Blood Money Casino (Supernatural Game LGBT friendly)

There is a niche here for everyone. Be warned though the atmosphere is more intoxicating than the drinks. You might forget the person you were when you first entered the doors. Though you might also like the person you've become."

   When John, Johnny to most of his friends, Wolfblood inherited the land of his forefathers, gifted to them by the white men who had taken so much from them in the past, the small casino and the vast amount land Johnny didn't think much of it. After all, he'd been distant from his parents.  Moving to New York he'd become a wealthy lawyer not wanting for money. Young, still in his twenties, Johnny felt as if he were on the top of the world. He had no worries, no woman had tied him down, he had no children. The world was his playground. As a single man he had the luxury of being able to save money. It wasn't until his mogul of a partner took a closer look at it that Johnny found himself back in the homeland of his people.

   A wealthy older woman, at 38 Vivian Porter is as fierce in the courtroom as she is in the bedroom. With a nose for business Vivian has dipped her hands in multiple things in order to grow her wealth. Vivian saw potential where Johnny did not. The little casino and gregarious amount of land, bringing in a dismal amount of money currently, was nothing but dollar signs to Vivian. Doing her research Vivian discovered just how much Johnny had inherited, vicariously, how much he could stand to gain if he had the funds and the right business partner. Drawing up the plans, blueprints, and business proposal Vivian withdrew half of her savings taking her plan to the younger man.

   Not a stupid man, Johnny found himself unable to see anything but profits from the plans Vivian had. Johnny took his own savings, sold his condo as well as his second car, and began turning her plans into a reality. They would turn that little casino into a grand one. On the land where there lay nothing but rock and dirt they would build an Oasis. A spot millions a year would visit and stay. It would take time, money, had work, and a little bit of WolfBlood, but they would build an Empire. What Vivian didn't know, being a human was that Johnny being of the WolfBlood was a werewolf and the resort spot she had chosen was on a supernatural hotspot. Bringing in more than just humans.

   Five years later, the dream Vivian and Johnny had, became an up and running reality. People poured in everyday. Some stayed their entire summer at the resort and casino. It was no unfamiliar thing to see multiple millionaires at every table around you. With several attractions Blood Money Casino is not for the wife and kids, but the single man and perverted. The Casino's newest attraction being the troupe of lovely Burlesque dancers that put on a show every Friday and Saturday. Each month the numbers and dances change. Though there are other attractions the Burlesque hardly take away from them as they fall on different days.

Supernatural Beings

Vampires - They do not sparkle. At all, well some of them do but that's because of the actual diamonds they're wearing. While not killed by garlic or silver the sunlight does weaken and harm them, as their eyes work better than other creatures they are sensitive. Direct sunlight weakens a vampire who hasn't feasted on fresh human blood. They are basically that of a mortal. Not up to their typical speed and strength. They have retractable fangs and each has their own specific taste for blood as no two humans taste the same. They do not need blood to survive, but they do need it to maintain their strength. The older the vampire the longer they can go without blood. Vampires can age, those it is at their choice. Going a month without blood with age them physically.

Werewolves/Wolfblood - The Wolfblood clan got their name because of the gift they were given. Each son of the family, at a young age, is taken out into the woods by a cave and delivered to the oldest of werewolves. It is there that they learn to hunt, to be of the wolf, then on the night of the full moon they are given the gift. So far only two have died because of this. Werewolves are strong, much stronger than vampires though not as fast. Their senses are far better than that of any being on Earth. Most of them are male in the area. They are harmed by silver and change during the full moon. Nothing will stop this. Though the more changes they go through the more control they can exert over themselves.

Witches/Warlocks - Humans who have taken the time to learn of the ancient magic in their blood. More often than not they have abilities over one element. It's what they hone their training on. Though the things that they can do are limited. It ebbs away at their physical strength. It's almost impossible for a witch to place a spell or curse on a werewolf because they are strong physically and the curse they are under takes so much away from them. Most of the time inanimate objects and humans are the object of their magic.

