I love the concept of the lands beyond the mists. Established undead ruling over the living, citizens living in fear, gypsy encampments, displaced heroes from other realms scratching their way through the dark. Mix in a little Poe or Lovecraft style horror and I am weak in the knees. Anybody got anything like that going on?

I haven't kept up with D&D rules since ancient times (AD&D 2e), and not really interested in learning a new system. Or doing all that much dice rolling. Though the Ravenloft rolls for fear / insanity were always fun! Not opposed to character death as long as I can create another and jump back in.
