My husband says, "all I like is finishing up" no matter where he is in a project.  When my eight year old told me that one day I like to have died.  Too much like her daddy.  lol

This just made me so happy! This is my characters profile picture now. >.>

And I think she was actually Faora or something from the Man of Steel movie. -shrugs- I'm not a superman fan, so I didn't see it, but I thought she would be perfect for a high rank barbarian warrior.

No problem <3 Feel free to give me a hint if you need something photoshopped, I'm no expert, but I enjoy it.

And apparently it was, I talked it over with someone else who said the same thing. I wouldn't know, I've never been much of a superhero-fan myself.

Deathnote

Deathnote

Character Name: Culas "Crow" Firefist
Alliance: Royals
Title: Apprentice
Age: 18
Face Claim: Colin Morgan

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

::General::

--Appearance--
Race:
Human with Elf Blood

Height:
5ft 11in

Weight:
Hair Color:
Black

Eye Color:
Dark Brown

Sexual Preference:
Heterosexual

Distinguishing Marks:
Scars all over the body

Items:
Crow normally wears a black hooded cloak over primarily brown attire, black knee high soft leather boots, and a black leather belt with pouches and a dagger.  In addition to his bracers, Crow also wears dark blue leather armour under his brown jacket.

Bracers of protection: A gift from his mentor, these bracers magically gives protection on par with chain mail. This makes him as hard to injure as a warrior in chain mail, but not invulnerable.  It also provides no protection to any attack that affects an area rather than a single target.
Dagger: Standard 8" double-edged bladed dagger.
Elven Longbow with a quiver of arrows
Flame Sabre: A gift from his mentor, Crow has a 32-inch sabre sheathed at his side.  When triggered by its wielder, the blade becomes sheathed with crimson red flames.

::Character::

Personality: Normally an easy-going person with a carefree and lackadaisical attitude and approach to things.  Crow is best described as a daydreamer who likes to spend most of his time with his head up in the clouds.  He could even be described as a being a bit goofy.  He's approachable and tries to be friendly with other people.  In spite of this, he can be surprisingly prideful and stubborn, leading to him making very reckless decisions at times. Once he's made up his mind about something, he'll see through it to the end.

Despite not exactly being the brightest bulb in the class, he can be very perceptive and analytical to the point of practically becoming a human lie-detector.  He may even fake his usual aloof and carefree nature to hide the fact that he's paying attention for once.  He's most likely to be like this when he has finally set his mind on a single, tangible goal.  This can be especially true whenever he's helping out a friend due to his great sense of loyalty.

Biggest Fear:
Becoming like his father

Talents/Flaws:
Talented and adept with the sword, especially with his wand
Skill enough with the longbow that he can use one if he has to
Still relatively inexperienced in terms of combat and adventuring
Has a bit of a goofy personality and tendency to daydream a lot
Has such a horrible sense of direction that he easily gets lost a lot

Mage:
Yes

Used spells:
Elemental Training
Does not use specified spells.  Of the elements that Feldor uses, Crow has only learned how to conjure fire and control air.  He has also learned how to tap into flows of energy across the world like rivers of magical energy only visible to those that use it.

Sixth Sense
A magical ability unique to Crow is a sort of "sixth sense" that activates whenever he's in danger and gives him seemingly omnipresent detection of his immediate surroundings.  It is, however, up to Crow to identify the source of and react to his warnings, so he can be tricked if he doesn't think he's in any "real" danger.

History:
Born within the Northern Kingdom of Gathras, Crow was the bastard child of the future Barbarian King Dakeyras Firefist and the Barbarian Guard Danyal.  The relationship between Dakeyras and Danyal was... complicated, to say the least.  At first, Danyal denied the fact that Crow's father was Dakeyras and refused to tell anyone who the father was.  She was intent on raising the child by herself.  It was obvious to anyone who knew anything about them that Dakeyras was the father of the child.  One of the reasons for this was because Danyal was a well-known non-human sympathizer who was against the fervent racism that plagued her homeland.  The only reason why she was not outright ostracized was due to her strength and skill as a Barbarian Warrior.

Due to Danyal's duties as a guard, she was able to live within the household of the King of Gathras.  As a result, for the first three years of Crow's life, he was raised within that same household.  He was taught and raised to be a warrior from the moment he could walk with the expectation that he would eventually follow in his parents' footsteps.  He was also close to his grandmother on his father's side, though Danyal continued to deny any blood relationship.  When it was eventually revealed that Dakeyras' mother, Crow's grandmother was part elf, Danyal was one of the few people who was there to witness the Barbarian Queen's decapitation.  Both Danyal and Crow were also witnesses to Dakeyras' official duel against his father.  At first, Danyal was happy for Dakeyras' victory and coronation as the new King of Gathras.  Dakeyras, however, began his campaign against non-humans in an effort to hide his impure bloodline.  Disgusted with the new King's actions, Danyal officially retired from the King's guard and took her son to the furthest outskirts of the Northern Kingdom.

