Appearance: Empress Sextus is a tall, lithe woman, standing at around 5'9" with a slim build.  Her hair is a dark brown and falls in waves to her waist when down.  On state occassions, she wears it up in the old Roman/Byzantine style, otherwise she wears it in a braid.  Has dark blue eyes.

Personality:  A very charismatic woman, Octavia used that...and the fact she was a woman, to help usher in what she coined the new Golden Age of Rome.  She is an intellectual and is seen by most to be cold and aloof.  She has a very warm family life, but family is private, and there is much speculation as to whether she has a family at all, or if it is yet another ploy for good ratings...

Occupation: Politician, Former war hero in the Roman-American conflict. Centurion

Appearance: Tall and and muscular from a career in the legion. he has short blond hair and pale green eyes. A large scar over his right eye cuts a gap in his eyebrow, and runs down to the bottom of his nose. He has very angular features, and appears rough around the edges.
he is clean shaven and cuts an impressive figure. Though he walks with a small limp from an old grenade wound.

Personality: Barius is a methodical man and had a penchant for politics. He is a charismatic individual supporting the Imperial side of the current political debates. He doesn't blame the empress for the debacle but her advisers (all of whom were terminated and now take up a position of no-confidence.) He adamantly supports the current ruling body.
