What is your favorite D&D Character Concept?

I've seen questions on D&D race and class, but what about your favorite overall concept?

Probably my favorite concept is a woman who was kidnapped and tortured as a young girl.  She's a woman with a traumatic history of being kidnapped when she was 14 and then sold to an abusive man.  She escaps and becomes a pacifist healer who is afraid of becoming like the monster that made her what she is.  I usually pick up about 3-7 years after she's freed from the situation and tries to reintegrate into society.
