Refering Members

Can only those who are admins/mods or members for many years refer members, or is it possible for relitivly lowly members who are quite new, like me, to refer members? And if the latter, how do I do it? If it's the former, sorry for bothering you with the question.

Anyone can do so!  But in order to have this show up as a refer in your profile -- which I'm guessing is what you're going for -- all you have to do is use the link in the box labelled Referrals Link on your profile.  Anyone who uses that link to get here when signing up will count as a referral for you.  :)

How does one get a referral link hit? I've never posted that link anywhere but apparently have 99 hits.

I know people browsing your ons and offs (new system) can count as a hit.  Otherwise, I'm not sure.
