Swedish-born DJ Avicii died today. He was 28.

So heartbroken over this. He was the first DJ I really listened to an absolutely loved. His music was something else, talented guy too. He is gone too young. My heart goes out to his friends and family, he will be missed.

Despite being told to stop by zoo attendants, the ignorant paying guests continued, throwing rocks, bricks and perhaps pieces of concrete at the graceful animal. The female died from irreparable damage to one of her feet >:( Weeks later, the crod attacked another younger roo at the same zoo with the same ugly methods. ???

Mm, more or less. It's not really clear from the article *what* he was sentenced to twenty years for in Belgium, but I *think* it's hinted that this trial was for his recruiting and leading many of the gang that struck in Paris in late 2015 (and many of whom were killed in Paris or in Saint-Denis a few days later). He is still set to stand trial in France for the Paris attacks proper.

I'll have a look at French news sources about this when I have the time. :)

Six years I think - no wait, seven. :D I was on vacation in London and staying at a hotel just a few blocks from the hospital in July '13; left the capital only a week or so before Prince George was born. :)

  The possibility has been floated every time there has been a chemical attack in Syria. So called "false flag" operations are a very common conspiracy theory nowadays.
