From the video I watched a game like SAO would most likely be possible.   Their goal was easily me and I am really hoping this comes out soon and with good results.

Several reasons, actually, including its all red-on-black color scheme and the migraine headaches using one for more than half an hour at a time could induce.

It was more of a 3d-gaming viewer than virtual reality anyway.

I cannot wait to hear the reviews on how DOOM BFG edition goes.  I really hope this takes off.

while it's not true VR like what you are thinking of with the Matrix or SAO, this is pretty interesting.
It's like TrackIR's super big brother with literally taping an IMAX screen to your face :P

And seriously, I had issues with games that incorporated High Wire antics over deep chasms like jedi knight 1 and 2. With this it's going to be nuts to free fall in games.

My only concern would be for how close the screen is to your eyes and what problems may occur from that.
