surrounded, but they prevailed and found their friends. Unfortunately Black Beetle was already there and they would have been defeated if not for the original Speedy/Red Arrow, now going by Arsenal showing up and helping them out by releasing Mongul.

While he and Black Beetle fought, they escaped. Nightwing told them they had a place on the Team, but Virgil and the others declined when he dismissed Arsenal's actions, despite him being the only reason they made it out okay. The Runaways extended an offer to Arsenal and he joined them. Then they took a boom tube back to the safehouse. There they discovered that Luthor was the one who'd captured Arsenal and used them as a distraction so he could steal the Crystal Key for Warworld and bring it under control of The Light.

In June, Virgil was contacted to help 39 other heroes disable the Magnetic Field Disruptors placed by the Reach to destroy Earth when they were exposed to the Council. Virgil was Delta Squad along with Black Lightning who would later become his mentor. They succeeded along with everyone else in saving the world, and after that Virgil was offered a spot on the team. He accepted, and now going by Static, his first mission was to follow up on Batgirl's lead about Vandal Savage with Gamma Squad.

Currently: After learning all they could about Savage's plans, Gamma Squad(Blue Beetle, Lagoon Boy, Robin, Static, Wonder Girl) returned home and things went back to about as normal as possible for The Team. Virgil has in the past six months been working for S.T.A.R. Labs, as he has an impressive genius level intellect. Of course this hasn't impacted his work in Young Justice, and he is just as dedicated to the team now as when he was first inducted. One day he plans to join the League.

Role in Team: Tactics, Air Specialist, Problem Solver, Elemental

Personality: Virgil is a driven individual, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure something is seen through to the end. He’s no stranger to hard work and hard living, as most of his life can be defined as just that; he tries not to let it weigh him down too much though. Another direct result of his hard life is his outlook on it; he’s seen the world for what it is, and knows what to expect.

If something seems like a lost cause though; that doesn't mean he’ll treat it like that. You don’t become a hero by letting the cards fall where they may and giving up. True he may look like a guy from the projects, because that's what he is; however his mannerisms hide an impressive intelligence and surprisingly sharp wit.

Special Relationships:
Tye Longshadow - Virgil and Tye became good friends during their time as experiments for the Reach, and then further as the Runaways. Even though Tye didn't stay on the team, he and Virgl still hang out.
Asami Koizumi - Virgil learned Japanese just so he and Asami could talk. The two of them are good friends, and he's happy she and Tye found each other.
Blue Beetle - Tye told him plenty of stories about Jaime, so when they met Virgil took an instant liking to him. He's one of his best friends on the team.
Arsenal - Despite his prickly personality, Virgil had Arsenal's back when he needed it, and vice versa. That's a bond forged in fire that can't be easily broken...even if the guy is a dick sometimes.
Eduardo Dorado Jr. - He and Ed are pretty cool. He wished he and the others had stayed on the team, but he's not holding any grudges.