Demons - Extremely rare beings. Demons are not often found among mortals as it is almost impossible to escape hell. The very few that have escaped tend to lay low, as they don't want to be sent back by Gabriel. There is one exception though. A human who has sold their soul in order to have a demon's soul embody them. The demon then takes over the body of the human with all of it's power, memories, and intelligence. Though they are now mortal and will, eventually, die and go back to hell. It's something not many demons will choose to do as they get 100 years of peace at the maximum.

First the Gm's are CarnageIncarnate and Ceralilly
The World Building has more information.
This will probably be a semi-fast paced roleplay. I will need any players who are interested to be able to commit to a post once every three to seven days.
There will be a Maximum of 2 main characters per player, the GM's are exempt from this as there will be a need to be in mutiple places at once with different characters. These would be characters that are required a CS.
There will be no God-Moding or forcing characters not your own into situations they cannot easily get out of or are uncomfortable with.
This will be a LGBT friendly zone!
We are all adults, if there is a problem let's handle it as such.

Name: Anderson, Andy, Kay Wnits

Occupation: Head Burlesque Dancer and Choreographer

Personality:   Andy, as she prefers is a wonderfully bubbly woman. Very flirtatious by nature she knows how to please a man without ever touching him. Honest by trade Andy doesn't see the need to lie to anyone. If they ask her, her opinion they'll get something they might not like. A woman of very strong values Andy loves her friends as if they were her sisters. The girls she works with are some of the best and she pushes them, expecting nothing but the best. After all they paid well. People come to see them dance expertly, it's what they will see. Andy is a firecracker, never one to back down from a challenge. She has a sharp tongue and knows who to use it. Andy is a woman of dignity though, she dances for everyone to see but she does not take just anyone into her bed. She is also not swayed by money as the Casino puts the girls up with their own suites in the wonderfully expansive hotel. It's an entire area of the hotel for the full time staff only.

History: The daughter of a famous Russian Ballerina Andy was taught how to dance from a young age. Her mother taught her fiercely, making sure she knew all the proper techniques. Under the rigorous training of her mother Andy found herself the fast track to becoming a Ballerina herself. Her father, a freelance artist, knew she wasn't exactly having the fun her Mother had. He encouraged her to do what she wanted, it was her life after all. She didn't share her mother's love of the ballet though, even if she did love to dance. Instead Andy wanted to learn all different types of dance. Taking them all and incorporating them into something not usually seen.

Moving out to L.A. Andy found herself waitressing at a local bar that featured Burlesque dancers. With a love of dance fueling her Andy found herself enraptured and began dancing with the girls. Though she didn't find herself in the spot light, much, with them she found a home and a new found love. Over the next four years Anderson danced her heart out, watching girls go either from marriage, pregnancy, or drugs. She stayed though, stayed dancing her heart out and into a better position. When the boss retired Andy, and the troupe she now called her girls, found themselves without a club to perform in. IT didn't take long before Vivian moved into the kill. She hired the girls on the spot, with better pay, giving them rooms, and benefits. They would need to hire four more girls though to accommodate the huge stage they would be working on.

Four months later Andy was supervising twelve girls and choreographing each of the numbers from classics to new age and she's never looked back. When she was shipped off to boarding school as a teenager Andy had become a little withdrawn. She went to an all girls school and was often teased because of her pale skin and red lips. Girls made fun of her for being a ballet dancer. Even though she is beyond that part of her life Andy has never forgotten it. To this day she still dislikes all of the girls that she went to school with.

Dislikes: Handsy people, disrespect, liars, the color orange, watermelon, 'goody two shoe women'.

Other: Andy hasn't been with a man in quite awhile. Instead she has a tendency to play around with the waitresses.

