Avatar the Last Airbender the live action series

Hello and hope you all are having a good day. So I recently commented in the topic regarding the Last Airbender, a movie that for all time remains a stink to anyone's fresh day. So now we venture into the new era of adaptations with the series that is currently on Netflix and renewed for a second season. The floor is open for discussion on this series and its many plots and characters and well...how it holds up to the animated series itself. 

This is for Book One. And you can easily binge watch it considering how many episodes it has, I believe 8 in total. 

Far as my initial thoughts it was ok, I mean it wasn't great, but it did manage to do some things good and I would be remiss if I felt like they skipped over a lot of Kataang moments. I don't wish to spoil it too much but then again spoilers exist so yeah. If you don't wish to be spoiled regarding this series might want to look away just in case someone does let something slip.
