A prince white as snow (Genderbent Snow White for a Wicked Queen)

A/U Snow White story where Snow White is male and called Yuki Irojiro.

Similar to the original tale, Yuki's father remarried years after the death of Yuki's mother, he married a beautiful princess the same age (so she says) as eighteen year old Yuki... then one day barely a year into the marriage without warning, the king suffers a mysterious heart attack and dies...

Things take a turn for the stranger when instead of the crown being passed to Yuki, the king's son and heir, the beautiful young queen takes control... and somehow, everyone in the palace seems to be supporting her...

Then if that wasn't enough, Yuki himself is placed on lock down in his private suite... what is the queen going to do to him? Whatever it is, he has no intentions of sticking around to find out... time to escape!



I was thinking Yuki would climb down vines or use bedsheets tied together to escape out the window and flee into the forest to seek refuge with some old dwarf friends of his father's... and the queen would be actively looking for the prince, whose beauty is unmatched by any prince or king in all the land...

Details about the queen and whether or not she really is as young as she looks, is up to you.
