QuoteDo you even know how to kill me?

I'm gonna cut your head off, see if that works.

*giggles*

Superhero stuff isn't really my thing... but I make a HUGE exception in the case of X-Men and especially Wolverine.
What a wicked game to play, to make me feel this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you.
What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way.
What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you.

Baby, it's all I know,
that your half of the flesh and blood that makes me whole...

I was confused, I was under the impression that this movie was supposed to be Wolverine's orgins.
But I don't remember early Wolverine and Gambit ever existing in the same area.
I mean, sure, it's a comic plot and those things change all the damn time.
But Wolverine. Gambit.
*scratches head, chalks it up to a silly fangirl, and wanders off*
I really should get me one of these.

Will

*nods*  Looks good, although I also find it puzzling that Gambit is involved.  Of course, continuity with the comics has never been a big priority to them anyway.

Wasn't there a comic storyline about Wolverine's origins, too?  I wonder if this is going to be based on that.

In one of his origins books, I'm pretty sure that I remember him being a samurai. It's one of those things, comic books don't have to be consistent with each other.

I think that the movie goes to present day or near it, and that's why Gambit shows up.

That we can agree on, Gambit was always my favorite. He's good at both close- and long-range fighting and can turn anything into a weapon. I really hope they don't screw him up too bad-he struck me as a little flamboyant in the trailer, and he's not even Cajun. Plus he doesn't have that black-eyes-with-red-irises thing.
Considering a permanent retirement from Elliquiy, but you can find me on Blue Moon (under the same username).

Was that the Blob in that Movie? I'm totally excited now!

It seems as though they aren't going to include Wolverine's first appearance in this movie...bummer, Hulk vs Wolverine would make for some cool action sequences...

This movie does look like it's going to be awesome though.
