Rainbow Six craving.

Well since Rainbow Six Siege decided to hold up a middle finger to people who hate online interactions and deny a singleplayer story (which is such bullshit since this is the perfect time to cash in on terrorist killing and big international teams of badasses) I propose we make our own Rainbow Six story!

(Maybe with Blackjack...and Hookers...infact..forget the Story! X3 )

Anyway, jokes aside, there are any number of scenarios we could do with Team Rainbow, multiple teams being needed to be created in order to handle the massive increase in terrorism, both the typical ones, ranging from fanatics to those who just want to cause chaos, and the mysterious White Masks.

Or the previous Rainbow Team was nearly completely wiped out after a deadly prolonged engagement in a White Mask facility. Now the funding nations of R6 need to replace them before any lethal attacks happen.

Cue the intro music and recruitment montage, our heroes cam he from any country on Earth and any branch or military or police. So whose with me?  Dont you want to be part of Team Rainbow?

Just out of curiosity, is based at all upon the book that spawned the game(s), or just the game(s)?

Hmm... I would go with both. The eco terrorists from before that saw humanity as a plague on earth could have possibly had some survivors who continued their work. Later on forming the White Masks who are on the move now.

Unlike in the games Rainbow Six hasn't been sent out to every single terror attack. Maybe they were even disbanded since the newest game keeps mentioning that team Rainbow was re activated. That might work better but its up for discussion.

I think the rebuilding of Rainbow in a more modern era where the need for boots on the ground specialists becomes more apparent. R6 would be made up of the various funding nations, each expecting Rainbow to be an answer to the increase in global terrorism. In fact, the closest analogue to that would be X-COM, with various nations wanting as much support as possible while bribing the group with increased funding from their nation and additional equipment and logistical support. Yay politics!

Anyway, count me interested.

Wohoo! Yes! We just need some more people to get this adventure rolling.

I'm already thinking up characters and such. Our tech guy/gal could be a reformed hacker, who thought hacking companies and such was fun and awesome, till they saw how much it hurt people and when trying to explain this empathy to their fellow hackers was betrayed. So now this person is a White Hat, protecting servers and hacking those who really deserve it.

My own character i'm working on is a survivor of a White Mask encounter. She was with the FBI HRT (Hostage Rescue Team) And only barely made it out alive. Her experience makes her a target for recruitment by R6
