"Where did you put that shell?" Linda asked. "When I last saw it I think you were holding it."

"I'll ju..." she tried  standing up, immediately regretting it. "Babe, can you get it for me?"

"Is everything okay?" Cami asked, looking worried.

"I'm okay," Linda replied. "I think I'm still working off way too much anaesthetic though, I'm not totally with it yet."

“ another long story” she smiled handinglind the bag

"Maybe we should explain our next visitor before she arrives," Linda said. "Because I'm still not absolutely used to it and I've met him a few times at this point."

“ it is so complicated I’m not sure where to begin”

"Well I'm not going to be much more help," Linda said. "About the only thing I can figure out is that, whatever she is, she's considerably older than she appears to be."

"At least that means we can be fairly sure she knows what she's talking about," Linda said. "At least, I HOPE she does anyway."