For the next few years, Crow grew up in a town to the south of Gathras, where he befriended several non-human citizens.  There, his training as a warrior continued, though this time in an environment where the racism wasn't as bad as in the capital of Gathras.  In spite of her previous station, Danyal treated all non-humans as equals, something of which Crow would eventually emulate in his attitude toward others.  As Crow grew up, however, he grew more and more curious about the identity of his father.  One day, when Crow was twelve years old, Danyal was infected with an illness.  Knowing that her time was almost up, Danyal sent a message to King Dakeyras, requesting for an audience with him.  Danyal finally admitted to Dakeyras that Crow was indeed the bastard son of the new King.  Dakeyras wanted to take Crow back to the king's household, but Danyal refused to allow this.  It was only when Crow himself requested to be allowed to follow his father back that Danyal relented.

Crow's life grew much harsher than he was used to due to the strict environment of the king's household.  It was well-known by his cousins that he was a bastard child and was regularly bullied and beaten as a result.  He was expected to excel and succeed as a warrior and was forced to endure harsh and brutal training.  His relationship with his father was chilly, at best.  It seemed that the king had closed himself off to anyone after the death of his family.  In an effort to impress his father, Crow continued working hard in developing his swordsmanship.  It was uncertain whether or not Dakeyras had taken notice of the young man's talents, but he did teach him the elven form of Blade Dancing.

Any chance of the father-son bond growing was shattered, however, when a plague struck out in one of the villages under Dakeyras' command.  Crow could not believe it, but it seemed as though the blame was being placed squarely on non-humans.  He confronted his father about this in an effort to stop such baseless rumours, but he did not get the answer that he was hoping for.  Finally fed up, Crow ran away from home and headed off to the town of Gathras in which he grew up in.  There, he rekindled friendships, both old and new and reunited with his mother.  Unfortunately for Crow, that same town of Gathras also happened to be where the massacre of non-humans occurred.  Danyal jumped to the defense of the non-human citizens, but her illness caught up to her and as a result, was killed in combat.  Fuelled with anger, Crow attempted to avenge the death of his loved ones by punishing those responsible for the massacre.  With vengeance in mind, Crow came upon the sight of a group of barbarians attempting to attack a family of Orcs.  Crow knew this family personally and immediately jumped to their defense, his sixth sense activating for the first time due to the anger that fuelled his actions.  Realizing that there was no hope of accomplishing his goal, Crow reluctantly escaped with the family of Orcs to Cydilla.

As it turned out, the Orc family's eldest son had escaped to Cydilla several years ago and became a mage.  Crow escorted the family of Orcs to the Orc Mage's household.  It was there that the Orc Mage was able to identity Crow's latent magical talent and the sixth sense that he possessed.  In an effort to learn more about his magical abilities, Crow was introduced to one of the Orc Mage's acquaintances, the Royal Adviser Feldor Kelmaric.  For the next two years, Crow would be under the apprenticeship of the Royal Adviser.

La Dame, that would be a real shame. I hope you find that you do not need to.

Deathnote, I really don't want to rain on your parade, but Crow could not have the same wand as Feldor. His is essentially an artifact that he receive from fro the secret island magic school. He is not gifted with the ability to create enchanted items and has no idea how his wand was created. However going along with his natural affinity for fire may I suggest a "Flame Tongue." It would an actual sword but when triggered by the wielder the blade bursts into flame.

Also he is an apprentice, the bracers actually come in different strengths, Feldors being the most powerful, which he acquired on an adventure. I could see Fleldor giving his apprentice a set also gotten as treasure that are only equal to chain mail, a couple steps down from full plate, but still well protected.

Kay, made the changes to Crow's gear.  Hopefully the leather armour and the sixth sense can make up for it.  >_>

Totally want my own wand, though... eh... maybe later.  :p

Okay... At this rate, I think I can safely predict the opening of an OOC by friday night, and the first IC post 24 hours after that...

There we go, finally sent in my first sheet. The second sheet will come whenever I see it fit to introduce the character (Most likely shortly after the game has started, if I have time). It won't really be someone of importance though, at the current time I'm pending on a prostitute.
