If you don't know despite the efforts of T.V. and the movies to convince people otherwise there is no O in American military time.
It's always zero. So when some paramilitary guy spoke up when standing outside the buses to boot camp and he said O'fourteen hundred.
The drill sergeant laid into his ass, using the old adage, "There is no O in the military."

So when role call came around this poor Irish-American soldier answered the question what is your name with, "John Zero-Maly, sir!"
If you're searching the lines for a point, well you've probably missed it; there was never anything there in the first place.
