Is there a way we could get an option that cancels out the preview box?

So that way you just get a little nice list of the PMs you have in your PM Box, without the little picture on top or on bottom previewing the messages?

I don't think there is a way to get rid of the message at the bottom of the screen.  It's a display of the selected message and there is always a selected message indicated in the list.

At the top, if you are seeing your avatar and the Shout Box, just click the little red triangle in the upper right corner.  Of course, that closes the SB everywhere else too.  You would need to use the bigger SB in another tab or window.