Personality: A silent man Leon is a listener by trade. The only thing he ever found true pleasure in was giving it to others. A friendly man willing to help anyone he feels needs it, often described as 'one of those faces' he prides himself on his self control. Though he is a proud man Leon isn't quick to anger. He doesn't get jealous easily either. He has strong morals instilled in him since birth. He doesn't believe in hitting women and will gladly through himself into the fray if it looks like a man is going to hit a woman. Leon doesn't say much, though what he does say he tries to instill as much wisdom in it as possible.

History: Both of Leon's parents died in a car accident when he was ten years old, his younger brother Scott, was three at the time. From that point he was raised by his strict Grandmother who made him go to Church every Sunday and Wednesday. He was to be clean and neat at all times. She was a strict woman, though a softy at heart. She never raised a hand to him or his little brother.  She was patient with Scott, as he'd been born with down syndrome. Though, in her old age, he was often too much for her to handle. Leon helped as much as he could but in the end they had to hire a live in nanny to help take care of Scott. Linda was a wonderful nanny, young enough to still play with Scott. She was patient and kind. A bigger woman though she always took time to make herself look professional.

As Leon grew, living in such a strict household, he found himself enamored with Linda. At the young age of seventeen he finally told her of the feelings he had been having. Not having much male attention Linda looked at the handsome young man and she took his virginity. Scott died the next Fall. Leon had been having an on and off again relationship with Linda. When Scott died though Leon found himself distraught. His brother had become much of his world. He did whatever he had to to make the younger boy smile. After Scott's death Linda took another job, moving away from Leon and his Grandmother. She left on good terms with Leon though and he was grateful for having met her. Even more grateful that she had let him touch her beautiful flesh.

After graduating high school Leon went to college to become a lawyer, like his Father had been. He quickly found it to be unforgiving work though and instead took a job up at a local bar. Finding a knack for it Leon switched schools and instead went to a culinary school. Learning how to cook, and then a bartender school where he learned how to serve drinks. He became a bit of a wanderer traveling from place to place, never staying too long. After all there wasn't a high demand for a bartender in the little towns he found himself.

On the reservation Leon happened across a cave, he'd been traveling for days and desperately seeking water. Despite not being a native the old man within the cave took pity upon him. Asking Leon about his past Leon opened up to him telling him all of that. After being in the wild with the man for a week he decided to give him the same blessing that he'd given so many before Leon. He sought out the job at the Casino, knowing that Johnny was a decedent of the old man. He was one of the few who had been okay with what would be going on in the Lounge. Since then he has seen quite a few things that he'd never imagined.

Dislikes: Men who hit women, discrimination, overly thin women, blondes

Other: As the bartender of the 'Lounge' Leon sees quite a few people he would like to interact with though he is not allowed to.

This certainly caught my eye and I already have two characters in mind, but I'm curious about the potential supernatural slant that's being polled. Would the setting be supernatural? The NPCs? Both? Neither? Would we be able to play as a vampire, werewolf, witch or whatever or would that be something that could/would develop later on? Do tell. Inquiring minds would like to know more, even if it's just a random, not-written-in-stone rambling or two on the subject matter. I'm all eyes.

As of right now, Ceralilly and I have no underlining plot. So it will be sandbox, for now. I do love organizing plots though  >:).

My only concern with sandbox games without underlying plots is that they tend to go every different direction and people drop because they get lost.

I played in a Anita Blake themed game a while ago that had a nice undercurrent plot that kept everone focused while letting them enjoy the sandbox.

I'd love to help with developing plots if you need it.

I understand that, I've seen it happen. My co-GM and I just simply have t discussed it yet. There have been some technical issues. First my internet wasn't working, then her computer wasn't. Though now that you've mentioned it I won't be surprised at all if she bounces to me with one. If you've got any ideas I'd love to hear them though! Small plots on the side are always fun.

I am not sure about the tiers of power yet, Carnage and I have to get those details ironed out, but please go ahead and make either or both CS with the elements you would like, and we can fine tune the power natures as Carnage and I get those details ironed out, today.
