You need to wrap it between two IMG tags. Like this: [img]https://elliquiy.com/forums/avs/avatar_4080_1326991506.png[/img] leads to my avatar.

How come I can't see the avatar I picked out for my profile and things?

It's probably because it was too big, so it didn't parse right. The maximum dimensions of an avatar are 150 px X 200 px and avatars support only .jpg, .png, .gif (for sure, I'm not certain about the others).

Oh that explains a lot I tried to up load it from a link directly and I guess it said no

It's okay, but you need to specify in the Profile -> Forum Profile (https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;area=forumprofile) that you want to "Specify avatar by URL."

That avatar already must have the right dimensions, otherwise it won't parse. ;)

Is it possible to load pitchers up stright from the desk top its self?

Yes. In that same page you select "Upload an avatar," click on the "Browse" button and then locate the file on the desktop. ;)

Okay what is its not an Avatar and just a normal pitcher I want to up load from desk top how do I do that ?

In that case you can upload it to the Elluiki or any free picture hosting service like Photobucket.com, Imageshack.us or TinyPic.com :-)
